Chapter 4 - She Doesn't Believe Me

I get to the spot my mom normally picks me up at. She was there earlier than she said, she was talking to someone and that someone was Marey. Oh no.

Y/N: Mom?

Mom: Y/n... OH my gosh look at you, you're all cut up and bruised

Marey: um sorry but she still bullies me look at my poor leg I still don't know why she did this to me Her Only Friend.

Y/N: YOU'RE not my friend and you started the fight... you,... I kicked you to try to stop yall from kicking me on the grown it wasn't even a fair fight REally two against one beside I was only able to kick you once yall kept kicking me for who knows how long I got knocked out I literally woke up an hour ago! Mom?

Mom: Marey I'm sorry but it's clear that you did the most damage I'll have a talk with Y/N to put your mind at ease.

Y/N: MOM?!

Marey: Oh thank you Ms.

Mom had me get in the Truck and we drove home mom was late because she was talking to Marey's parents.

Y/N: mom you know it wasn't my fault...Right?

She didn't respond meaning she doesn't, believe me, I was heartbroken I thought at least she would be on my side but no. We got home I ran inside and out the back door into the woods to the tree and climb up it to a very safe place to sit and stay the branches made it almost like a cradle making so one could lay in to and not fall out.

I stayed in the tree the whole feeling truly alone I stayed around the tree for 3 days then I finally went home for food and water my mom was upset with me. I didn't care cause she wouldn't believe her own child. she hasn't even been to the tree in 2 years it's gotten HUGE I never knew a tree could grow this fast.

Mom made me go to school I skipped and went to the statue. Today I wanted to see how heavy it was even though it's just a statue it felt weird trying to pick it up. I almost yeeted it across the meadow I wasn't expecting it to be that light I sat it back down and rested my arm on its shoulder.

I smiled it felt like I was actually hanging out with a friend. Marey will probably try to bring her friends here and break the statue maybe I should try to bring it back.

(Time skip from... Marey!? Oh gosh)

It's been a year of trying to come up with a plan to bring the statue home. I'm now 18 and dropped out of school I make money by selling crops. Though my mom went missing a week ago she was gone without a trace nothing but dust behind in the ally behind the place she worked.

Her truck was still at home because it broke down and we had to walk to town for the last month. So my plan to get the statue back was simply to drag it home everyone knows that I basically live there as a second home. I'm surprised no one trying to pick a fight with me this year.

Hopefully, they just forgot me that would be nice. I got up early so I could drag the statue home unnoticed. I got there around 9 am I picked it up I hear a slight crack and freeze I move it a little and it sounded like it was hollow inside. so maybe the inside is chipping away little by little.
