"They studied Bai Chen too," Yang Qing muttered in stupefaction as he rose from his seat and started pacing aimlessly around his courtyard.
"I saw it, but I didn't see it," he murmured, agitated.
He walked around for a bit as countless thoughts exploded in his mind, to the point that he felt it best to sit back down.
"Judge Yang Qing? Judge Yang Qing, are you there?" Li Gang nervously called out after a minute of silence.
Li Gang's voice pulled Yang Qing from his frenzied state. His eyes flickered with surprise, then cleared, showing mild confusion as if he'd just been woken from a dream. It took him a second to register that he was in his courtyard and for his gaze to fall on the communication talisman clutched in his hand.
"Sorry, Branch Manager Li Gang. My mind wandered for a bit," he said apologetically. "Have you decided when you will hold the auction?" he asked gently.
