"You must send my deepest apologies to them. I have been a bit too busy lately and I would be sure to visit with gifts when the time comes," Haruki said, obligingly.
She nodded in acceptance noticing Haruki didn't want to talk about it too deeply. "I'll get you coffee," she said rising up.
"Call Kiyoshi when you leave."
She nodded and exited the office.
Kiyoshi knocked and was invited in almost as soon as she left.
"Announce my engagement," Haruki said firmly.
Kiyoshi parted his lips to speak but paused and pressed his lips. "Okay sir," he said. He bowed to leave although feeling reluctant to leave.
"Anything else?" Haruki sees the man still rooted in the same spot even after bowing.
"What about Dr Yamamoto?"
"He will be fine," Haruki replied. Perhaps this will dissuade Hiroshi from getting involved in his business which was for the best. A thought contradicted that, 'What if Hiroshi chooses to stay regardless of the engagement'.
