Cain let out a sigh.
"In the end, you did what you could." Evangeline briefly comforted him.
He remained silent.
Traxillion made a sound,
"There is no point in going against my Queen. You are fighting the inevitable, Cain."
He took a step towards Cain and crossed all four of his arms,
"With you by our side, we could rule the world. Why do you still resist? What does it matter if you were abandoned once by us?"
Cain snorted and dropped to the ground,
"If you don't understand, then forget about it.'
Obviously, the concept of being loyal to any other thing besides his Queen and his goddess was a concept completely foreign to the Redscale General.
However, Cain didn't blame him at all. Instead, he felt like it aligned more with his nature than anything else.
Survival.
Every beast was just looking out for itself and its kind. And only the strongest would be able to survive.
