Strutting forward calmly, Cain was a bit lost in his thoughts when he felt a gaze settle on him.
He frowned and glanced up.

He continued walking for a bit before arriving at the spot he had left Evangeline.
She was gone, perhaps jumping right back into the comfort of the shadows to continue her rest in peace.
Seeing that he was left all alone again, Cain sighed.
Then he raised his eyes again. The gaze still remained on him.
He knew who it was, but was a bit hesitant to acknowledge it.
In the end, he felt it would be too awkward.
Still, he had no choice. Some things had to be addressed as soon as possible, regardless of how tense the situation was.
"Master, where are we headed to now?" Blatt asked as he adjusted himself under Cain's grip.
"To see the Queen." Cain answered casually.
