Though, once he saw the bitter smile that appeared on the latter's face after the query, the young man understood that the 20th entity was indeed the limit of the first trial.
With that, even though the 21st entity looked to be raring to go for a race, the young man shifted his attention away from the set of cards before him as he came to terms with the fact that he actually reached the end of the first trial.
"Although I'm certain that you would've been able to push past even the 30th entity as long as the trial permitted it, there's a valid reason as to why the trial only extends up to the 20th entity."
Seeing that Ataraxia had finally begun to accept his words, Aeramis took it upon himself to enlighten the young man over the abrupt end of the first trial.
