After both Valyr and Ataraxia informed their respective contacts that they were finally going to undergo ascension, the two sat beside one another once more, this time facing each other.
"So… how much XP did you earn this past week?" Taking the time to catch his breath as he composed himself, Valyr looked at his other self with curiosity as he asked him a question.
"Is it enough to push us to the peak of Rank 5?"
"Who knows?" Hearing those words, Ataraxia faintly chuckled as he shrugged his shoulders. "The only way to find that out is for you to check the amount of XP we have yourself."
Noticing the slightly teasing tone in the former's words, Valyr immediately understood that the amount Ataraxia was able to amass during the past week was definitely enough for them to push their levels to the peak of Rank 5.
After all, if that weren't the case, the young man in front of him wouldn't act that carefree and relaxed around the matter.
