Timeline – Volume 4

Armageddon at the Supernatural Sports Festival!

♦♦♦♦

Jin Skyward's Soliloquy

♦♦♦♦

The sports festival for Kuoh Academy finished a few days ago, and of course, it was the supernatural world's turn. I was on my way home, alone, well…that's what I would have said if I didn't see a crow in front of the school's gate waving at me.

"Yo~, Jin-kun-sama~! Don't you want to move your body around? And I mean a lot! And very enthusiastically?!" said a strangely enthusiastic Azazel as I approached him.

"…What?" I asked a bit weirded out by this.

This psycho…was up to something, and I didn't like it. I'm currently exhausted, you know? You're not a teacher at this school yet, you know…?

Azazel began to squirm around and I took a step back and then brought my phone out. "I better call the police…"

"Stop! What the hell?!" he shouted, lunged forward and stopped me.

So, I stopped and put my phone back in my pocket, and waited for him to say something. He nodded sagely to himself before he spoke. "It's a sports event. Don't you want to participate in another one? I mean, you did get quite hyped up about the human one, you know?"

"More like exhausting. I really don't want to participate in another one," I told him and tried to walk past him, but he grabbed my shoulder and stopped me.

"Now hold on, Jin. My organization is holding it. It's being held by Grigori! Come on, you gotta at least come as the guest of honor! The Three Factions, The Gaelic Alliance, and the Greek Gods are participating, you know?" he said with a smug look.

'All of them…? Well, only a few individuals participated in this from what I can remember, and this was the first time Gabriel was meant to…well, whatever, as long as I don't need to do anything…'

"Fine, but I'm not doing anything. If you do make me do something, I'm immediately leaving," I told him my conditions and he sighed.

"Fine, fine, I'll inform the rest of them. Sheesh, it's like you have a rod up your own ass or something. Lighten up a little," said Azazel but also started to step away from me as he said it.

"…Are we done? I wanna go home."

"You're not staying for club activities?" he asked confused.

"No, now move," I demanded, and he finally relented and moved out of my way.

"I'll tell everyone now~!"

I heard him say behind me. 'Whatever…' I wasn't interested in it, although unless something spectacular happens during it, I won't have the energy for it.

"Occult Research…!"

"Fighto!"

I was getting water from the kitchen when I walked into the entrance hallway and I found Rias along with everyone else in the club doing some sort of strange chant. I had a vague idea of what they were hyping themselves up about.

"Jin, you heard from Azazel, right?" Rias asked.

I nodded in response and said, "It's about the Supernatural Sports Festival, right?"

"Yes, and we of the Occult Research Club, along with the Student Council and a few others will be participating in the event. How about you? Will you be joining?" she asked.

"No, I don't feel like it. Unless I get a big enough motivation to participate, it's unlikely I'm going to be doing anything. Maybe I'll make a speech or whatever, but yeah, that's about it," I told her.

She seemed a little disappointed but understood and didn't try to argue or force me.

"Okay, it's fine…but at least cheer for the rest of us!"

"I'm fine with that…"

Happy with my response, everyone else started walking towards the elevator. It seemed like they were planning to get some extra training or practice in the [Training facility] for tonight before calling it a day. I wished them luck and Akeno winked at me.

Well, let's just see how this version of the Supernatural Sports Festival goes…hopefully not complete and utter pandemonium.

♦♦♦♦

Pomf~

"Reni…is something wrong?" I asked her.

I was in the back garden and was just enjoying the breeze, silence and nighttime air when I felt Reni hug me from behind and make her way towards my front.

"You weren't in the master bedroom or in the living room, so I found you here…" she muttered and looked up at me.

"Yeah, I just wanted a bit of silence…I feel like Ophis now, heh."

[Bad] said the Dragon God of Infinity in my necklace, making Reni and I both laugh.

I hugged her back and stroked her head as she snuggled into my chest. "So, did you need me for something?"

"No…I just wanted to spend time with you," she muttered into my chest.

Fair enough, I enjoy all of their company so it's not that bad. However, during times like this, I'd prefer a much quieter companion, and Reni is one of them. Now that I think about it…

"Hey…are you—or is Team Slash/Dog going to be part of the upcoming sports festival?"

"No…we will be in attendance, but…we're more like body guards or security, so we won't be participating in anything," she said and huffed a little.

"…Hold on, I can fix that," I told her and summoned a communication circle.

"Huh? Jin? Need something from—"

"I'll be putting a barrier over the school, and I'll have my subordinates and shadows act as security, so I'll be bringing Team Slash/Dog as guests during the sports festival."

"…Okay? Did Lavinia just tell you that they'd be security?"

"Maybe…anyway, that's what's supposed to be happening." I didn't leave any room for negotiation; however, he just said it was fine and the magic circle disappeared. "Now we can be lazy for the entire day together."

"Yaaay~" she said tiredly and started to doze off.

Kuoh Academy

Bang! Bang!

It was the day of the Supernatural Sports Festival, and the fireworks for it were just launched. Of course, everyone was quite hyped about it. There were many teams, although they were set up like this:

♦♦♦♦

1. Team Devils

2. Team Fallen Angels

3. Team Angels.

4. Team Gaelic Gods

5. Team Greek Gods

6. Team… Me… because god fucking dammit there weren't enough teams! Shit, they got me!

♦♦♦♦

I sighed as both Lavinia and Sae patted me on the back as I crouched down on the ground. "I hate life. Someone kill me," I muttered.

"Jin…you know that's impossible." Reni tried to console me, but it wasn't working.

"Humor me, Reni…" I replied.

"Do your best, Jin-san…!" encouraged Sae.

I appreciate the encouragement, Sae, but…that isn't exactly going to work…I was the one to create the new dimension for everyone to be in. We had met up at the school during the weekend, and the sports festival was going to be held here.

It didn't matter how much damage they did, this place would stay intact. However, I also warned them not to cause too much damage since I'm lazy as hell right now and didn't have the energy to actively fix it…

Cúntóir: Answer: I can help with that, Jin…

'Then I'll leave it up to you, Cúntóir…thanks.' I thanked her and turned to look at Sae and said, "Thanks, Sae…but you don't need to try…actually, I'm gonna…" I didn't finish my sentence and just lay down on the ground and curled into a ball. I then said, "I am a turtle, I am free…"

To the ones around us, they just stared at me with confused expressions on their faces. There were devils, angels, fallen angels, gods, and a few other types of beings among these people. I closed my eyes and waited for the event to start, but yet...

"What the hell is wrong with him?" Azazel asked.

'He's probably referring to me…ugh, I'm just tired, leave me alone…I have zero motivation right now…'

"C'mon bro!" I heard Kouki's voice and then I was pulled back up. It seemed like Tobio and Kouki pulled me back up.

"Ugh…let me be freeeeee~…" I complained and they just chuckled at me.

♦♦♦♦

"Hey, is that the Oppai Dragon?"

"I think so…isn't that the Witch Princess beside him? Wait, why does he look so pale? Is he sick?"

"Haaa…haaa…Hellcat-chan…! Loli…Hellcat-chan…!"

As I was dragged away from where I was by Tobio and Kouki, I heard very strange conversations from people. Also, do I look pale?

Cúntóir: Answer: A little bit, but it should be impossible for you to get sick, Jin. Let me find out why…

Finally, we made it to a different spot and I could see Irina talking to a golden-winged angel, and…yep, that's Michael. However, beside him was Gabriel and…Altar—

"Jin-sama~~~!"

"Jiiiin~~~!"

Sensing danger, both guys let go of me and I stumbled into Gabriel's chest who reached me first. 'Aaah...this is heaven…literally…' I just hugged Gabriel and didn't let her go. Of course, being her usual self, she happily hugged me back, but in turn, I could feel a lot of people staring at us.

"Ara~? Is Jin-sama feeling listless today?" Altaria asked.

"…Yeah…yeah, that's probably it…I am…the God of Laziness today…" I muttered slowly.

"Hehe~ then I'll spoil you as much as I can~" said Gabriel and began to stroke my head.

'Yeah…go ahead…that feels nice…'

"Jeez, Jin-senpai! Everyone is here to participate in an event, and here you are being lazy!" I heard Irina complain.

"Haha, let him off, Irina-san. He's done quite a bit lately, and perhaps he's just feeling the fatigue get to him now," said the voice of Michael. However, it did sound a bit strained.

When I glanced back up, he was smiling at me, but he also appeared quite troubled. Yes, I am aware that many of the low to high-level angels are probably looking at me with some jealousy or even confusion. As a result of changing things up there in heaven, they shouldn't fall if they feel those emotions.

Cúntóir: Answer: You are lacking 'harem energy'.

{[What the fuck is that?]}

'Interesting…Jin finally created a new energy for himself,' said Rudra.

'I did not! What the hell? Cúntóir, seriously, what is it?'

Cúntóir: Answer: I am serious.

'{[…]}'

Everyone else greets Michael and Irina, some even kneeling.

"Please, you don't need to do that. The current pantheons and factions are coming together today for a fun and bonding experience. All thanks to…" Michael stopped to look at me and became worried. "Um, Jin-kun? Is something wrong?"

"…Harem energy…I need harem energy…!" I muttered and buried myself back into Gabriel.

"Hehe~" she giggled.

"H-harem...energy…?" they all repeated.

Gabriel suddenly prodded me off of her and said, "Ah, right, the opening ceremony is about to begin. We should meet up with the other leaders, Michael, Altaria~"

"Oh, is that so? Time sure does go by fast. Very well, we'll see each other soon enough, everyone. Until then." Michael turned around with Gabriel. However, Altaria trotted over to me, pecked me on the cheek and joined them.

For some strange reason, I felt some of my energy come back to me. 'W-wait, y-you were serious, weren't you…?'

Cúntóir: Answer: Yes, partially. Now go get kissed by the rest of your harem to restore energy! I am also last!

"Ah, the all-mighty Harem-King-sama has arrived, and the rest of you…you still look a bit dead, what's up?" Azazel said while coming over to us.

"I said what I said, Akeno, come here," I muttered.

The [Queen] of the Gremory group was a bit confused, but came over to me. With all eyes on us, I didn't care and ignored them. As soon as Akeno reached me, I just kissed her. She was a bit shocked at the open affection, but quickly kissed me back, and as Cúntóir said, I felt some of my energy coming back, but I seriously hope that it isn't a real thing. Instead, I think it's just me getting a bit motivated by kissing them.

"Jeez, what was that for? I mean…I don't mind, ufufu~," said a slightly flustered Akeno.

"I was serious about needing harem energy. I need to kiss all the women in my current harem," I told her.

Cúntóir: Answer: And potential ones, it will count if you kiss them on the cheek.

'You are seriously going to try to kill me, aren't you?!' I snapped back.

Cúntóir: Answer: Teehee~

"...And potential ones," I said, snapping my eyes at Rias, who blushed quite a bit.

"…I have no idea what's happening, but all right…" said Azazel.

"A-Akeno, J-Jin…"

"Oh?! You sure do have guts to kiss my daughter in front of me! And then immediately going to another woman!"

I heard two familiar voices and turned to them. It was Baraqiel and Shuri. Not too far away, I could see both Michael and Azazel shaking hands, however, they were exuding really weird intense pressure. They sure are competitive about this…

"Mom, Dad!" Akeno said and ran over to them, sharing a quick family hug.

"I said what I must do. I have no regrets, Shuri," I said and saluted her before walking over to Rias.

"W-w-wait, J-Jin, I-I—my heart's not ready yet…!" she said and I gave her a strange look.

"We've already—"

"I mean in front of peo—Mmm…"

I ignored her and kissed her. Her face turned redder as a result. This also meant the rest of them got ready for the incoming kiss-attack, by me. I finally pulled away and Rias blushed and quickly looked around us.

"The nerve!" said Shuri behind me.

"Hehe, it's normal, mom," replied Akeno.

"To me, it is not!"

"Come on, I'll take you two around~" Ignoring her mother, Akeno dragged them away.

I silently thanked her. I didn't want Shuri on me all day, so she did me a favor there. I gotta compensate her later. I snapped at the other women here. Asia, Xenovia, Irina, Natsume, Lavinia, and Shigune. The ones who were nervous were Shigune and Irina, the rest seemed to be just waiting for it.

"All right, let's—" I began to say, but was cut off.

"Jiiiiiiiiiiiiin~"

Bomf~

"Ugh…Áine…" I complained, but remembered she may… "Good timing, actually," I said, "humor me."

"Hmm?"

She got off me, and I turned to face her. I saw a few others that I recognized. I quickly gave Áine a peck on the cheek and she froze. The same from the Irish pantheon, although I could feel Danu becoming slightly jealous and a bit irritated…

"Arararararara~~~? Hehehehehe, I got a kiss from Jin~!" said Áine before turning to face Danu and giving her a smug grin.

However, I quickly made my way to Danu, and gave her a peck on the cheek too. Both women were dumbfounded and Danu stared at me as her face slowly turned red and she began to sputter out words. Finally, I turned to Queen Mia, of Tír na nÓg, she sported a small blush and tried to walk away, but I appeared in front of her—

"Eeek?!" she squealed out, but I quickly pecked her on the cheek, and her whole face turned red.

"I'll explain later, I need to do this to some women…!" I said and disappeared.

But before I could continue my harem-energy-seeking-adventure—

[To all the participants from each faction and pantheon, the opening ceremony will commence at the center of the grounds, so please gather. I repeat, will the—]

"Tch, it's starting, huh? Damn everything…"

♦♦♦♦

For some reason I was chosen to do the opening speech, or at least give out an encouraging one liner and someone else will take over from there. I could see from where I was standing that all participants from each faction had gathered at the center of the field.

They were split into 5 teams, excluding me for now, so a total of 6. Angels, Fallen Angels, Devils, Greek Gods, and Irish Gods.

'Hmm? Oh, Scathach was here too, huh? I wonder where she was earlier…' I wondered as I made eye-contact with Scathach who smirked and pointed at her lips. 'She knows already, huh? Well, it's not like it matters.'

"Jin-san, it's your turn!" a voice of Sandalphon said and I nodded.

I left the area where I was waiting and walked over to the mic. I heard a few snickers, and I 'glared' at them, and they stopped. It was mostly Áine who got a smack from Danu. I finally spoke into the mic—

"Uuuhhh, I hereby declare and promise that I will somewhat participate in this, compete with some fairness and—"

Smack!

"Take this seriously!" Penemue said beside me after smacking me. I just sighed at her and looked back at the crowd. They were either keeping themselves from laughing, confused by what I said or were just amused by what just happened with the Fallen Angel.

"I hereby declare and promise that I will compete against others fairly and will follow the spirit of sportsmanship!" I put a little more energy into that, and she was satisfied before pulling me away.

I'm pretty sure they're going to be following the Japanese system for this sports festival. This will make it a bit easier, and everyone got a pamphlet of that so they can understand the rules. I also got one, so while being dragged away by Penemue, I took it out and read through it.

"I wish to sleep on Penemue's thighs, it says in this pamphlet. What say you, great and all-mighty, Penemue-sama?" I asked her and she stopped to look at me.

We had reached an area with a bench and she sighed before sitting down. She gestured to her thighs and I gave her a thumbs up.

"Ariga-thanks," I said that before plopping down and enjoying some thigh pillows.

"What is with you today?" she asked a bit annoyed.

"…I need harem energy, and I'm trying to collect that right now."

"…Harem…energy?" she asked even more confused.

So I told her what it was and how I could get it. She, in the end, just sighed at me and shook her head. But then she gained a thoughtful look and pointed at herself. "Do I count?"

"Pretty bold of you to say, but yeah, I think so," I replied.

She nodded, leaned down and kissed my forehead, surprising me a bit with her bold move. She gave me a smug look while sporting a small blush. "Be honored, Skyward."

"Yes, yes, I am, Penemue-sama~"

"Mmm~~!"

We suddenly heard a voice and we both turned our attention to it, and saw Gabriel. Her cheeks were puffed like a squirrel eating a nut, and she seemed upset.

"Ara? Gabriel-chan?"

"Penemue! Jin! I heard from Irina; I will kiss you too!" Gabriel declared and walked over to us, leaned down and kissed my lips.

"It's a sports festival, not a gathering for this shmucks harem," the voice of Azazel said.

We looked behind Gabriel and Azazel was there looking tired. He started to gesture for us to join him and I reluctantly did so. I was a bit more energetic now.

"Do you know why we're doing it like the Japanese people?" asked Penemue beside me.

"Yeah, there were some spies during the sports festival here at the school, right? I'll just assume they want to use that as a reference for holding one. While it's a bit competitive, it's mostly done in good fun, unlike in Ireland where it can get a bit too competitive. Unless it was just my school…" I told her.

"Well at least you were paying attention to your surroundings even when you were screaming along with the rest of them," said Penemue.

"Oh jeez, I didn't think Ms. Penemue was stalking me, iiiyaaaaann~" I faked moaned the last part.

Bonk!

"Don't moan like that, it's strange…"

"Iiiiyaa—"

Gabriel began to mimic me, but both Penemue and I stopped her by covering her mouth. I wasn't ready to hear Gabriel's erotic moans, honestly…I don't know if I have the heart to corrupt her. I mean, I want to do it with her, but…

"See what you did? You're corrupting this angel, shame on you!" she scolded me.

Gabriel put a finger under her chin and said, "Akeno has been teaching me things when I get the chance to visit. Is it wrong?"

All three of us froze. Azazel had a perverted expression on his face and I just glared at him and he began to walk away. Penemue looked like she was preparing to scold Akeno, and I was unsure on how to feel.

"I'll…I'll speak with her, for the time being…don't take what she says too seriously, all right?" I asked her and then began petting her on the head.

"Mmm!" she answered back happily.

♦♦♦♦

"This is just depressing…" I muttered to myself.

I sat away from the 5 other areas of seating since all of them were with their respective faction or pantheon. To put it simply I was alone.

Shing! Shing! Shing!

However, before I could say anything else, three people appeared beside me. Lianne, Aurelia and Shaula. Ah, right, I had them, didn't I? I felt a little better, but didn't this also mean I could use them for the upcoming games for the supernatural sports festival?

"We are here, Jin-sama." Lianne put a hand on my shoulder reassuring me.

"Yeah, let's kick butt!" Shaula said enthusiastically.

"Huhu, I can go wild, can't I?" asked Aurelia.

With the appearance of these three, all eyes turned to me, and I saw Azazel facepalming, and a few others begin to panic. I have an unstoppable team now…huhu, I feel even more—

Chu~ Chu~ Chu~

I again was stopped when all three of them gave me a peck on the lips. Of course, they took turns otherwise it would have been difficult to do.

"""Let's win this,""" said all three of them.

"Y-yeah…" I half-heartedly raised my fist.

"Oooooohhhhhhhh!!!!!!!"

We also heard very determined screaming from all the other groups. Why do I feel like this will become even more chaotic than what happened in canon…?

♦♦♦♦

Maybe I was wrong? Nevertheless, everything started off pretty normally. I, along with my group plus Altaria since Michael said she could join my group to increase the numbers. We were cheering on Aurelia who was running around in the groups along with the others.

"Go~ go~ D-E-V-I-L-S~!"

We heard some cheering and it came from Serafall Leviathan. She, along with her assistants were cheering on the devils, and all of them were dressed in magical girl outfits. Her assistants were obviously embarrassed, but didn't want to stand against her word.

However, she would occasionally look over at me and wink. Honestly, who is she really cheering on at this point…? But the next event was going to be the 'Obstacle race' which I would be the one participating in my group.

[Will those who will be participating in the obstacle race gather in the allocated area please.] the voice of the announcer said.

I along with a few others got up and walked over to that part of the field. "I'm off then."

"Good luck, Jin."

"Luck be with you, Jin-sama!"

"Win, and I'll suck you off," said Aurelia as she came back.

"…Please don't be vulgar as soon as you arrive back to us…" muttered Lianne a bit annoyed, but Aurelia just laughed her off.

♦♦♦♦

I had lined up along with a few other participants. I only recognized three of them though…Thor, the God of Thunder, Ravel Phenex and Áine. The goddess looked rather motivated.

"It hasn't been that long since we met each other, Red Dragon Emperor," said Thor beside me with a grin.

"Yeah it has. I take it that things have been well?" I gestured for a fist bump and we bumped our fists.

"Mmm," he answered with a nod.

"J-i-n~ I'm prepared to put my life on the line for this~!" Áine said on my other side.

"Oh? Why is that?" I asked.

"I got my kiss earlier and I'm very motivated right now!"

"Is that so…?"

Thor looked at me a bit confused, but he grinned at me again at the end. Ravel was also glancing at me every now and again but didn't say anything. Even when I looked at her directly, she would just look away with a blush.

'The hell's wrong with her? Is she on her period?'

{[…]}

[We will now commence the obstacle race! On your marks…get set…go!]

Bang!

We all ran after hearing the bang. I ran at a moderate pace, fast enough that I was ahead of the rest, but not too far that I would blow them out of the water. This was supposed to be a fun event, so I didn't want to ruin it by completely annihilating them all.

I heard many people cheering us on and even a few… well, 'Kill them!' or phrases along those lines. Even though we were in an alliance that doesn't mean there wasn't any tension left, however, they did their best...but I guess the competitive nature of this event just brought it out of them.

The obstacle was fairly simple, all we had to do was cross a balance beam, crawl under a net, and kick certain kinds of balls into a net, which we all did with zero problem, however—as we reached the last part of the race…

"Gyaaaaoooooooooooon!"

"Kyuueeeeeeeeeeeeeeen!"

"Gowangowan!"

The things that made such weird noises were a nine-headed enormous snake, a giant three-headed dog, and a large bird that was spreading open its wings. I stopped along with everyone else. They were quite stunned by what was in front of us.

'A Hydra, Cerberus and some mysterious bird…'

[For the last obstacle we positioned each of the monsters~: A serpent with deadly poison that can kill Angels and Devils with ease, a Hydra! The gate dog of hell, Cerberus! And the ominous bird, Ziz, is also present! So please try to break through the monsters!]

"Hmm? Oh, Old man Tannin," I said as I saw the former Dragon King in front of us.

"Hmm? Ah, Skyward, the current Red Dragon Emperor," he replied and we nodded to each other.

"Why are you here?" I asked.

"Well, I was asked to help with a certain sports day for the current Alliances, but it seems they wanted me to do this role," he said rather amused.

Well, that makes sense. Dragons are monsters in a sense. But to put an Ultimate-class Devil and former Dragon King as an obstacle, for any normal participant, this would have been impossible to get through…

"Gyaaaa!"

"Uwaaaaa!"

"Hyaaaa! Jin-sama heeelp!"

"Iyaaaan~ Jin~ heeeelp~"

In total, there were 6 participants, which also included me…however, most of them had been captured by the monsters, with both Áine and Ravel by the Hydra and they looked both uncomfortable, however…

Áine looked especially terrified, even though she was trying to play it off. I quickly glanced at Danu and the Irish pantheon and they seemed rather uneasy. I wonder what that was about? But when I looked over at Thor, his head had been swallowed by the bird.

"A-are you okay…?"

"I am fine, I suggest you help the rest," he said rather nonchalantly.

'Uh, Thor, your head…' I thought and wanted to say out loud, but I just followed his instructions.

I jumped up into the sky and clicked my fingers. A loud shockwave was produced, and the monsters were knocked out, and I jumped forward to the finish line.

[Ooooooh!!! Jin Skyward wins! He even helped out his opponents!] the announcer shouted.

I then walked back over and Thor had already removed the bird from his head. I also helped the other participants, especially the ones captured by the Hydra as they had become a bit…slimy/sticky.

However, when I tried to help Áine, she swatted my hand away with quite a bit of force. She then looked back up a bit mortified and—

"I-I'm sorry, I was just a bit sticky. I didn't want to get it on you, J-Jin…a-ahahaha…" she said with a stutter.

"It's fine," I said and shook my head, then helped Ravel to her feet. "Are you okay?"

"Y-yes, t-thank you for helping, J-Jin-sama…"

I glanced back at Áine one more time as she looked a bit off now. I wonder if it has something to do with her past? Well, whatever, I can deal with it at another time. I doubt she will tell me now.

♦♦♦♦

A few events later and…everything had turned somewhat hostile and very, very competitive. All participants had become somewhat hostile to each other, and I could see they wanted 2nd place. Why not 1st you ask? Because for some reason they already kind of gave it to me…it's not like I'm the only person in my group.

But I will admit that both Lianne and Shaula won their events relatively easily, and my turn was coming up again.

[Will those who will be participating in the item-gathering race gather in the allocated area please.]

"…Okay, I'm off again," I said, and got up.

"Kill them," said Aurelia quite seriously.

"I will not," I replied.

""Good luck!"" the other two gave me a normal response which I'm thankful for.

I also heard a few shouts of encouragement from other factions and pantheons. However, they were from people I knew personally. The vast majority were screaming for their own side.

Once I reached the area, I was hoping for it to be a little more…well, less chaotic. From what I understood in the sports festival in Kuoh academy, this event is the one you'd see in cliché festivals in anime. You go get a piece of paper or an envelope, and fetch whatever was written in it.

I hope I get something normal. I'm pretty sure Issei got 'Siscon' in this one, and I hope to avoid that, otherwise I'm forced to get either Sirzechs or Serafall.

[On your marks…get set…go!]

Bang!

Like my previous event, I dashed forward and went ahead of the others. This time around, the ones participating weren't anyone I knew, so I didn't really chat with them, but we did greet each other when we arrived.

I quickly arrived at the spot and picked up an envelope and opened it.

"Who the hell is 'Super Siscon Max'?!" a fallen angel shouted utterly confused.

"Which one is the…Blazer Shining or Darkness Blade Boy…?" a devil asked even more confused.

"Who the fuck is Carol?!" a deer youkai shouted.

Yes, yes, who is Carol…? I have zero idea who Carol is…but when I looked at my own piece of paper, I just stopped and became confused.

It simply said, [Bring the one you recently defeated in a competition and hold them close.] That's so vague! Also, aren't these things supposed to be one word or something?! Why is that last part even part of it?!

I threw the piece of paper to the ground, but it slowly floated to it. I sighed and picked it back up. The rest of the participants had been running around like headless chickens not entirely sure who to get, especially 'Carol-guy' as I dubbed the youkai.

If I remember correctly, this event wasn't limited to just my group, so I could essentially grab anyone from any group. But…I recently formed an alliance with the Greek gods, which also means…I beat Artemis in that bow competition we did. So I turned to look at her.

Artemis who had been sitting looking a bit bored saw me looking at her and flinched. She got up and tried to walk away, but I quickly appeared behind her and grabbed her hand. "I need you," I declared and got a bunch of gasps around us.

"Bahahaha! Did you hear that, Artemis? He neeeeeeds youuuu!" Zeus mocked and started to laugh harder.

Poseidon also joined it and started saying 'He neeeeedssss yoooouuuu', which further pissed off Artemis and she dragged me away instead. As we left, I saw Hermes and Hestia grinning at me. However, Hephaestus looked a bit upset.

I'm sorry, but…this doesn't exactly tie into you…I finally took the reins and picked Artemis up and she looked mortified.

"W-w—unhand me! Let me down!" She started to struggle but I stopped her.

"Just bear with me, it's in the paper, I need to do this," I told her as I had picked her up bridal-style and she just blushed furiously and angrily looked at me and the organizers. I was obviously the first one there, well…no, some had tried to bring people there, but they were wrong, so…yeah.

I gave them the piece of paper and they looked at Artemis and I. So I explained our impromptu competition, and even showed them the memory through a magic circle.

Bang!

[Winner, Jin Skyward!] he announced, and the event came to an end.

"Ah, right, sorry about this," I said and kissed her on the cheek.

I finally put her down and ran away. I didn't want her wrath since Artemis just froze up on the spot after I kissed her. However, a few seconds later—

"Skywaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaard!!!" she screamed and I dodged and caught some arrows that were shot at me.

[U-Uwaaaaa! Participant Artemis-sama, please stooooop!!] the announcer shrieked as part of the field was blown up since she missed some shots that were nowhere near me.

♦♦♦♦

This time…it was the 'ball-toss' game and it required everyone to participate. I had a terrible feeling about this and told my group to watch out for chaos to ensue. However, I wasn't going to stop it. I think it would be a good idea to let it out of their system.

This event, the 'ball-toss' is very simple. There's a basket placed on a very long rod and we just throw balls with our teams' colors into it.

[Now, the ball-toss event shall start! Please throw the balls into your own faction or pantheon's basket!]

I, along with Altaria, Shaula and Lianne picked up the balls from the ground that were near us and began to chuck the balls into our basket, however…

"Throw the lights towards the devils!!"

Chuuudooooon!!

"These are our grudges from the past!!"

Dooooooooon!!

"It's Armageddon, god dammit!!"

""Let's join in even though we're not part of it!!" both Nuada and Zeus shouted…

And so chaos ensued.

Don! Don! Don! Boom! Boom! Boom!

The sounds of explosions could be heard everywhere. Instead of a ball game, an all-out war had started. Instead of throwing balls, angels, fallen angels, devils and gods were just throwing attacks at each other. It's pandemonium in here…

I stood there and sighed. Shaula, Altaria and Lianne were dutifully throwing the balls into the basket without paying much attention to them, however—

"Ha-ha-ha!"

Aurelia had run off and started to fight with Scathach and their battle tore through the field. A few devils, angels and fallen angels were caught in it and were thrown into the sky.

"Gyaaaaaaa!!"

I then heard Gasper's shriek. He was being chased by a few devils and fallen angels, looking very weird and... 'thirsty'. I'm pretty sure they were the ones who wanted to 'touch' him in canon. I just prayed for my junior.

"Danu! Keep those roots up! We need to block any attacks coming our way. Let's stop them from blowing up our basket!" Áine shouted.

The rest of the Irish pantheon was playing the event, the same with the Greek gods, although most were also fighting and blowing everything up.

"Hermes, fetch those balls, will you? The rest of us will throw them in," ordered Hera.

"Yes, ma'am!" he answered and disappeared.

"Uwaaa…what is happening? Is this even sports related at this point?" Hestia asked the goddesses around her.

"I do not know, but I want to go over there to Jin and kiss him again," replied Amalthea.

"What's that got to do with anything?!" snapped back Hestia, but Amalthea just laughed at her.

[Will the Angels and Fallen Angels please stop throwing lights at the Devils! They'll perish you know?! Hey, you! Don't start throwing spears of lights as if you're doing a javelin throw! That's a totally different activity! And can the Devils stop attacking too! The gods too, please don't just join in for the heck of it!! Are you guys idiots?! Are all of you actually brain-damaged?!]

The announcer sounded fed up as he kept screaming into the mic.

"This is pretty fun, isn't it, Jin?" asked the voice of Rias.

I turned to my side and she had come over to our side as she dodged another attack. However, she had a smile on her face, so I guess she was having fun? If you call absolute chaos 'fun'…

"I-I guess…?" I answered her a bit confused.

But in the distance…

"Yo, Michael. This is your end for meeting me here," said Azazel as he had a menacing grin on his face.

"Ufufu, today you have those same eyes from the war, Azazel. They are filled with evil," replied Michael.

"Yeah, it makes me remember the past. You…how dare you! Announcing the report I wrote when I was still in Heaven! And in front of everyone!" said Azazel and then he threw the ball at Michael who dodged it.

'I'm pretty sure you're meant to throw that into the basket and not at people…' I thought but said nothing and watched the confrontation from afar.

"Ah, you're talking about 'that'. The compilation of your data reports, correct? Not only did it have an absurdly long title and explanation, titled: The compilation report of the Ultimate Sacred Gear I thought of,' you also included your own illustration of it."

"I thought you had wonderful talent, Brother. So I ended up passing it on to everyone in the form of a leaflet during the war. I really wanted everyone to see it. I think the name of it was [Blazing Shining Aura Darkness Blade], correct? It was very remarkable," Michael said with a grin.

Upon hearing that, Azazel's face turned red and he started to throw more balls at Michael, who dodged them.

"Shuuuut uuuup! Because of that, I had the frickin' leaders of my group called me [Blazer Shining Aura Darkness Governor]! I even heard it today and I nearly spat out my drink!"

"You know they were saying, 'Hey Azazel, can you send the [Blazer Shining Aura Darkness Blade] as a secret weapon?' and 'You're going to eliminate the enemies using the [Blazer Shining Aura Darkness Blade] now, right?'"

"And also, 'Azazel-san, where is your dinner knife, also known as the [Blazer Shining Aura Darkness Blade]?!' God Dammiiiiiiiiiit!!"

"Hehe, that was rude of me~!" Michael laughed and dodged more balls that were thrown at him.

I never pegged Michael as the mischievous type, but he really did that, huh? Especially during the Great War between the 3 factions, he sure has balls to do it…also, Azazel held on to that grudge for the longest time, huh? What a strange bunch…

However, when I turned to the other side, I saw Akeno confronting Baraqiel with Shuri cheering for both of them on the sidelines.

"A-Akeno…" he muttered, unsure of what to do.

Akeno looked at her father, put her hands together and with tear-filled puppy-dog eyes told him, "Dad, please help us…!"

It was such a sad, yet adorable expression that Baraqiel clutched his chest where his heart was and fell to his knees.

"U-uuuooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!" Baraqiel screamed and picked up the red balls that belonged to the Devil's team and started throwing them into the Devil's basket!

Obviously, Azazel who saw it was utterly shocked. "O-oi! B-Baraqiel, stop! That's the wrong team and balls!"

While tears streamed down his face, Baraqiel kept throwing the red balls into the basket and said, "I'm sorry, Azazel! It's for my daughter and wife! This is for the only daughter I haaaaaave!! Uuuuoooooo!!"

He had brushed aside Azazel's words and kept going. Azazel dodged the balls being thrown back at him by Michael still shocked. However—

"Ufufu~"

Akeno herself was throwing in balls together with her father, with Shuri cheering them on even harder.

"What the heck is happening…?" asked Natsume on the sidelines.

"I don't know…" replied Shigune as she held Poh closer to her.

"…I think it was a sensible idea to sit this out," said Tobio as he held Sae close to him, in a protective manner.

"…I wanna join in!" shouted Kouki, however he was stopped by Ajamu.

"No, it would be even more chaos if you joined in," said Ajamu.

"Tch!" Kouki just clicked his tongue and turned away.

"…I wanna join Jin's side…" muttered Lavinia and waved at me.

"This is utter chaos…they're getting way too ahead of their selves…!"

Rossweisse was also here and as she stood beside Team Slash/Dog watching all of this happen.

""Ha-ha-ha!""

Boom! Boom!

Both Scathach and Aurelia's battle also raged on, and even more people got caught up in the explosions.

"That looks so fun. Can I join in the future, mom, dad?!" Siobhan asked her parents.

"M-maybe in the far, far future…" answered Darragh, and his wife, Isabella nodded in agreement with her husband.

♦♦♦♦

"Diiiiiiiiiiieeee Angeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeels!!"

Boom!

The next event was the cavalry battle, and this just amplified the competitiveness and hostility that they had been keeping in. There were various teams, but it was mostly down to a few teams in each pantheon and factions.

"Don't look down on angels! You shall receive the last judgment, amen!!"

"Both angel and fallen angel shall perish!!"

Doom!

Everyone is ignoring the actual event, and is just fighting each other now. There hadn't been a single fatal injury or death, but they were still being injured. I mean...who wouldn't be? With all those attacks just flying around the place.

In all honesty, I was—

"I expected more from the leaders but they're also joining in on this chaos…" Lianne muttered beside me.

"Huhu~ even Michael-sama and the other Seraphs are getting worked up over this~ I mean, they won't fall anymore, now will they~?" Altaria said behind me.

"Mmm! Mmm! Mmm!"

"Aurelia, please calm down…you and Scathach were basically destroying everything," Shaula said to the currently tied up Aurelia.

"I certainly don't mind bondage, Jin. However, I have not tried it at all during my entire existence. I did not know you were into it," said the Queen of the Land of Shadows. She was also tied up beside Aurelia.

Yeah, I tied them up earlier, when Aurelia was about to use a power ability, and Scathach was going to use an even more powerful Gael Bolg finishing move than when we sparred. I couldn't let some people actually get killed in front of me because of these two, so I had to stop them.

"But shouldn't we stop this?" asked Lianne again.

"…Yeah, I'll do it. I'll make it something that many people will remember…so I apologize in advance," I said to them.

"What?" they asked in unison.

"Boosted Gear," I muttered and the [Boosted Gear] appeared on my arm.

[Uhh…Partner, I don't like where this is going…]

"Don't worry about it, Ddraig," I told him and walked through the chaos that was happening.

What I was planning....was an even bigger scale [Dress Break] to strip EVERYONE of their clothes. Of course, I wouldn't target the ones in my immediate harem, but everyone else...yeah, I'm sorry.

Several noticed me walking past them, but quickly returned to their battle. Finally reaching the middle of the field, I put my hand up.

"Boost me once, even if it's overkill," I said to Ddraig.

[B-boost?]

My power doubled.

"Why do you sound unsure of yourself…?"

[I don't want to do this!]

"Well, you're doing it. Let's end this…[Dress Break]!" I shouted and snapped my fingers.

After doing so, everyone's clothing, including the ones on the sidelines, the staff that weren't participating and guests, their clothes burst and were destroyed. The only ones that were safe were the ones in my harem, and the ones I decided not to include in this, especially the children.

"Kyaaaaaaaaaaaa?!"

"Iyaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!"

When they saw this, the men, especially the angels, who had been conditioned never to look at a woman in a lewd way, had their eyes on the women who were stripped.

"Oooooo!!"

Many of the fallen angels and devils shouted in glee! They also began to get nosebleeds! That was the first time I'd seen that cliché happen here, unless I just didn't see it the other times I'd been here? Well, regardless of that…

"Uwaa…he really did some kind of disgusting move…as expected of the Oppai Dragon and Harem King…" Hestia said with a bit of disgust in her voice.

"At least he didn't target us, otherwise I would have fired more arrows at him," said Artemis while glaring at me.

"W-w-w-w-what are you doing, mother?! S-stop!" Zeus screamed and tried to stop Amalthea from stripping and running over to me.

"All of you need to calm down," said a tired Astraea.

"Ufufu, I agree with Amalthea though~ I wouldn't mind letting—" Demeter was stopped by Astraea covering her mouth.

Over at the Irish Gods' area—

"…"

"Danu, why do you look disappointed? And why do you keep looking at your own chest?" Brigid asked her fellow goddess.

Danu looked up, blushed and shook her head. "N-no, it's nothing…" she told her.

"Hah! She's just disappointed that Jin didn't aim for her clothing, riiight~?" Áine grinned at the Primordial Goddess.

Pinch~ Pinch~

"Okay, that's enough, Jin," Reni said as she pinched my cheek. No, not just her, even Rose came over to pinch my other cheek.

"Okay…"

♦♦♦♦

It was finally the last activity of the Supernatural Sports Festival, and the chosen event was…a baton pass relay race! It was so cliché that it almost hurt my ears after hearing it.

[For each team, each chosen participant is waiting at certain points on the track! Now, the supernatural sports day which has finally calmed down and is finally at its final event of the day! Please try to behave!] the announcer begged.

There were still a few men with bleeding noses due to the move I made, and it was permanently banned in future Supernatural sports days. I mean, if they behaved I wouldn't have had to resort to doing that…

Of course, Shuri came over and gave me an earful. However, Akeno came over and said she asked me to do it, and she calmed down a bit but also gave her a lecture. I really do need to give Akeno a reward after this…

I looked at the floating magic circle that showed all the teams' points. My group was first, even if they did deduct some points because of my [Dress Break], but whatever, I can live with it. But the deduction of points also means that all groups had very close points, meaning whoever wins this…wins it all.

I am the anchor for this relay race. I had summoned Elsa for this since we needed six people in total, and she was more than happy to participate. Hell, all of my shadows and subordinates have been watching today with amusement.

"Fufu, so you're my opponent for this last part of the race, Jin?" Azazel asked beside me with a few bruises on him.

"…Yeah?" I said a bit confused.

"Let's do our best, everyone!" Gabriel said on my other side. She and Azazel were the anchors for the fallen angels and angels' side.

Meanwhile, for the Devil's it was—

"Fuahahaha! What a magnificent last group! My rival and best friend, Jin! The Governor of the Fallen Angels! One of the Great Seraphs, Gabriel! Hermes of the Greek Gods and finally—Lugh, the God of the Sun in the Irish mythology!" Sairaorg said with excitement.

"I wish you all luck," said Lugh calmly.

[They're coming! All of them are coming! The final part of the race is going to start!!] the announcer screamed.

"Sairaorg-kun, I leave the rest to you!"

"Yes, leave it to me, Lucifer-sama!"

Sairaorg grabbed the baton and ran for his life. Following that, Uriel handed the baton to Gabriel.

"Bye-bye, Jin!" she waved at me before running off.

Nuada then passed his to Lugh followed by Artemis handing hers to Hermes. Azazel and I were the only ones left.

"Hey, how about a bet, Jin?"

"A bet…?"

He grinned, "If I win, you work for me for a day and help with Sacred Gear research," said the Governor of the Fallen Angels.

"And if I win?" I asked.

He shrugged and said, "If you win, I'll do any—"

Boom!

"Deal," I said with glee as my aura rose considerably and Azazel gulped.

"…C-can I take it back?"

"No," I flatly told him.

Finally, Penemue reached Azazel and he snickered at me before running off. Aurelia finally arrived by my side and winked…this…this…she did this on purpose!! I looked in front of me and everyone was also firing attacks at each other to try to win.

Sairaorg covered himself in touki while blasting shockwaves at everyone, Gabriel dodged everything and threw some light spears at them, Hermes just screamed and dodged everything without fighting back, Lugh covered himself in a power shield and now Azazel had pulled out something…

[I-is that the famed [Blazer Shining Aura Darkness Blade]?! He completed it?!] the announcer screamed in shock.

I'm going to guess that he's a fallen angel…

"Are you planning to leave?" Aurelia asked a bit confused.

"Yeah…"

Doom! Fwshhhh!!

I left her behind with a large gust of wind and quickly caught up with the one in first place, Hermes.

"Uwa?! Jin?! Oh, no, I need to get serious then, see ya!" Hermes screamed and disappeared; he was traveling at a much faster speed than what I saw back in Little Olympia.

"Fuahaha! I will also increase my speed!" Sairaorg said and blasted past everyone.

"Damn monsters!!" Azazel screamed and tried his best to keep up.

"Nooo~" Gabriel complained as she also increased her speed.

Lugh and I looked at each other.

"May the best man win," he said.

"Yeah," I replied.

Booom!

His body was covered in even more powerful divine energy, while mine was covered in lightning. I was essentially copying Killua's 'Godspeed', and appeared beside Hermes again. I casually walked beside him and he looked at me in surprise.

"Sorry, man, I want to win," I said and disappeared from his sights again.

"Dammit Jin!" Hermes screamed.

"Fuahaha! As expected of my rival!" Sairaorg was way too happy about this.

Not wasting any more time, I arrived at the finishing line and stepped through it and—

Bang!

[Winner Gabriel!]

"Eh?" I said a bit dumbfounded. However, when I looked to my side, there lay a tired Gabriel whose eyes were spinning. 'Did she grab onto me as I passed her by…?'

[It's impressive that she managed to do it, and she even overtook you as you casually passed the finishing line, Partner. You got played haha!] Ddraig said while laughing at me.

I crouched down and picked up Gabriel. "Are you okay…?" I asked her but got no response.

"Gyaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!!"

I heard the screams of Azazel as he was surrounded by fallen angels with a lot of dangerous auras being directed at him. They really wanted him to win, huh? I walked back over to the angels with Gabriel in my hands, sleeping peacefully. I had healed her while I made my way towards them.

"She grabbed onto me when I wasn't looking. It's honestly a miracle she managed to," I confessed to him and they chuckled at me.

"Yes, perhaps sister Gabriel was waiting for you to make your move, otherwise she would have lost. Lugh-sama wasn't too far from you, he was basically in 3rd place," said Raphael.

Altaria came over to us and I handed her Gabriel and told her to bring her to her room to sleep it off since I knew Heaven might have more work to do. I didn't want to just bring her to my home and have her leave.

And so…that's how the Supernatural Sports Festival concluded. The winners were the Angels. My group came in second. Third place was the Devils, Fourth for Greek Gods, Fifth for Irish Gods and finally, the Fallen Angels as sixth, and that's why they were out for Azazel's blood.

I also managed to refill my 'harem energy' that night, although most of it came from Akeno and Reni.

Timeline – Volume 5

Adventures of Team Vali 1

♦♦♦♦

Le Fay Pendragon's Soliloquy

♦♦♦♦

I, Le Fay Pendragon am part of a team called 'Team Vali'. Our group mostly embarks on self-contained adventures to get stronger. A few months ago we lost a member. More accurately she left of her own accord, although we aren't too upset about it since we've replaced her with a new member.

Well, we have a few brand-new members. Fenrir-chan, the former child of the Evil God Loki, a Gogmagog, and finally, Calantha Vordenburg-sama. She's a vampire from the Carmilla Faction, and from the House of Vordenburg.

"Heeey, Vali~ when are we going to get there~?" Calantha-sama asked Vali-sama.

Currently, we are in China. We want to recruit some youkai to our team since we only have Bikou-sama to rely on and he isn't exactly that proficient at certain abilities that youkai typically use. If Kuroka-sama was still here, she would be able to do it instead.

"I don't know, but if we're going by what Bikou said, we'll reach it in a few hours. However, he also said to be wary of a certain organization," explained Vali-sama.

"Fiiine~" she reluctantly let go of him and walked beside me.

"Hey, Vali, what's this place's name again?" Bikou-sama asked our leader.

"It's the capital of the recently formed Chinese pantheon. They—like the Irish pantheon formed an alliance of their own and called it the Jiangxi Liansheng," he said to Bikou-sama.

"Hmm~ so who's the current leader?" he asked.

"Someone apparently called Ningguang. She also has elite guards that are rumored to be at least Ultimate-class, and the strongest 4 are around Satan-class. In total, there are 8 of them, and they're known as her 8 Divas," Vali-sama explained.

Bikou-sama looked back at us and seemed confused. So I pulled out a book and looked through it. It's a personal journal of mine where I keep some things, I think are relevant. Even though I have a sharp memory, I can't remember everything.

"Here it is, the 8 Divas. Currently, the names of each of them are as follows: the current leader, Rixia Mao, their second in command is called Wu Song. The rest of the members are Lin Chong, Shi Jin, Yang Zhi, Gongsun Sheng, Xiang Yu, and Zhang Mei. However, there are rumors of Zhang Mei being originally Japanese and her name starting with Shizuna," I explained to them.

"A Japanese in their ranks? Seems interesting, so they're her bodyguards or something? Well, what about the others?" Bikou-sama asked again.

"Well…Ningguang is their leader, however, there are other influential figures in the realm, especially some dragons. But…in her immediate vicinity…and the ones that I know of are Ganyu, Keqing, Yelan, Cao Lee, Xin Lu and Ashen Lu."

I closed the book and looked back at Bikou-sama and said, "I'm sure there are more figures, but…we can't only find out about them when we meet them, Bikou-sama."

Suddenly, Vali-sama stopped and put his arm out to signal us to stop.

Fwosh~!

In front of us was a person in a black robe.

"Hmm? The terrorist group known as Team Vali, what have you come here for?" they asked.

"We are looking for the descendants of Sha Wujing and Zhu Bajie. We've searched the areas where the rumors and legends said they were, but they are currently empty," he told them honestly.

"Hmmm…well, they are in our realm, Nanzendu because of recent terrorist activity. Have you come to kidnap them?" They asked and let out their aura…

'They're powerful…they're at least Ultimate-class or even Satan-class,' I thought. I saw my brother getting ready to summon his weapon too.

"Kidnap? No, recruit? Yes," Vali-sama said with a fierce grin. "I want more powerful members since Jin-aniki took one of our previous ones.

"Jin-aniki? Ah, the Dual Dragon…yes, our leader, Lady Ningguang wants to form an alliance with him soon. Perhaps we'll make contact with him…" they muttered.

Now that I listen closely, I feel like their voice was somewhat feminine.

Vali-sama smirked and added, "We were kicked out of Khaos Brigade, so we're wanted outlaws of both the DxD Alliance and Khaos Brigade, hehe."

"I assume that the Dual Dragon knows of this?" 'she' asked.

"I would assume so. Aniki may be stupid at times, but he can be perceptive."

"…Very well, follow me. I will inform Lady Ningguang and Sir Cao Lee that your group will be entering our realm," she said and pulled down her robe. "I am called Ling Chong. Follow me, terrorist Vali."

Lin Chong is a beautiful girl in her early 18s. She has violet-colored eyes and pale skin. She has black hair growing past waist length and has spiky bangs. She wears her hair in a ponytail and has spiky bangs. Lin Chong is wearing a backless Chinese dress with detached sleeves and thigh-high stockings.

'S-so pretty!' I couldn't help but think...!

I-I wonder how this will turn out…? Should we inform…

"Let's go," Vali-sama said and followed after Lin Chong-sama.

After a few minutes of walking, Bikou-sama asked her, "Why do you guys want to form an alliance with Jin?"

"…Personally, I do not know, however, Lady Ningguang must have her reasons…we also have been having troubles lately and wish for his assistance," she explained but, "The 8 Divas, like many of the supernatural are curious about him, and wish to personally meet him ourselves."

Hehe, Jin-sama is really famous now, isn't he? Surely the match against the Devil Sairaorg Bael made him even more famous because it was streamed everywhere in the supernatural! But…

This reminded me of the time when we entered one of the German cities. We met with some of the authorities that were aware of the supernatural and we came across one of their power groups called 'The Hound Unit'. They were certainly strong for humans; their leader was at least Ultimate-class while the rest were High-class.

Those government officials involved in the supernatural also want to meet Jin-sama. It seems the country of Germany—the part that is involved with the supernatural wishes to make an alliance with Jin-sama. I wonder if I should inform Kuroka-sama?

"Heh, Aniki is like that after all." Vali-sama sounded proud when he said that.

However, Ling Chong-sama stopped and turned back to us. We were in front of a large but invisible wooden gate with an emerald-eyed dragon inscribed on it. "Beyond this gate, we will enter Nanzendu, our realm. The current main city is called Jiaochun."

And so…we entered the realm of Nanzendu after Ling Chong-sama pushed the doors open.
