Arathos Fortress, named after the great human emperor Arathos and once the capital city of the Empire of Arathos, has gradually declined as the Empire disintegrated. However, a skinny camel is still bigger than a horse. To this day, this city remains the most populous one in the Kingdom of Stromgarde, with a permanent population of three to four hundred thousand.
In comparison, Stromgarde City, the capital, has less than two hundred thousand inhabitants.
Due to its excellent geographical location, high walls, and defensibility, Stromgarde City serves as the capital and resembles more of a military fortress.
Meanwhile, Arathos Fortress is the commercial and economic center of the Kingdom of Stromgarde.
Yet now, this commercial city is inevitably engulfed in the flames of war.
