Chapter 63 - You’re Not Asking Nicely

"Are you sure your saddle fits well?" Bobby asked me as I sat down on the black saddle with golden features on his bedroom floor. They were about to go on their morning stroll with their horses and he was double, triple checking that I was happy with my saddle. 

"Yes Barbie," I looked up to him as I felt stress roll in. "You've asked me this almost twenty times."

"The saddle is one of the most important things. If it ain't comfortable you will most definitely feel it and so will your horse. You don't want to be saddle sore within the first few minutes of you riding," he squatted down so we were face to face, "I just want to make sure you're safe."

That stunted me for a second. People always saw me as the big strong man I am and no one ever really thought I could get hurt nor did they care about my safety often. Plus it was not like I was the most careful person either but it had been so long since someone expressed that they cared.
