His hands would not leave me alone as I tried to climb into the truck. Constantly he would plant kisses all over my face and I would be lying if I said I did not give into him.
"Dito," I laughed as he picked me up again so I could wrap my legs around his waist. "You're going to be late for work."
"It can wait. I'm not going to see you in a few hours," he pouted then brushed his nose against mine making me blush. "You know I'm getting some steak today. I know how much you love your steak."
"Benedito you can't hold me up inside your house again. It's been five days," I laughed before I gave him a kiss. "Ma and Clyde are going to think you're holding me hostage."
"I'm obsessed with you what can I say," seeing him genuinely smile always had my heart do funny things. It reminded me of a time when I won my first tournament in my teens. It felt like the world was brighter, the air smelt better and I could walk with a hop in my step.
