"I'm pregnant," it spilled out of my mouth before I could even process the words.
For a moment I thought the laptop screen was malfunctioning as both their heads seemed to twitch as thousands of emotions appeared on their faces.
"I'm not computing," Ma whispered as she was still trying to put the puzzle pieces together whilst Clyde seemed to be in a whole other universe.
"We found out a few months ago before my operation that I'm one of those people who can have a baby, then Benedito said he wanted a baby for Christmas but it came a bit earlier," I blurted out as I beamed.
"Did I not say it!" Clyde screamed.
"You said it!" Ma screamed as she immediately started sobbing. "I'm going to be a grandma. Bobby, I'm so happy for you."
"I can't even-" Clyde cried as well. For a few minutes I had no idea what they were saying as they animatedly spoke and waved around. "A baby is the greatest blessing in the world Billie. You and Benedito deserve it."
