The ocean! It's big and gorgeous. I'm surprised and really love how the waves sounds relaxing and therapeutic and new to me.
"Critesa, do you see how blue and wide the water is!" I said excitedly and removed my shoes.
Akeldama is there, watching me to play with water, and removed his shirt before joining me at the sea shore.
The sands, it's warm, and the water is cold. It's a good thing that I wear a small dress, not the big one.
"It's salty!" I whimp and Akeldama laugh softly.
"Of course, it's salt water, my queen." He gently hugged me behind and started to walk at the water with me, at the deep part. Akeldama lifted me and I just laugh around.
"It's amazing, I don't want to leave here!" I said excitedly and play around the water.
"Thank you, for showing me the ocean." I hugged Akeldama's back tightly and I feel his hand to my hands.
"Anything for my queen," he said gently. I never hear him raise his voice to me. Every time he saw me, his voice become softly and the way he look at me, it's like he's taking care of something that is very precious to his eyes.
"But you know, I have something in my mind." I started to walk at the shore, when he put me down and walk with me.
"What's inside your pretty mind?" Akeldama pinched my nose, and I pretend that I am mad, but it seems that he finds ne cute when I do it.
"I want to snatch my father's throne, become the first empress of Drivike, a woman without a emperor, just me." I kicked the sand and roll my eyes.
"What a silly idea from my silly mind." I looked at him when I said it, but he look surprised and amazed on what I just said.
"That's actually amazing, and I didn't even think of it, or possible. But since it's you who said that, I think it's possible, because of your capabilities." Akeldama hold my hand and kissed it.
"I'm always here to help you, take care of you and do anything that my queen wishes to, because I am your slave." He bit his lip after saying those words, I saw how his ears went red when he looked away.
"You really know how to make yourself present it to me proudly, can't you see. I am just a princess, a useless one." I tuck my hair to my ear and show my smile to him, a genuine smile.
"But sometimes, I wish I am nobody. I never want to have this title next to my name, I just want to be called Delaney, I feel that I am a normal person, not someone who's holding a big baggage at my back, as a princess." Akeldama kneel in front of me.
"At the day I saw you. I swore to my name and from the heavens above, I will severe you, conquer everything. Because I am meant to serve you, and be by your side no matter what. Treat me anything you want, I won't demand anything from you, just let me." His eyes, it's telling the truth to every words he just said right now.
Oh, how lovely the view it is. It seems that my other personality is alterning, loving every words that Akeldama is saying. It feels that I am powerful, I am holding the power within him.
"Why, I mean why you're dedicating yourself to someone like me, what I am to you?" I said and a strong breeze makes my hair covered my face.
I removed the hair to my face, and Akeldama is looking intensely to me now, like he want to say something that is very important.
"Because it's you," he just said casually and I laughed hard. I don't know why I laugh that way, but I saw that Akeldama's reaction, he looked surprised that I laughed that way.
"I'm just nobody, I wanna hear thay words again if ever I reach something that is worth dedicating with, but now. It's just a hollow words to me, it's like nothing. But I appreciate every actions and efforts that I am seeing. Do I deserve each of it?" I asked and he looked thorned now.
"I didn't expect that you have cruel side, how can I didn't anticipate it, you're still the daughter of the emeperor Divino." He pinched my nose and I get mad now.
I tried to catch him, but he's enjoying that I am catching him.
This scene, it's healing me slowly. The sound of waves, the peaceful place and away from the stress that I am avoiding.
"Her majesty, the food is ready!" Lady Critesa shouted. I stopped running around, and glare to Akeldama.
His face, it's drop dead gorgeous. How is it possible to have this kind of face, so gorgeous and the body that he has.
"Are you really sure that you're virgin?" I asked him, and his face turned red, look away and place his hand to his face. Hiding it from me.
"It's true, I dedicate my whole life at this." He showed his half smile and place his arms to my waist while walking.
"That's why I want to dedicate my whole life to you, because you're like an art. Only few peoples can appreciate how unique you are. Because only a few can see what is your real worth." Lady Critesa show used the table and it's my time to feel the heat at my face.
I know that my cheeks turn red now.
Is it true? I am unique, in what way? How is it possible that he see that I am unique, I don't even see if I am really that worth it.
"Always remember, I am here and will always be here for my queen." Akeldama said that before I started to eat. Lady Critesa is helping me to give my food.
Akeldama's POV
I make a bonfire, while watching the waves, Princess Delaney is sleeping peacefully at my lap and I caressed her silvery white hair.
She's like an piece of art in any angle. I can't help but to fall every time I see her.
How god create such a pretty dangerous face like her.
I remembered the first time I laid my eyes on her, she's like an angel at her room, looks sad and lifeless even she's moving.
I heard from my hometown, she's a cursed for unknown reason origin. The woman who's wearing an eye silk, the abandoned princess of Drivike empire.
Who wouldn't thought that she has a lot, it's just Delaney is stopping herself to grow and become better, because of her father.
All her life, she's being discriminated by her own father.
Left out and no one is around when she needed the help the most. That's why at the moment my eyes met her. My heart beats wildly.
I can tell that she needs me, her eyes asked for help and seeking for welfare.
I am capable of giving everything to her, even she ask me to bring the head of the most hated person, I will bring it to her. Will proudly show how loyal I am to her.
"You're a blessing to me. Delaney, you saved me when I needed it." I caressed her face and gently placed some protection to her, just incase that I am not around.
"I will have a long journey, after this, my queen. I will bid my goodbye to you. I know that he will take care of you, that's why I bring you here, near to his place." I said and still watching how Delaney is sleeping peacefully.
This red lips of her. She's like beyond perfection, and I am not surprise that a lot of men want her that bad, even the emeperor Blake. I know it, I see how he enjoy seeing my queen.
Too bad, he's dead now.
"I will miss the silky smooth skin that you have, and I know that when I am back after my long mission, you already achieve everything that you wanted, because you are capable of doing what you desired." I said and gently kissed Delaney.
She didn't move when I kissed her, but when I deepen the kiss, her arms wrapped around my nape, and break the kiss.
"Don't leave me," she said, it's like she's a kid who's stoping me to go.
"I won't, my queen." She smiled and continue to sleep.
My heart, it's heavy. Even I don't want to go. I want to stay beside her and be with her until the rest of my life. But this mission is important, for the sake of my own and for Delaney.
Once I am back, I am different from who I am now. I have to become strong, for Delaney and for my oath for the woman that I truly love.
I lift Delaney and transfer her to the tent, Lady Criseta is sleeping at the other tent.
I place the letter beside Delaney and get robe and my bag. Look at Delaney's pretty face once again.
"See you soon," I said before closing the tent and walk to the sands, went to the forest and see my men, waiting for me.
"Are you sure this place is under the protection of the Duke?" I asked them.
"Yes master, if we won't move quickly, he will find us out here."
We run faster when our presence is noticable, and I look behind me for the second time.
I don't know if that is Delaney that is standing there, or I just miss her.
