"Rest, even I healed your bruises, you still need to rest." Azriel said after he saw me walking around the garden at the moment I woke up.
I finally decided to walk around, and to move around. Because my wounds are all better, but he still insisting for me to have a break for a while.
"You don't have to worry, I am all good now, I just want to walk around, because after this break, that will be the beginning of my stressful life." I sniff the fresh rose and look at the other flowers at the garden.

"He's really nice, right?" I look around, and the Duke was there, maybe he's watching how Azriel talk with me, and I also noticed his bitter smile.
"Yeah, he really helped me too, at my mana, simple and basic magic, since he already confirmed that I don't use divine magic, and where is the origin of my mother." I walk near the Duke, and show that the bruises is all gone.
"He also healed me last night, when I am making some coffee. Because I am reading some history and medicinal books." It feels like my energy today is too much, also excited to what they are planning, because I know that they are all threatened, it's because of me.

"I can do it. That's my people, that is also my land. I already let it pass, when they disrespect you at my own land, but this false accusations?" I shook my head and hold the hand of Duke.
"Listen to me, they are commoner. You can't protect them once that they talked at the court, but you can protect them if they are not involved at the court," I explained, but the Duke still looked mad now.
"Come on, what ever the consequences is, I am ready with it. We just need to act carefully, as we need to calm down too." Duke Theron took a deep breath and nod, finally he listen to me, after he went mad.
"But after this, my errands at my mainland, we will have dinner tonight, is that okay?" I smile and answered yes.
I know that this will happened, I already anticipated this one. Because my sister is a fucking liar, second is she is such an attention seeker, and third. She want the Duke so bad.

"I will be back later, see you." The Duke said and walk out of the drawing room. I remain at sitting and gently close my eyes.
I know that screaming isn't the best idea to calm down, I just breath deeply and keep my eyes close.

After the Duke and I talked about what happened at his land, he decided to make a resolution, announcing our engagement after he finished at his errands to his main land, but now. I am alone at the Villa.
Taking a break and enjoying my alone time now.
I decide to wear something that I am comfortable, and take a dip at the secret lake that I found at the end of forest.
I bring some food and towel, and drinks also.
This place is relaxing, and I know that this is what I need, alone time so I can have peace before I depart to the capital, where the real battle will start.
It's a good thing that there is no monster here at the forest, just trees and sunlight.
A few herbals and flowers that looks amazing, I get some and will keep it at my adventure book.
When I finally reached the lake spot, I removed my shoes and my dress. The water is cold, and when I dipped ny body. I automatically squeak and enjoy the water.
I will definitely miss this place, when I stay at the capital.
"You shouldn't be here, your sister want you dead that bad." I looked behind me and there is Sir William. Holding a bouquet of flowers, a rosemaries and roses all together.
I smile sweetly and he sat where my things located.
"What are you doing here? How did you know that I am here?" I asked Sir William and he smile, watching me to play at the water.
"I'm here to check you, if you're alright after what your sister did to you." He looked worried and I just remembered that we feel similar now.
Like what my brother did to him, tried to set him up after his mission.
"Yeah, I know you feel right now, because of what my stupid brother did to you, but as you can see. I am fine, my bruises already healed." I showed my back and he looked even more surprised.
"How your bruises heal that fast?" He asked and looking at my body.
I can't tell him that the great sage helped me to heal of those bruises that I got yesterday.

"But at least you're all good now, and I am also guarding you until you are safe to your journey at the capital." He put down some food and it makes me hungry now. Some of my favorites.
"Let's catch up a little, I wanna hear some updates from you, it's been a long months that we haven't see each other." I get out of the water and he gave me the towel and helped me to sit down comfortably.
"This is raspberry juice, with fried potatoes that I brought at the land of Duke Theron." He offered it and I eat each of the foods that Sir William brought.
"They are all good." I said and drink some juice.
"At the capital, the news is already spread like a wild fire. That you are alive, and fiance of the Duke Theron, is that true?" I nod and sir William just nod too.
He looks like he want to ask more questions, but waiting for me to chew the foods that I am eating now.
"But the news that I tried to stab Princess Hannah, and I am the one who hurt her, that's not true, there is no truth about it, because Princess Hannah was the one who tried to kill me at the land of Duke Theron, I never hurt her back, after all things that she done." I chew another fried potatoes and dip it at some sauce.
"You will went into trial, and I heard that they are planning to whipped you, but I didn't hear the exact punishment that the empress is setting up." I rolled my eyes and laugh sarcastically. She always did this, trying to prove to her people that she's useful.
The empress is like an a display to the empire. Do nothing, just sit and playing the position at the nobility.
Not all empress are the same, but empress Yaneza is like a doll beside the emperor.
She is like a toy of the nobles, but she's aware of it.
"The empress must up to something, so be careful. No matter what happen, stay a live. I know that I told you before. I will do anything to help you, just ask me anything once that you are at the empire, and I will do what I can." Sir William bite some fried potatoes and eat with me.
I appreciate his kindness, how much effort he make, just to show that he is giving back the kindness that I did before.

"I also thought about it, because it's really impossible that there is a specific person that is not affected by that ability?" I look at the sky and smile.
"You know, I noticed that if the people who is looking to my eyes, who has a good intention to me, they didn't get affected, but if the people tried to harm me or has bad intentions to me, they got under the effect of this curse." He smile widely and patted my head.
"Then, that is really not a curse, an ability for sure." Sir William showing his biggest smile.
I didn't know that he has this side, jolly one and lively personality.
"I'll check something, just stay here and I will be back." I nod and start eating some fries potatoes, again.
This food is great, I will definitely ask for this delicacy to Duke Theron.
William's POV
I am walking at the part where I feel some presences. I feel it when I am with Princess Delaney.
That might be a spy and I need to kill that before it reaches the Emperor.
I didn't hesitate to withdraw my sword and I stoped when a man is standing beside the big oak tree.
"You're good at guarding and sensing people around." I put down my sword and bow my head.
"You don't have to bow your head, thank you for entertaining my wife." I don't know if the Duke emphasize the wife or it's just my imagination.
"Princess Delaney is a good friend of mine, I owe her my life, because if she didn't found me, I am dead now." He looked surprised and nod on what I said.
"I know, Delaney is really a nice person, that most of people misunderstood it, just don't do something that you might regret or might ruin your friendship with my wife." The Duke said and turn his back.
"I will get some fried potatoes now, I saw how my wife love what you bring to her." I nod and watch him walk away.
