Akeno found herself wandering the school grounds as weekend clubs were wrapping up and everyone was heading home. She hears her name as a tall man runs towards her, she turns around and finds Rodney sliding to slow himself down. "Where did you go?" Rodney asks as he pants for breath. "For a fallen angel king you'd think you'd be in more shape" she says almost sarcastically as she smugly smirks. "I was looking all over the city! All day dammit. That's a lot of ground to cover!" Akeno turns her head and sees Rodney resting on a bench. She darts over to him at super speed. She stood over Rodney as a gust of wind blasts everyone around them. Rodney looks up with a grin. "So you finally stopped running" he says before looking back at the ground. Akeno looks around nervously before sitting onto the bench next to Rodney.
"I'm not sure why I felt the need to run. I guess I just wanted to fly" Akeno said as takes a seat next to Rodney. She turns around and looks into his soft and gentle eyes. She feels herself tearing up before she leaps over and hugs him. "Oh Rodney, it won't leave me alone! I feel like no one believes me when I say this, but something else is always watching me! I thought being alone would help and that's why I ran, but it's like it wants me to be constantly alone! I'm scared Rodney! I'm-" Rodney wraps his arms around Akeno before she can finish. He squeezes her tightly as his crystal wings spread and wrap around her, turning into soft angel wings to dry her tears like tissues. She sees a man with gentle warm eyes while The Demon Within her sees a hunter spying on its prey, ready to eat it for dinner. Fierce fiery red eyes ready to burn its food, cook it and consume it for fuel so it can inflict this pain on others of its kind. "I'm here Akeno," Rodney says as he holds her arm. "I've seen this before" he thought. Akeno nods as she finds herself crying into Rodney's chest. His soft red wings wipe her tears as the two sit on the bench for hours, just enjoying each other as the sun starts to set on the horizon.
"Hello Issei"
The goddess said as she flexed her body like a cat, stretching it in every way she possibly could.
Issei stares back at her as Rias finds herself getting messaged by the shoulders from another spirit. "Hey what the?" She asks as a man with long black hair and tan skin creeps up behind her. "Hello Rias," he said coldly. Rias looks around in a panic at Issei, whose gaze was away from her. "Issei?!" She yells as she tries to use her magic, but the man casts a curse on her and starts to hug her as she winces. A fog rolls in, emitting a sweet yet foul smell. "Calm down my dear, I just wanna talk" The man says as he raises a finger. Issei looks back for a split moment as the putrid oder violated his senses.
"HEY CUT IT OUT!" The woman wraps her arms around his chest as her red eyes glow. Her long black hair wraps around his neck as she smiles and licks her lips. She wore jewelry around her underwear and bandages for a bra, but other than that she was practically naked. She sweats as Issei tries to escape her grapple, but to no avail.
"Oh Issei, you know you want this. You can't resist me" she said as she wiped some sweat off her dark tan skin. Issei finds himself sweating too as he starts to find his flesh taking over, wanting him to crave for this mysterious woman. "ISSEI!" "Rias yells as the man strokes Rias with his finger. He looks at her, realizing that she was not under the same cardinal desire he was. With this realization he panics. "Rias?" He asks as he finds himself struggling to escape the cat girl who had him bound in seduction. She stretches around like a cat, showing off each inch of her tan light skin. Issei's eyes glow pink as he breathes in the fog. "Come here Issei, come play with me" the words began to captivate Issei as he resisted turning his head over to her. His eyes glance at Rias as the other entity begins to get rough with Rias. "RIAS!" he yells as he begins to violently move towards them. However, something stops him in his tracks. He looks back to find the goddess licking her lips as she lets go of him and stretches her body like a cat. Her cat-like ears are now noticeable as they move around. "Come and kiss me, caress me, lick me, I'm all yours."
Her voice was alluring, lustful, her red eyes hypnotizing, and her sweaty skin almost appealing. But as Issei took a step towards Rias, who falls to the ground letting out a whimper of pain. Issei turns around and watches the man on top of Rias rubbing his finger over Rias's buttons in her school uniform. "Please, just leave me alone!" An odd sentence for someone once mighty as Rias.This was Issei's first thought as he took another step towards her. The man then looks at Issei as the world around him turns a void black. "Not one more inch," he spoke. "Such beauty does not belong to a mortal. She is a prize up for grabs." Issei's knuckles turned white as he clenched his fists. "He recalls once more his terror of facing Riser, only to look into Rias's eyes and recall her own terror of her downgraded divinity. Then it hits him, this nightmare is unfolding once more. He feels his palms sweat as he activates his ability.
"Issei NOOOOOOOOOOO!" The goddess roars as Issei lifts up his gauntlet. He then swings it at Rias's attacker, who lands on the ground with blood gushing from his nose. Issei slides towards Rias and wraps her in his arms. He then looks back at the goddess as she leaps onto the two of them like a charging cougar. Rias roars as she uses her magic to send the spirit flying back, striking a bolt through its stomach region. The others joined the two spirits and flew around the couple as they fended them off one by one. Issei and Rias saw the god who took Rias as a hostage and stared him down as he returned to his coffin. "Be warned, your god Issei will be destroyed by our hands." Issei smirks as he charges up his gauntlet. "Then I'll be the only god left to fear"
The two gods looked at each other, then back at Issei with rage. "Anti-Christ" the god muttered in fear before losing his head to Issei's blast. The goddess screams with utter horror as she tries to summon a spear to throw at Issei. She coughs up blood, realizing fragments of her lover's skull struck her wound. Issei stared them down as he held Rias close to his chest. Then all was calm as the last of the spirits were loaded into the moving trucks and all returned to normal, as if nothing happened. Issei and Rias saw two exhibit slabs slide towards them, they picked up their respective god and goddess.
"Ew" Rias says with disgust before dropping hers. "So that's the Egyptian tribe, huh?" Issei asks as Rias reads his slab. She pauses for a moment, unable to speak as she feels her eyes well up with tears. She rubs them, and resumes to her business.
"Huh, I picked up the wrong slab" Rias says as she looks over to see the broken one that she dropped. Issei then looks at his slab that he handed Rias as she hands it back to him. He reads the word early fertility over a carved image of a man. He then looks over to Rias whose demeanor was rather docile. Issei walks over, grabs her hand and embraces her. "I'm here now" he said softly as she melted into his arms. He looks back upon the blood of the fallen gods and furrows his eyes. "I don't care about anything else" Issei says as Rias raises her head to look up at him. "I know you've been mad at me about taking over the club" Issei says with tears dripping down his cheek. "I know you've been wanting to say something but can't with everything that's hit you. I know Rias. I'm so sorry that I've been part of the problem."
Rias sniffles as she looks over to the spot where her assaulter once stood. She lets out a cry as Issei pulls her closer to his chest. "I really did want you Issei" Rias says softly. "All I ever saw in you was what I've wanted out of someone. It's like I'm being punished for it, even by you." Issei sighs as he raises Rias's face up. "All of this, all I am doing, and all that I will do, it's for us, for you." Rias looks away from Issei.
"Please don't lie to me" Rias says with defeat in her tone. "I'm not, I promise" Issei says gently. "You mean it?" Rias asks as she looks up with a glimmer of hope in her eyes. She feels Issei's gentle hand caress her cheek. "When this is all over, we won't be anything but Mr. and Mrs. Hyoudou. No devils or angels, no God or Satan. Just you and me with a nice green yard and a white picket fence. Rias, I love you. I'm not leaving this ordeal without you." Rias smiles as Issei wipes the tears off her face, she chuckles. "How are you going to get that done?" she asks.
"All gods will die, all life that's not physical will die, this I make my vow"
Later that night everyone returned to their respective homes. Asia was fast asleep in her room as Issei set Rias down onto the bed. She looks up at him as Issei stares down at her droopy lips, but as he reflects back to what happened today he just instead averts his eyes away and gets under the covers. "Issei?" Rias asks, but as Issei crawls over her he notices her eyes are shut tight. "She's sleep talking?" He asks himself as he gets under the covers and wraps his arms around her, falling asleep by her side as she tosses and turns. "What's she thinking about?" Issei thought to himself bitterly as he crawled closer to her in bed.
"I'm sorry. I didn't mean it like that!" Rias says as she found herself looking around to see her parents, her brother and sister in law, and then behind them all was Issei himself. "You wanted to buy him? You'd go that far to ditch the Phenix clan?" Rias's father asks. "No, no I was scared! I was a scared little girl! Dad please just-"
"ENOUGH!"
Rias found herself falling to the ground as her whole family just stared at her angrily. She tries to get up but Issei emerges from the crowd. "You were supposed to marry Riser. To save your people! I would have been happy with Raynare, but you were selfish!" Rias kept cowering on the ground as Issei charged a laser at her. "Issei please! I'll take it back! I'll do anything for you!" Rias heard her own echoes as she looked around the void that she was trapped inside. "ENOUGH!" Issei said as he was about to strike her. Rias's family feeds into his negative energy.
"You're a disgrace!"
Her mother yelled.
"You're not our real daughter!"
The father yelled.
YOU'RE A YANDERE WITH MENTAL ILLNESS!
Issei yelled. Rias found herself in tears when suddenly Issei was stopped. Rias looks up and sees another Issei, this one much brighter in color breaking the other Issei's hand. He looks around with panic and desperation as the family all begin to charge at him. He then looks back at Rias. "I'm sorry!" he yelled before making them all vanish into ashes with his gauntlet. The other Issei remained, staring his more angelic self down with anger.
"SHE WAS SELFISH! SHE RUINED OUR LIVES! SHE MADE THAT ANGEL HATE US!" Issei laughed as he grabbed his clone by the throat. "You really think a fallen angel loved us?" Issei asked as he lifted his other self off the ground. He saw his evil version cry as he himself smiled. "Like a devil ever would instead" he says as the words struggle to escape. "It doesn't matter if she did or didn't. You're no better!" Issei said as his evil clone struggles to escape his grasp. "I don't know why you're in here or trying so desperately to twist her mind, her thoughts. I thought I was fair game?!" The evil Issei suddenly grabs real Issei's arm. "HOW WOULD YOU KNOW!" He roars as his fangs poke his cheeks. Issei just laughs as he squeezes around his clone's neck, causing him to shed tears from the sheer pain. "I don't know, but we'll find out together. And if worst comes to worst-"
Issei then turns his clone into ashes as he walks over and holds his hand out for Rias. She wipes her tears and grabs it. The two stood alone in an empty void holding hands as a gust of wind blew by. Rias just looks at Issei with tears in her eyes as he looks back at her with a gentle smile and look in his eyes. "How are you here?" Rias asks. "Where?" Issei asked back. "In my head. This is a dream, a nightmare. I've been having these on and off" Rias responds. "You're talking in your sleep, and not in a calm way," Issei spoke. "I'm not entirely sure what powers I'm limited to, but so far I can do a lot more th-"
She then grabs him and pulls him in for a hug, causing him to wake up to the touch of her chest in bed. Her eyes open, exposing those blue pupils of hers as they stare into Issei's earthy brown eyes. "You sure talk a lot" Rias says as her first words awake. The sun shone into the room as the two lied together naked under the sheets. "Morning miss mumble" Issei says jokingly as Rias pecks his forehead. She then glances over to the alarm clock.
Knock knock knock!
"Issei, we're almost late for the bus!"
A frantic rush ensues as Issei and Rias scramble to put on their school uniforms. Rias runs out the door, snatching Asia as Issei grabs a banana and books it towards the door. He looks back at his parents and smiles, waving as he yelled "Love you!"
"No problem son" His dad says as the two watch the three all walk down the street chasing the bus. His father looks back at his wife and shrugs. "Hey honey, you don't think those three are you know?" The father asks as he looks at the mother. The mother rolls his eyes and walks away. "Nothing we haven't done."
"Dammit!" Rias yells as the three miss their bus. "We were late again. We gotta work on our waking up skills." She says looking at Issei. He blushes as he looks down at the ground. Asia the whole time tries not to feel jealous as Rias looks around to see that they're in a broken down neighborhood. "Crap, I know this place" Issei says as he gets Rias and Asia close to him. "What do you mean?" Asia asks nervously. "We're in the Financial District, four private high school districts full of wealth all entrap the poorest district of the area. A bunch of rich kids who rival each other, and we're caught in no mans land." Rias looks around to see if there's a quicker route to school. The three all ran with no correlation on their coordinates, and now are somewhat lost. "Nothing, dammit!" Rias then gets the group unlost as she uses her powers to find directions. "Alright, follow me."
As the group of three all walk down the main street they notice that the block the school is in starts to look deserted and empty. School kids hung around clinking glass bottles together as they stood on broken cars. The buildings were all overgrown with vines and the kids themselves were armed with weapons from baseball bats to tire irons. Some even had home made modifications, making them more dangerous. "Stay close to me" Issei said as he grabbed both of them with his arms and created his gauntlet. "Oh my look what we have here?" A boy yells with a cocky smile, jumping from a car with a sledge hammer as more kids circle around them. "Don't make me call the police" Issei warns as he feels his teeth grow like a predators in the wild. "You're all in their system. I'm sure they'll get right to work with ya" Issei threatens.
"Or maybe I'll just do that myself." He says as his gauntlet glows green. "Ohhhhhhh, you're so scawy!" The leader says as he swings his sledgehammer around. "What kind of man brings his women to war with him? What district are you from?" The boy asks as he drags his hammer against the asphalt. "It doesn't matter, you rich assheads won't be pushing us around today!"
Suddenly Issei drops him to the ground. Asia and Rias watch in awe as they back away from the unfolding conflict. "That God forsaken bus left us behind. GODDAMMIT!" Issei roars the last word out as he twists the arm of his opponent. He then looks back bitterly as he takes a punch from another kid rushing towards him. Falling back, he blocks a few more as he finds himself kicking and punching back. The group of delinquents begin to raise their arms up and group around Issei as he rises from the ground when suddenly, several gunshots ring through the air. The kids including the gang leader all flee, their dirty brown uniforms making them look like roaches scattering once a pile of clothes that hides them is moved.
"Sheesh" Motohama said as he put his gun away. "You guys alright?" Matsuda asked as the two girls watched Issei get up. "I'm fine now. Where did you two come from? How did you know where to find us?" Issei asks as the two agents walk over to the group. "We're doing an investigation within this school district. They're saying that the reason why the Financial district is doing so badly is because it's cursed to act as a source of wealth for the surrounding blocks as a sort of sacrifice. We heard the commotion and recognized your voices" Motohama explained. "Pft!" Issei says as Asia and Rias look at each other strangely. "A sacrifice? I think the word your looking for is socioeconomics" Issei jokes. "I'm totally with you," Matsuda adds as Rias looks at Asia with guilt for a slight moment.
"We can only hope this is a case of Greasers vs Socs" Motohama expresses as the five begin to walk outside of the district and back on route to their school. "Everytime we enter this district to investigate, our cover is always in jeopardy. I'm not sure how else to go about this" Matsuda says, looking at Issei. "You boys better not ask me to ditch class over this. I think you're problem here isn't them, but just poverty and crime"
"Tell our sergeant that" Motohama says frustrated. "How did they let you two work together on everything? There's no way that slides with every new recruit" Issei asks. "No it doesn't. We had to prove ourselves over at the campsite. Dispatching a huge amount of demons, even if they're low tier, allows you to have a little more agency with your work."
The dismissal bell for first period rings, letting them know they're late for class and need to start rushing. "See you guys around!" Asia yells as they all split ways and head to class. As Issei makes it to his seat in English Rias finds herself in the back next to her more human friends. "Hey Issei!" Genshiro said, sitting right next to him. "Hey, what's good?" Issei asked as he fixed his red tie. "I see you're wearing a more traditional uniform," Genshiro commented. "So what if I am?" Issei asked. "They say those that switch to it are metamorphosing, changing, allowing the schools values to inspire a man to-" Issei chuckles. "It's not the school that's made me this way" Issei said calmly.
"So what kind of journey are you on?" Genshiro asks as he sits back in his seat. Issei however did not acknowledge Genshiro's question. The teacher walks in and begins the lecture. Halfway through the lecture, Issei leans over to Genshiro. "Hey, how's Sona taking all of this?" Issei asks him. "Oh, her? Yeah, this has been quite tough on her. One moment she thought she'd have the power of a sea monster, next minute I'm consoling her cause her parents decided to stay with the demons." Genshiro says as he sighs, leaning back against his chair. "I'm consoling a girl whose entire family decided to remain slaves, and shamed her for not doing the same."
"Not sure if they had much of a choice," Issei adds. "Rias had a choice, Sona had a choice. We all have a choice Issei" Genshiro takes a moment and leans back in his chair. He looks outside with a dull glare, a dazed look of annoyance and pity.
"These people have been raised to think they're demons, and their parents were too and then their parents and so on. It was passed down for thousands of years. It's insane since it's so obvious, this whole scheme was, yet they were so blind they couldn't see past whatever blind fold they have on. It's generational trauma or conditioning of some kind." Issei says as he looks at his phone. "Yeah well, I just wish that I could help Sona more, but I'm literally unable to. She wants more alone time than ever. I just feel bad I guess. I miss her."
Issei takes a deep breath and sighs as he gazes upon his friend. "Wish I could help" he thought as he empathized with his companion. "Issei" Genshiro says calmly, turning his head to Issei. He looks directly at him and says "Hey Issei, you ever think that our math teacher is uh, kind of weird?" Issei looks at Genshiro strangely. "Yeah, but why do you think that?" Genshiro takes out his phone to show Issei some texts from Sona.
"What the hell?" Issei asks, examining Genshiro's phone. He then puts his phone away. "She's been moved out of the class by the guidance office. He hasn't been very good at hiding his feelings and thoughts about the girls in our class. I'd stay close to Rias in this room. It's not like we can use our powers or else the PSD will come in and screw us all over." The bell rings and Issei watches his friends leave the class. He walks to the next several classes alone, each time loosening his tie as he felt dread in his heart., reflecting upon Genshiro's words. And then came the final period, Issei took his seat. He looks around and sees everyone writing down notes as rain starts to pour down, dribbling on the window. Gray skies loomed over the planet as Issei broke his pencil. He stops taking notes as the bell rings, he closes his notebook which had scribbled on each line Motohama and Matsuda's favorite song. As he read the lines, his mind began to spiral as he once more relived the nightmare that was his brawl with Riser.

Panic, more panic began to fill him as Issei found the words of the song jumbled up in his mind. "I can't do this" he thought as tears burst from his eyes. "This whole thing is just one big fucking nightmare" he spoke as he clentches his stomach. "I wish I never met her." Issei returns to class as his heart begins to settle down. He looks down at his notebook with guilt, flipping to the next page. More lyrics, more thoughts racing, Raynare began to replace Rias in his mind as he continued to regret meeting her.

"ISSEI!" The teacher yells. Issei wakes up as he looks around the classroom to see people smirking and giggling. He sighs, then looks back out at the buildings in repair. "Pay attention!" The bell dismisses everyone. Issei walks out of the classroom as people pass by him. "What am I going to do next, Rodney and Akeno are seniors, and so is Rias" he thought as despair began to wash over him. "Lord, why does life have to suck?" He says as he finds himself clenching his fists. "Please, stop." Issei's eyes widen as the school empties out. The sun clears the sky and Issei turns around with rage in his heart as he leans against the door, seeing the silhouette of holiness himself while hearing the words of Rias echo throughout the empty halls.
"Oh you want me to stop? Just use your powers, have daddy come in and save you!"
Issei looked at The Lord with rage built into his heart. "You're right where I want you" he spoke to Issei. "Issei looked at Jesus, whose eyes glowed green. "What's going on?" he asked as he walked over to another classroom.
"Oh that's right! YOU'RE NO LONGER A DEVIL! You don't rule this world anymore!" The math teacher says as he gets closer to Rias with his hands sliding up her thighs. "Please don't make me do this" Rias thought to herself. Her eyes collect water as the teacher then breaks a desk. She raises her hand, but hesitates as it shakes. "Keep your hands behind your back!" He orders as he reveals a fallen angel tattoo on his arm.
"You're part of that militia?" Rias asks as the man loads a gun and puts it on his thigh. "You never know what these devils are capable of. Yes I am. You ruined our plan to take over and spread our law all over the world!" Rias looks up at the human in terror. "This is what we've done to them…" she thought. "Oh God, what kind of monsters are we?" Rias asks herself as she tries to make a run for it, but the teacher grabs her and throws her into his desk, breaking it as Rias's eyes glow blue. The teacher laughs as Issei's eyes glow green. He creaks the door open as his tie loosens completely.
"I lost everything. I lost my family, I lost my title, my power, I'm helpless now! MAKE IT STOP!" She then holds her head as she aims her hand towards the Mercenary, she pauses as she sees Issei's silhouette appear behind the teacher. "Uh uh uh, I wouldn't do that, you don't want them to find out what you really are do you-"
Suddenly, Issei charges him and slams the man into the ground. "WHAT THE?!" The teacher yells as Rias watches Issei yell desperately, slamming his body into the man. Disarming him as he pins the man on his back. Rias watches as her whole world is brought back. The teacher struggles to escape as Issei grinds his teeth and holds the man by the arm. "He was right," Issei thought to himself bitterly, feeling his teeth grind with blood as he shredded them, only for them to regrow. Issei then breaks the teacher's arm. Rias watches in fear as Issei gets back up and looks at her. "Wait outside for me!" he orders. Rias nods her head and does so, feeling shame as the former head of a household, now just the damsel in distress. The victim of unjust evil that she hated so much in this world. The evil she unknowingly caused.
"You sick fuck, this is real isn't it?" Issei asked, scared as he continued to wrestle with the teacher. He throws a punch, then a second one. The man coughs several times as Issei holds his arm out and charges up a laser. "How did you know about her origin?" Issei asked. The teacher rolls over with blood coming out of his mouth. He smiles sinisterly. "No, you can't kill me. You'll throw your whole future away!" The man said as he looked up smiling while blood dripped from his lips. "I run this school now" Issei said confidently as the teacher's eyes widened. He looks back to see a white silhouette weeping. In terror, he looks back up at Issei. "NO PLEASE! I DON'T WANT TO BE-"
BAM! Rias watches in utter shock as the teacher's head turns into pieces. Issei stood over the corpse with blood all over his face. He closes his eyes as he then stands up. He wipes off his sleeves as he looks down from the body. He then looks back to Rias as tears begin to drip from his eyes. Rias stands up and looks at Issei with trembling fear.
"For what it's worth, me taking over saved your soul darling" Issei says as he looks down at the body. "I've become the new Lucifer." Issei looks at her, then at the body, and finds himself shaking. "I'm so sorry" he says as Rias runs up to him and embraces him. "Don't say you're Lucifer my love" Rias says softly as she tightens her hug. Behind Issei, the Lord wept over the teacher's body.
"This is not what we discussed outside. I needed you Issei" Jesus spoke. "Well you knew the outcome, you knew what I was going to do." Jesus looks up at Issei, who holds Rias tightly in his arms. "I know, that's what pains me the most" Jesus said calmly, but with sadness and bitterness.
"Well man up, if you want to sit here and feel sorry for this sack of shit you can do that on your own time. We're at war with a twisted race of angels." Issei bit back. "NO YOU ARE!" He commanded with a roar. "You are at war because you're afraid to trust me! I've already won the war! I rose from the dead! I'm here now!"
"You were outside the hallway while I killed a rapist. I'm the one doing all the work here!" Issei shouted. "I guided you here to rough him up! To comfort the woman you love! I am the redeemer of all!"
Issei begins to escort Rias out of the room with his arm around her back as they continue to head towards the door. "Reedeem this!" he yells as he holds up a middle finger with his gauntlet.
"You serpent! You VIPER! ISSEI, you knew what I wanted and did what you willed anyway! How do you think this will go?! Do you really think you can wage a war against everyone and win without my help?! Who do you count on when everyone you know is gone?! Who will be by your side when the flames of hell drag you down and consume you with evil?! How can you escape their grasp and heat?! HOW WILL YOU ESCAPE BEING CONDEMNED TO HELL?!"
