Ghosthand had used all his strength to cast the Abyssal palm which was normally beyond his ability and was currently in a weakened state. He was so weak that he was barely able to remain standing. As for fighting, he already lost all hope. Even a random tier 3 King can effortlessly take him down talk less of the mighty tier 4 Emperors around and Xuanyuan who could counter the Abyssal palm!
But before anyone could say a word, Ghosthand hurriedly fished out a teleportation scroll in his hand and tried to flee. So long as he can leave this place in one piece, there's still a chance of survival.
Just as he expected to teleport away from the battlefield, he suddenly discovered that the scroll remained dormant no matter how he tried to activate it.
