When they arrived at the courtyard Zhang Yuan mentioned, they discovered it was a large red-brick tile-roofed house, with three-room side wings on both the east and west sides. The courtyard was surrounded by high red-brick walls, and the gate was a big iron door! You couldn't see anything inside from the outside.
No wonder Zhang Yuan said it was hidden here.
