We landed in Port Ormos as soon as we approached with the ship's occupants being silent as copies of my own ships that Dori had obviously sold to the Sumerian God's and forces back then escorted my own ship towards a landing spot.
And as we landed down there, I had a wry expression as standing calmly just outside the landing point was the two main goddesses of the land of Sumeru if you didn't include the more warlike gods that held sway in the desert.
Lord Rukkhadevata and her clone/daughter Kusanali/Nahida to her people whom she considered friends and people with great potential. "Ladies, its an honor to meet you both." I said with a wry smile.
Rukkhadevata herself gave a soft chuckle before she raised a hand and said calmly. "Be at ease Jake Bariss, you are free to leave whenever you desire. I just wanted to take your measure personally."
Her eyes washed over my own form alongside my companions before she hummed and said slowly. "It's quite... Interesting, whether it be youkai, adepti, and even gods themselves. Their dreams and minds can at least be read on a surface level to us both. But your mind is a mess of thoughts and concepts we simply cannot make out."
I could feel my companion's getting agitated at Rukkhadevata's calm delivery into looking into their minds so I got their attention as I did the best thing possible to make them chill out... Offend the goddess in front of me.
"Sounds like a skill issue Lord Rukkhadevata, you simply do not understand the basis of my thoughts and the inventions I have in mind for the future." I said bluntly and despite Rukkhadevata being a kind goddess even her eyebrow twitched as she looked back at me.
Kusanali coughed and then said with a small smile. "In either case Jake, Keqing, we are both glad you got out of that toxic environment in Liyue. But I understand you want to get home as soon as possible, so we wanted to make an offer to make your return as painless as possible."
For a moment I thought she meant that as a threat but the younger but still very much an adult and fully grown beautiful silver-haired goddess in Kusanali continued. "I will personally escort you directly to the port of Liyue. And in return, I wish for you to deliver a single spirit stone to me for services rendered."
I blinked as I considered what she meant before I realized she wanted the spirit stone in order to say that we didn't owe her anything for the favor officially at least. But after a moment of thought, I shrugged and said. "Alright, that's fine. But seeing as you both are willing to be such good hosts how about we do some trading?"
Rukkhadevata raised an eyebrow obviously curious as to why I wasn't trying to flee back to 'safety' in Liyue. But I said calmly. "Rukkhadevata, I am sure you have ways to communicate with Lady Cloud Retainer or Lord Morax, I would appreciate it if you sent a message to them that will reach them in the next half an hour or something that will tell them we are here."
I took a breath and then continued. "In return for that favor, I am willing to spend the next half and hour... Spending probably two hundred thousand spirit stones on the Sumeru centric treasures, herbs, ore's, martial arts, and cultivation manuals."
There was a pause as Rukkhadevata tilted her head to the side and said in amusement. "You would spend the money here either way Jake Bariss? I do not see where I myself profit from this especially when a divine messager seal is very expensive itself."
I nodded and then took out a large bunder of papers. "I am aware, though I was about to say that you could spin that as yourself encouraging us visitors to grace the merchants of the land. But here is several blueprints for several projectile weapons and explosives that I been making in Liyue."
The blueprints weren't anything too special as they were just the oversized AA4 equivalents that shot oversized shotgun rounds filled with a variety of loads from anything to slugs, to burning magnesium shot, to more special rounds that had spirit stones integrated into them.
The bigger draw was the mortar system I had in there with a variety of blueprints for various explosive types and my own plans for mortars that had seals, glyphs, and spirit stones embedded in them so they would explode with a variety of special effects.
"I assume you ladies have been... Pouring over my technology in the lesser Titans, and the Pelicans that you both seem to be enjoying so much." I noted seeing the Sumeru-style hieroglyph style magic runes and glyphs they used that were covering the Pelicans they had modified.
Rukkhadevata and Kusanali shared a long silent look with myself thinking. 'They are sharing a silent conversation with their conjoined minds...'
Then the two goddesses nodded and Kusanali smiled as she took out a glowing golden small slate that she whispered something into before it flew off, zipping away out of the city at blinding speed as it flew out towards the ocean.
"There Jake, I sent a message directly to Morax who is rather irate right now... And having broken Ei and Makoto's weapons." She said with myself pausing at that.
"Wait you are doing that dreamwalk or mind reading on them right now aren't you?" I asked flatly with the two goddesses giggling shamelessly.
I shook my head and took a deep breath as I passed over the packet of information to Kusanali who instantly put it away into a spatial pocket she had somewhere on her body as she wasn't wearing any spatial rings.
