As the group tried to search the house. An elderly man got upset. He yelled at the group from outside.
"Get out of my house, otherwise I'll contact the Sects to come capture you all." The man was currently stressed.
"Oh really." Liz spoke near a window and she jumped down in front of the man.
He was startled because he knew that this was either Iris or Liz searching his house due to her beauty.
"Can...I...he?" He got cut off by Liz grabbing his throat.
"Do you know who got the paint for the fence Quest ten years ago?" Her words sank deep into him.
He never would have thought that the day would come that he would face trouble from the Sects.
"Yes." He nodded.
Liz sat him down and gestured for him to enter the house. Sweat rolled down the man's neck, his feet already drenched from Liz landing in front of him, and his ass was nearly ready to sweat as well.
The duo sat down in the living room. Liz on the couch, the man on the floor and then Liz called the others back down.
Before she began to speak or allow him to. She wanted witnesses to know what he said and to confirm what he said.
"Now, you will only answer my questions and promptly to. Otherwise, we are taking something important away from you and keeping you alive." Liz's tone changed drastically at the end.
The man knew that this was Liz the daughter of Demon. He hoped to the Goddesses that he would live through the afternoon.
"First question: How was the paint supposed to be delivered?" Liz asked.
"In a weird shaped bottle. It was supposed to be easier to paint on the fence." He answered.
"What was the paint delivered in?" Liz asked.
"A bottle that I have upstairs." He answered.
"Take Alice and Chiryousha with you upstairs. If he attempts to harm either one of you, bust his balls and break one knee." Liz told them.
The man knew that he could not overpower the trio but he should have been able to do one of them. Hearing what Liz told the maids, he decided not to. Whatever punishment he got, he got.
"Follow me please." The man spoke.
The trio walked upstairs. He went into a cupboard and pulled out three different bottles. The first one was a slim bottle which looked similar to a wine bottle but it had the poison around the neck of the bottle.
The second one looked more like a mug with a top on it. This one was the bottle that the paint got mixed in and could be delivered in.
The third one looked like a square whiskey bottle. Paint could be mixed and delivered in this one as well but it was not near enough as the mug.
The trio walked back down each one carrying a bottle. When each one was delivered to Liz, she could already smell poison on the slim bottle.
"Why does this bottle smell poisonous?" Liz asked.
"Some people like the paint to have a little poison in it to help keep lower ranked beasts away. It also is used to keep livestock protected. Of course, flying beasts do not get scared of a fence but it helps negate the amount of beasts targeting the livestock." He spoke.
"Was poison ordered for the fence for the Sects?" She asked.
"From what I remember, I believe it was not. I have records of every sale." He responded.
"Good. Take the duo again and hand the records. Make sure it is for the fence." Liz once again spoke.
The trio walked into an study. He went back ten years in records easily. When he pulled out the papers to make sure that the Sects did not want poison. He found that there were two orders for the fence actually.
One suggested a low amount of poison while the other did not. He was surprised to see the one with the poison. He never knew about that order.
When the trio made it back, he felt like death was looming over him currently. When Liz saw the orders, she was stunned. How was she supposed to know who ordered the poison?
"Madam Liz, at the time I had ten people helping me. Two of them were taking orders. All that I can hope for is that either one of them wrote down wrong that poison was supposed to be used." He spoke.
Liz looked at the man like he had grown a third eye. Of course, the trio went to gather the papers of who all was working at there at the time.
She found that the two members who were working aa receptionists were receptionists in the Sects. She decided to take a little detour before she made a final judgment. Of course, she made sure that the man could no longer feel his middle leg before she left as a warning to what would happen if he spills any beans about what she was doing.
He cried that entire afternoon as his middle leg was no longer attached but burned off completely.
As for Liz and the duo, they entered the Good Sect to see what actually happened in the store so many years ago. She hoped that this was a miscalculation on her part.
She felt that the Good Sect would help her solve this case even if it meant burning people alive over here.
