Leaving the Good Sect, the group slowly made their way over to the other Sect. Of course, Iris and Liz led the way. The maids followed in the back with the receptionist in the middle.
Her tears seemed to fade away as she felt that her death was nearing each second. The guards noticing that Iris and Liz came back both looking very upset decided to usher the other disciples to the sides.
When the group made their way past the gate. Most of the disciples felt that death was entering the Sect and that people would not longer enter the Sect.
The group made their way to the Main Hall to recover the payment of the fence so long ago. The time that it took for it to finish. A dragon roaring in the sky sounded.
The dragon landed outside the Main Hall of the Good Sect. Rex got the dragon to lower his head and growl at the crowd.
"I am looking for my Soul Mate Iris Maximum and Liz Demon. Who will tell me where they are?" Rex asked.
Fenggo, Violet, and Morrigan all were very much alive and knew that the story of them surviving the Water Beast of the Mountainous Sea would be told in many ways. At least all who flew around the sea made it to safety.
As the group made their way to the other Sect. The people felt that this day was too much for them. Even Iris, their beautiful maiden who would lead them to higher heights would no longer do so due to a man riding a dragon.
What seemed like a quick jump made both Sects fear in their hearts. The ground seemed to understand their fears and make sure that they all landed on their knees instead of landing on the butts and looking upwards.
Rex's dragon stood proud. He knew that he was powerful enough to take down both Sects if need be. The dragon knew that it would not happen.
"Hey!" Violet shouted while waving happily.
Iris and Liz both felt that this reunion was more than a glorious day at a festival meeting your loved one whom you had not seen in ages.
The group made their way to Demon's house. This was to compare the documents. Iris did not have access to her father's study while Liz did.
Demon wanted her to know how much trouble he was always in now. What better way than to see the documents that hold him back from expanding the Sect.
The group entered a secure study. Inside was special documents about the joint efforts of both Sects. Although, they rarely do things together. Sometimes they are forced to because of the Ninth Realm.
They all looked at the different documents. The payment from the Good Sect was a paper with payment in full to the store. The payment from the Bad Sect was a paper with payment in full to the disciples telling each disciple and how much Qi Stones they were paid in. The documents from the study however were different.
This was telling that the original plan was to build a formation barrier around the area where the water flows to the two Sects. It was more costly than the fence but it allowed more people to work together.
It passed through both Sect Headmasters. It passed through half of the Elders on both sides. When it came to finalizing the project, some random people began to complain about stuff that would actually take away the Inner and most experienced disciples away from the Sects.
This seemed random as all could believe. Not only did the people just randomly appear but the excuses seemed to follow them as easily.
The formation was supposed to be cast upon once the disciples returned.
To their dismay, the entire formation project no longer had any funding. This caused the group to look deeply into the reason why they lost that funding. No one could figure it out, to what they saw. The funding should have been set aside for future use. No matter where they looked, that money just vanished.
"This is just too weird now." Iris spoke.
No one liked what they were seeing. So Liz decided to take it a step further and look inside where only her and her father could look. She vowed to find the secret.
