In a blink of an eye, almost three weeks had passed since the men left. The Inner Disciple whom the women tortured for information died after the second day.
He tried to talk but felt a formation on his neck tighten up. Even trying to talk about the formation, it tightened up. All he could do was suffer. By the time midday of the second day came around. The women learned that he could not speak, write, or even message them about Malam Bei.
The women tried to break the formation that night and it killed the disciple on the spot. This made them furious even more so Liz. Now she was going to rip apart Malam Bei from start to finish and make sure that she suffered like she was currently.
Finally good news came from one of the men. He had found a way to the mountain house. What he found was actually disturbing.
"Three hundred people dead. Children and Elders are the most, followed by outcasts from other Sects. Somehow, inside the house someone named Lilith was there wondering why a human was summoning an evil creature from the Demon Realm?" The man spoke.
"Can you put Lilith on the line please?" Liz commanded in a asking tone.
"Hey Lilith, what was the creature that was trying to be summoned?" Liz asked.
"One of the more horrid creatures that reign in the Demon Sea. It also can live on the ground for almost a month before searching for an ocean or large enough body of water.
Many call it the Hydra of the Demon Sea, or the Kraken that moves upshore. It is simply a large creature that morphs itself to either form depending on the area it is living in." Lilith replied in a worried tone.
"What are the summoning rituals for it?" Iris asked from behind Liz.
"Either large amount of fluids from Humans being blood, piss, or other activities that produce a lot of fluid."
This caused the women to know why Malam Bei had set up that dual cultivating Sect. Even more so why so much happened all the time.
"The other way is to sacrifice tons of people. Thankfully, I stopped that one." Lilith finished.
"So the Sect that her daughter was in control of either was for it to live in or to help summon it. Instead, she went for the sacrificial way of summoning that creature. How many chances does one get to try and summon it?" Rex asked.
"Probably three chances unless it has seen that someone else has been interfering before the formation to summon it changes." Lilith replied.
This was bad. One chance for sure was gone, the liquid that should have been used erased, and now no more clues to lead to the woman.
"I believe that there is a section called the Mountainous Sea. It could live in there if it was summoned close by. I do not know who or what lives close by." Lilith explained.
Rex thought about his encounter with that creature. It was strong yes, it's movements slow because of the protective nature of the beast. Could it fight against that beast? Probably so with help.
"I guess we need to somehow summon it to force it to fight that beast in the Mountainous Sea." Rex felt a headache coming in.
"No. That creature must die in the Demon Realm otherwise it will be reborn in the Demon Realm that much more resilient to the forces here in the Mortal Realm." Lilith explained.
"Does he need to go there to kill it now?" Liz asked.
"No. Just stopping the formations now is good enough. We must be careful though, it can change it's mood like us women." Lilith explained.
This caused the group to rethink their strategy. As for right now, it seemed to be best to keep up and get Malam Bei under wraps.
"Alright. If you can sense where the next formation is appearing. Go there and see if a woman named Malam Bei is alive there. If not, everyone there needs to be captured. If she is, bring her to me." Liz stated.
The crowd felt that this was more annoying than helpful. Having Lilith watching and sensing if another formation happens, it at least brought some joy to the group.
As for Rex he felt that this was just a set up for the group to see where and who would show up. He decided to keep his mindset clear until they heard from the next man.
