Chapter 973 - Chapter 970 Duties

Rex returned to the Sect. He decided to let the others know how long until the Shadow People would arrive and cause a major ruckus.

As he got close to the Sect, a sinking gut feeling hit him. He knew why and decided not to let it affect him currently.

All of the women were already outside the Sect. They looked like they were daring Rex to say something wrong.

He dismounted and walked over to his Liz. He wrapped his left arm around her and his right arm around Iris.

"Well, what has you two so upset?" Rex asked.

"You left during the night." Liz spoke.

Although she was angered. She tried her best to contain it. She did not know why he left and hoped that he would have explained it better.

He smiled and replied with, "I got a Quest to kill Malam Bei. I did not want to wake you all up and causs a ruckus then."

Hearing that he had gotten a Quest. Liz knew how special he was to them. To not even care to leave them a note, this upset her a lot.

"Just how are you going to repay me for my broken heart this morning?" Liz asked with a curious tone.

The others knew that Rex would not just leave without a reason. Hearing that he did that, they were proud. Only Iris was on Liz's side and this was a hard choice for her.

"We have seven months to prepare for the War that will divide the Nine Realms. We must prepare immediately." Rex told them.

This straightened their attitudes up immediately. Now that a time line for their War to come in. It was time to just sat up cultivation spots and allow the disciples to train and grow non stop.

"Allow them to make debt for pills. Allow them to have a few for free and then debt them afterwards."

This seemed like a good idea. To grow, depending on the situation, the pills could either just allow them to strengthen their Dantian or better use their Qi attacks depending on the pills that they need.

"Make sure that the two of you agree on the same things and make announcements tomorrow about it." Rex finished.

As the group decided to split. Seeing the calm and not yet worried disciples. This made them realize how much the knowledge they have burden themselves.

Rex went to the armor section of the Bad Sect. He really did not want armor but he wanted to see what they could offer.

While he looked at the shiny armor around. He found a worn down cape that was tearing apart.

When he asked about the cape. He got it for free because people only use the cape when they nobles or royalty.

He decided to wait on the cape to be fixed. He did not have anything else to worry about currently.

The day passed smoothly with no one really talking to each other or scrambling to hurry back. He looked at the group and their smiling faces that night.

"We have decided how to make the people prepare for War. If you disagree with any of the details please let us know." Iris spoke up.

"First, Quests are going to be down quicker. No longer than a week time. This is because we cannot stop Quests from entering or being done. We can limit how long they are to be away from the Sect." Liz explained.

This seemed like a good idea. Rex went along with it.

"Second, no more than two Quests a month can be taken. Unless it is for a enclosed Sect Quest." Iris spoke up now.

That made sense since they were limiting the number of Quests done a month.

"For pills for cultivation. We are being generous with giving three pills away per disciple a month. When you have taken all three you either claim a debt or pay after the War." Iris spoke up again.

Rex agreed that this was fine.

"We are going to be setting up formations within the week to help increase each one's cultivation. If you cannot progress within the formation, we will allow you to enter the next stage during this time. If you truly are ready to enter the next level by the time the War is over. We will grant it immediately as long as we win." Liz finished.

This sounded actually good.

"We will Quests to fulfill the alchemists daily pill making. Of course, the more the better. Where our not so great alchemists need to just produce to ensure that at least we have pills to give away. Our higher end alchemists, have to produce higher rated pills as quickly as possible without overworking." Amber spoke from the corner.

This made Rex happy to know that she was safe.

"Of course our blacksmiths also have to work hard and produce good weapons and armor for the War." Margaret spoke from the other corner.

This truly made him happy.

"Alright. What about the pricing?"

"One set completely free and can be traded in for another set." Oracle Aina spoke.

"Alright tomorrow we set off and explain it all."
