Iris POV
It was late at night. A feeling of fear and disappointment entered me. I wondered why. The fear I knew was from the announcements that Liz and I had to make. As for the disappointment, I do not know.
I would secretly look over at Liz who was completely uncomfortable. She would even get out of bed to ensure that she could calm herself.
I should have as well. I did not amd just tried to sleep. The morning seemed to come by slowly. I went wrote two talismans that would allow the two of us to hear what we actually say in the announcements.
Although it was terrible by design. The end product worked and would work until we burned them. Of course, I did not plan to burn mine but Liz probably would have.
As the sun began to show light. I went back to my Sect so inform them of the announcements.
I had already sent word through talismans. You never know who will mess with the talismans or what will happen during the message.
Once I had entered and sat near our platform. The elders all came around.
"Is it true that we are going to War?" The one who asked is my father's Outer Disciple Elder.
"Yes. It will be once seven months are almost over." I replied.
The elder felt his rage boil because he did not like my attitude or the way I spoke. However, I could have cared less unless he actually dares to make a move.
"I believe we all need to ensure that whatever decision or decisions you have made are followed correctly." The elder who usually helps my father with direct disciples spoke up.
Even though it was not time yet to talk to the disciples. I felt a headache already from just talking to these idiots. Who would judge my words?
I could bet a million Qi Stones that no one from the opposite side even judged her words. Even Rex who said that he would stay in the room would come over immediately and knock some sense into these idiots.
As disciples all came up to the platform . I felt disappointed that the elders whom my father chose still had doubt in their eyes. They would not once I gave the announcements.
I stood up once most of the disciples were around the platform.
"Listen closely, for the same announcements that I make are being made across on the other Sect."
The chatter stopped immediately. This was the power that I could use.
"Today, the announcements that are being made will affect all Nine Realms. This is not just for our survival but for our victory within the Nine Realms. In seven months time, there will be a massive War on us. We will have to put forth more effort into our cultivation to ensure our victory."
People began to worry and leave. The elders in the back stopped them from leaving.
"Do not be afraid. First off, the Elders will set up formations to ensure that you all can cultivate for the next Seven months before the War begins.
Next up, each disciple will be given three pills of their choosing for free a month. You can also debt your following pills and we can figure up payment after the War.
To ensure that each disciple is truly trying to raise their cultivation. Only TWO QUESTS outside a month is allowed. You cannot be gone for more than a week."
The fear within the Sect became evident now.
"To offset the amount of time away from the Sect. Those who wish to help around the Sect will be given Quests. I cannot promise that we will be able to accommodate everyone. I ensure that everyone will be given chances to help around the Sect.
Your elders have already been sent letters. If any of them fail to ensure this is properly done. Please feel free to come to these three behind me. For they are stopping their eldership to be assisting Headmasters.

As the crowd disappeared. I knew that Liz had a much better chance currently than I did. This is upsetting. They these idiots cannot listen to me, they should not be able to listen to my father.
Has much as it bothers me. I might actually have to talk to him.

I feared that I would have to do this. If I did, these elders would have to pay dearly.
