Chapter 977 - Chapter 974 Calling father in law

Iris used a talisman that was a one time use only. It could instantly transmit messages across the Nine Realms. It was so hard to make that usually after making three most people could not remember how to make them. If the person was lucky enough to he blessed, four times but they would not be able to craft anymore talismans.

When Iris used the talisman, Rex spoke.

"Father-in-law Maximum, your Sect dared to speak ill against your daughter against the future of the Nine Realms. Either make sure that your Sect still recognizes you as the Headmaster or I will personally ensure their destruction."

The message sent. Even Liz was surprised that Rex would hurt the Nine Realms at this point.

"Honestly, I want people who will fight for their homes and families vs people who would backstab their own. That will not only hurt us but they too will be backstabbed causing more death than necessary in the Nine Realms at the time." Rex explained.

Even though, they knew that the explanation was true. They still felt horrid hearing that a Sect would be wiped out. When the dual cultivating Sect got wiped out, it was not because they wanted to but because useless bodies do nothing but hinder. Not to mention they were openly about who they were doing at the time.

Doing it to a Sect that not only helps the Nine Realms but also ensures that Maximum and Demon have to keep up with each other? That was beyond what Rex could help.

Within a few minutes of doing it, a message was sent back. This made the group worried because it normally should have taken at least an hour.

"Son-in-law, I am proud to tell you that I was already planning a return trip. Hearing from you and my daughter how bad it was. I know you were in Demon's Sect otherwise the reception would have been better.

That is the problem between our Sects. When we come up with ideas. That idea always goes forward well in one Sect and not the other. It just so happened to be my Sect this time.

Worry not," the message cut off.

"He spoke too much." Iris spoke up.

This was weird for Rex. Hearing his voice was actually relaxing enough to calm his nerves. He guessed that he did not have another talisman.

"Worry not my children and Son-in-law, for I will ensure that those who disrespected your authority will be sentenced to harsh punishment. I have several of these talismans on me at a time. Sorry for speaking too much on the last one."

The message ended.

Rex was laughing so hard that he could not contain himself properly and coughed hard afterwards.

"Seems like they will be forced into strict training and working." Rex happily spoke.

Even Iris could not help but smile.

The group went to see how they could help the Sect belonging to Demon at first. They took the message well.

A few Quests that were supposed to be a couple of weeks long were about to be taken down. Rex took them instead.

"I have some extra time on my hands currently. I will gladly do this for the Sect." Rex told the receptionist.

When the receptionist turned around, a young man was there. He gladly handed the Quests to Rex. He went to register the Quests.

An elderly man sat beside the counter and felt that a massive beast had enter the Main Hall. He watched as Rex took the Quests. Even though, he was not a part of the Sect. He was not part of one at all. Allowing him to easily take the Quests.

The man stood up and asked, "Young man, show me the power behind you."

Rex turned after being accepted by the receptionist.

"Do you want to see?" Rex smiled.

This caused the man to feel afraid that he could not even feel the Qi moving inside of him. He had inadvertently shot a Fireball at him inside the building.

Rex stomped the attack out. The man felt fear for the first time in ages and this at least told him that there are still people out there trying to build proper bases and train harder to ensure their spot in the Next Realm.

"Pleasure seeing you young man. Please return safely." The elderly man spoke.

The elderly man went to talk to Liz to figure out who the man was. Someone like him should be worthy enough to marry her. If her husband was a bigger monster than him, he felt secure in having the Ninth Realm protected by the two men.

As he walked, Liz came running up behind Rex. Rex was happily chatting while the elderly man just watched from afar.

"Seems like Demon and Maximum both made a right choice so many years ago and fighting across the Realms." The elderly man spoke and went to the Main Hall to laugh and drink.
