In the Ninth Realm, screams of terror echoed. Rex and Frulen moving towards whatever was entering the Ninth Realm.
The only saving grace of this unit was that it was already away from civilization. Since part of the War was being fought here. It had to be taken care of.
Even the Shadow People had to help because it also targeted them. When they saw their people die from this and the humans tried to help them.
They teamed up to try and escape. Then Rex appeared and helped them escape before turning his full attention to it.
He did not want to deal with this but no one else was going to be strong enough to or be able to deal with the consequences of dealing with it.
The large unit targeted Rex. Rex began to jump in circles. This was to provide an area where even if he could jump away he could.
That was the biggest mistake he could make because once the area around the big unit was made. Several shots were inside the holes.
What came out was even more of them. Now Rex had to fight against fifteen of them because of the hole sizes that the original big unit made.
Instead of worrying about the copies. Rex went for the original. Every punch was sent back through to Rex. He felt more like a punching bag than a actual fighter at this point.
He shot Qi to the big unit. The reflection did not stop the Qi attack itself. However the pain it felt also Rex felt.
He had to come up with some way to negate the reflection. He turned backwards and saw the closest big unit attempting to attack him.
Rex grabbing part flesh and part metallic alloy and threw the big unit to the original.
The crash and fall of the two units landed. Once covered by a Shadow Cloak now fully exposed. The copy was a beast that got metal alloys to help protect it.
The original still did not get the cloak removed but something stirred inside of it. Now it was truly angered.
Rex went to the next beast. He threw the beast to the original. The original was prepared this time. However, when it tried to aim for the hole where this beast belonged it was gone.
The next beast got thrown to the original and it saw Rex refill the hole with Qi. This caused it to become angered.
The second beast made contact with the original. Now two more of the beast clones had actually died.
Before the original beast could fully be on its feet. The next beast thrown into its legs. Now the beast had to try and deal with Rex. Losing four out of the fourteen beasts was unacceptable.
The other beasts tried to aim at Rex. With no else to turn to currently. He darted towards the original all of the other beasts fired missiles that targeted Rex. Rex having to time this perfectly waited until they were close to him began to charge directly at the original beast.
The original beast knowing full well what Rex intended to do screamed. The missiles were unaffected because they were technically his missiles.
Rex sped up and was on top of the original beast's head. What awaited him was probably the most agonizing death scene.
His missiles heading straight for his head. Rex on top and he could feel him. Once the missiles turned upwards. A deep roar shook the earth. The missiles still unaffected by the roar.
Rex jumped backwards once the missiles were almost shoulder height. The missiles turned and the beast knew that it's death was here.
The missiles landed on the beast and exploded into a mix of metal and gore. Ten explosions rocking the Ninth Realm.
Even at the far reaches of where this battle was taking place. The explosion was felt, if not heard almost across the entire Ninth Realm.
Rex looking at the beast now had to make hard choices. The other ten were still alive. Rex could tell that it was slightly better to kill the original now.
What happened was something that he could not believe. The other ten began to merge and reform the original beast. Rex immediately slammed his hands into the ground closing the holes and forcing the stop of the merge only to see an explosion about to happen.
Once the holes were filled. He turned around and ran. The explosions that happened did not affect anyone or anything.
When Rex returned to see if they were completely destroyed. He saw a new beast standing there.
One that was completely metallic in nature. The beating of the heart was a pump forcing liquid all across the body to keep it in check.
Now Rex was unsure of what this beast was and how to deal with it.
