As the new big unit was reformed it did not have the same feeling as the other big unit. Rex took this as it was a baby. However, the glow in the eye sockets was different.
It seemed to grow stronger than what it was previously. Even with the new powers it knew that being strong was not enough.
It finished growing big and than immediately went small. It felt more comfortable being small than big. It glared at Rex and Rex was confused at what this was.
Rex watched as the small creature tried to outspeed Rex and bomb him once he was down.
Rex was able to catch the creature and this made the creature feel terribly small. There should not have been a reason for it to have been captured so easily.
The creature got hugged by Rex. This feeling was not knew to the creature because it felt this inside the previous big unit.
That feeling was warmth and safety. Even when it knew that it should be fighting against Rex currently. This feeling was too comfortable.
"Although I do have a woman pregnant. I could consider you my first child if you accept staying with me and helping me fight against the Shadow People." Rex told it.
The creature unknowingly wanted to stay and keep feeling this good feeling. However, it knew that in order to accept a new parent it had to be defeated.
It had been defeated by Rex but that is not what it means to be defeated. It has to honestly feel like its mother was wrong and the ones who raised its mother was wrong.
When Rex began to walk back to the War Zone. The creature stayed inside his arms. The creature wanted Rex to walk normally instead of speeding across the Realm.
Rex knew that this was for the best. He needed to get back to the main War Zone and to ensure that the baby saw who Rex was fighting for.
"We can walk through all of the Realms later. However, I do need to ensure that the War is going decently. If not, I will be upset.
Will you accept this proposal?"
The baby looked at the eyes of Rex. It could tell his feelings were true. The baby nodded and Rex darted directly into the War Zone.
Thousands of Shadow People and humans all lay down broken and dying. Rex knew that the best way to win the War was to help the Shadow People.
"I am going to hand you to one of your mothers. I have to help get everyone here to safety."
The baby looked up and felt annoyed. It decided to go along with the plan. Iris was upset at Rex for bringing the baby into their home.
"This baby will be the start of a new relationship between me and the Shadow People. Besides, she is awfully cute isn't she?"
Iris felt her blood boil because Rex called it a girl. The baby did not know that Rex was giving it an actual gender but it did not matter.
Once it was fully in the arms of Iris. Rex sped into the War Zone grabbing human and Shadow People alike.
Rex was doing his absolute best to ensure that people were saved and hopefully join their side.
Even as people were healed, some were dying faster than others. Rex could not help those who were dying because more wounded were coming down.
The baby big unit walked over and sprayed a gas cloud. It knew now that Rex truly wanted to have true peace among the races.
When the Shadow People and humans were being healed and revived. Some were already dead and could not actually be brought back to life.
Cries of sorrow filled the side of the tent where death of the humans actually were. Friends, fellow disciples, and family members all were there hoping and praying that this was not true.
The baby big unit could tell from what it saw that the ones who were dead were dead and could not be brought back to life. It began to change according to how Rex addressed it earlier.
It felt that this would be easier than trying to keep its dual gender. The big units impregnate themselves by forcing blood into the womb at times. It will know if it is pregnant or not if the first shot of blood into the womb is rejected or not.
If it is not than it forces more into it. Each big unit grows more and more metallic parts. To where the only part that is not metallic is the blood and womb.
That is the end goal of the big unit project and why the Shadow People truly wanted this beasts to grow faster. Even still, the outside is so hard that most beings cannot cut open the beast.
The baby big unit for Rex seemed to understand that growth changes will happen. She needed to be the change that happened for good.
She began to wail in sadness. Her cries caught the attention of every Shadow Person and human alike.
The Shadow People knowing that the cries is for the death of someone important to it. What they did not realize was that it was crying for those who had lost their precious families and for the Shadow People who died.
Once Rex had brought some more of the Shados People and humans into the camp. The baby shot her gas cloud into the camp.
She now wanted as much to live as possible. She would revoke the healing if they decided to fight against each other.
The Shadow People did not know how to respond to the people trying to help them until the Shadow King that is living in the Realms appeared.
He wanted to tell Rex how to kill it. He looked and saw that it had changed already because of Rex.
"A baby big unit is the most precious thing a world can see. I know you had to come together because of the death of your mother.
You will live a good life here in the Realms as long as you behave beside of the people who brought you back." The Shadow King seemed to be happy.
This made the baby big unit happy and wanted to stay close to Rex.
