Within the Second Realm the beast and Rex walked a little slower. It was honestly because of the lower density Qi in the Second Realm.
Not having a lot of Qi was already bad enough but since Rex had not honestly checked back in the lower Realms. Since he had not, this was the price he paid.
Truthfully, if not for most of the towns already having mostly slums anyways. They would have directly went back to the Ninth Realm. Rex truly wanted to see all of the bad in the Realms. This way the beast could see what the true goodness it would do is.
The night of the fifth day came upon them. It had been a long time since Rex saw the First Realm. He was genuinely pleased with the advancement of the Second Realm.
What advancements could the First Realm do? Rex was unsure of himself and the duo were taken to an inn and given the best room available.
Then the dawn of the Sixth Day. Today would be their day to see the First Realm. Of course, Rex expected a lot more burden on him and the beast. When the duo entered through a portal and entered the First Realm.
The duo felt lighter than a feather. The duo ran across the First Realm. Their speeds made even some man in a red suit with lightning look slow running across the First Realm.
They saw what good the trio fathers had done in the First Realm. A lot more people could advance if they truly wanted to.
What was truly surprising was that the towns all had schooling for getting certain types of Qi easier.
So if someone wanted a dual affinity the schools had the chance to help any cultivator in the First Realm achieve greatness.
Even for single Qi type users, the schools helped the students learn the basics of the Qi handling.
Rex was able to sit down in a class. This was because the trio fathers had already shown pictures of their daughters and Rex himself. They were not going to offend him in any way shape or form.
Listening to a teacher about the users of a single Qi type. Even Rex listened very carefully, although some things were taught wrong from his perspective.
He was truly able to learn a lot of usable techniques for just using one Qi type. Then a bell rang. The class was dismissed. Rex stayed behind to talk to the teacher.
When the teacher and Rex talked. Rex found himself actually enjoying the conversation. It was a weird sensation thinking that the teacher was a male and had not advanced passed the Fifth Realm.
When Rex heard that the man was asked to teach in the First Realm to help new cultivators. Rex was genuinely glad to meet a good person.
In the following class, Rex was unpleased to see the teacher being another male but explaining stuff completely wrong to ensure that the growth of students is taken in different paths.
Even Rex had to think hard about this because he was on the hard side of actually hating this. Even the beast seemed to think that this was a bad idea.
When that class and everyone left, Rex actually talked about that to the teacher. The teacher said, "Each student is different and has a different thing to learn in this school. We can help guide them through the Realms but we cannot help them if they struggle.
My teaching way even back in the Seventh Realm was to give multiple ways to lead to the same destination. New paths can be opened by students who have had a harder time than students who have it easy."
Rex thought that this was indeed a good way of teaching but it still needed a little more guidance. The teacher took those words of Rex and would help the students a little more one on one.
The final class of the day was a choosing of dual affinity or single affinity Qi. Why each one is bad to have and why they are both good to have.
One of the female students asked, "Sir, if everyone could have multiple affinities would not everyone have them? This is why it is better to achieve the best you can while you have it rather than try for something hard."
Rex was greatly accepting of this idea. He was wondering if the teacher had anything to do with this. It was night and Rex honestly was looking forward to returning to the Ninth Realm.
Even now, he was glad he had done this trip with the beast. Now they both had stuff that they truly wanted to do.
The portal opened the duo returned to the Ninth Realm. When they returned a group of happy women were ready for Rex to return. This brought the group to a graceful night of sleep before the ceremony in two days.
