The day of the first ceremony had arrived. People flocked as if this was a festival instead of a marriage ceremony. Since it was the first day, most people wanted to get here early for the start.
Stalls were set up with trinkets and food. The smell alone drifted across the place. The Heavenly Guard and Soldier would get some food for the five.
The female Heavenly Judge looked into some of the trinkets with the Shadow Commander. Although they were useless to the couple, these were still priceless trinkets for the Mortal Cultivators.
The duo found a pair of ear rings and regular rings that they liked. Since they had no Mortal currency it was hard for them to get them. Demon had just looked for them and saw the duo looking at the ear rings and rings. He walked over and paid for them.
"Thank you, Demon. These were honestly beautiful." She spoke.
Demon nodded. The Shadow Commander got an extra ring that he liked from the vendor. He promised to pay once he could talk privately.
The vendor immediately recognized why he wanted it. The vendor gave him a huge discount, if he would do it before any marriage ceremony.
The Shadow Commander was thrilled to know to that there were still good hearted people in the Mortal Realms.
The vendor was trying to use this has a public humiliation tactic. He was quickly thrown into a wall when this would happen.
The day passed quickly with thousands of people readily able to watch the ceremonies. Lilith even joked that this would become a week forever locked in the Mortal Realms for those who want marriage.
Lilith wanted Rex to dress her in the dress he liked. He went and found two that he really liked. He placed her in a bright blue dress that helped calm his nervous stomach at first.
He knew that his women were the spot light for this week. Seeing how beautiful just Lilith was in the blue dress made him truly wish that he could enjoy life more in just the simplest things.
Lilith also liked this dress a lot. Soon the time for the ceremony to start was at hand. Eventually, everyone made their way to the tents and surrounding area.
People used any means necessary to look at the man marrying first. When he had gently placed Lilith at her spot. He walked unto a clear off area.
Before any words were spoken the Shadow Commander stood up. He walked forward confusing the people entirely.
"In the Shadow Realm, right before the maiden of honor is either brought out or chosen in this instance. Any people who wish to show their love is given a small chance. It was said to both be a blessing and to receive a blessing from the person marrying couple."
The people were genuinely impressed but the vendor was stupidified at this scene. It was not humiliating but a part of his culture.
"My lady, Heavenly Judge will you please come and accept my ring." He said and got down on a knee.
The crowd gasped as if ready to cheer loudly. The embarrassment on the female Heavenly Judge's face told the whole story. She still made her way up there.
"In front of these people, I vow to ensure that you will have a place to call home and raise children that you will love and enjoy being with. Will you accept my ring as a small token of that love?" The Shadow Commander asked.
The crowd was tightly holding their breaths. The embarrassment quickly faded from the female Heavenly Judge's face as she extended her hand to accept the ring. Once the ring was completely on her finger, the crowd exploded with cheers.
"The greatest cheer for the lovely couple." Demon spoke.
The crowd got even louder. The claps and cheers made the female Heavenly Judge want to crawl into a hole and hope that this ends soon.
The Shadow Commander turned himself and the female Heavenly Judge towards Maximum who was holding the first ceremony.
"I wish upon you two a great life. May it be filled with fruits of happiness from each other and those who help you." Maximum spoke.
The crowd cheered louder.
"Congratulations, I wish you two the same happiness that I am going to receive." Rex spoke.
The crowd was buzzing with excitement because of the starting ceremony. Once everyone calmed down, did Maximum speak again.
"Tonight, we are here to celebrate the union of Rex and one of these five women. Tonight I am joining Rex and one of these women. Tomorrow will be Life-giver, Demon following, and once we three have given our ceremony a round. We will once again do what we did to get the round of priority until the last woman whom should marry Rex be.
The last one to marry Rex will be the Demon God himself appearing in a humanoid form. This was sent to us a message not only from our beautiful Mistress Lilith but also from the Goddesses themselves."
The crowd was hyped up for the ceremonies now.
"Now then Rex, please choose the woman whom you wish to marry first. As of right now, I ask for quietness to ensure a proper choosing and not one that was forced." Maximum asked.
Looking at the women who were dressed in a different color pink with a darker red veil to ensure that nothing from the face could be seen through. Rex was certain that Iris sat in the middle but was unsure of who else was where.
He closed his and spoke, "I am going to choose you in the middle."
He walked down towards Lilith still eyes closed. Once he reached Lilith, he was able to count to the middle and raise her into cleaned area.
"May the lady under the veil uncover her face." Maximum asked.
When it was revealed to be Liz, this shocked Rex because he was sure that it was Iris.
"Of course this is not the real me." The voice was one hundred percent Iris's but the facial covering was still of Liz.
A slick peel off revealed Iris and the crowd was even more shocked at this.
"I could tell it was you." Rex spoke.
"How and why you could I do not know nor care but thank you for choosing me first." Iris spoke.
The ceremony went without a hitch. The evening inside of the house was sealed by the female Heavenly Judge and guarded and the Heavenly Soldier and Guard to ensure that no one dared to interrupt it.
