"Nonsense!" Zorgrath shouted as he stomped over to Gerard and the others. "We have been preparing a feast for you. Our crops have seen their first harvest thanks to the richness of the mana here and our proficient mages. Let us eat. There's no reason to head back out into danger on an empty stomach!"
"You just want a reason to feast..."
"And? We never truly celebrated the fact you saved the city of Yurruf, no, the entire country from the pirates! The other leaders agreed that we should celebrate upon your return."
"Fine. Okay. Let's do this then."
"Yay!" Sprite chimed in.

Gerard closed his eyes and took a deep breath.
As the evening cast its gentle embrace over Evergarden, Gerard found himself seated at a grand table, surrounded by the leaders of the tribes and the inhabitants of his newly created realm. The feast in his honour celebrated their triumphs and a momentary respite from the trials that lay ahead.
