Chapter 166 - Chapter 166 - Daedric princes, Meridia.

[Chapter Size: 2200 Words.]

Third Person POV.

Winterfell.

...

...

Jon had an option of Daedric princes and princesses to choose from when he began their summoning with his own blood.

Summoning a spirit for some princes would be very easy, however, Jon did not like all those gods, he even wished he could kill some of them.

Molag Bal was this one, the Daedric tied to necromancy, vampirism and soul trapping, he would be a great problem to have here, he was evil and cruel, he hurt people that Jon Snow, the name he used in Skyrim before knowing he was a Daemon Targaryen, met along his journey, like Serana.

Serana was given by her own father to the spirit Molag Bal to be turned into a vampire, and for that, he raped her. Just like he did to her mother.

Daemon met him at least 3 times in his journey, he did not like one bit of the sadistic and vile personality of the god and they clashed in two of those 3 encounters, but Daemon never managed to come close to killing him, perhaps he never would... Not even the princes could be killing one another, even if some of them hated each other for eternity.

Nocturnal was the guardian of the veil between worlds, tied to secrets and the unknown. She was trustworthy and to discover hidden truths, even her price to come into this world would be lesser compared to summoning the others.

Namira could also summon his mother, but incredibly repulsive, Daemon did not like her, she was tied to decay, spirits and everything that is rejected by humanity. She could very well bring Lyanna's spirit to Daemon, but in a degraded way, perhaps showing the most horrible side of death. That was the way she used her powers.

"Princess Meridia." Daemon spoke calmly to the figure floating in the air like an ethereal being staring at him, before she began to descend until touching the stone floor with the blood symbols, with her bare feet.

Daemon summoned Meridia, because she was more connected to him than any other prince. They had all agreed that they did not want this world to be consumed by ice and death, after all they saw a world as a great farm to create thousands of worshippers, which makes the princes more powerful, they are always constantly meddling in worlds to increase their influences. Meridia is no different, even if her intentions are better than those of the other princes.

They could never interfere with this world beyond sending Daemon, because they needed to summon a champion here, to destroy evil before the world turned into a hollow globe without life, only frozen by supernatural creatures that killed the living. Even if they could not exert their influence over this world, occupied by other gods, it was a future bet for the Daedric, after all they planned to do this in the future, even if it takes hundreds of thousands of years. One thing was certain, Daemon could not prevent this, when the Daedric finally managed to break through the shield that exists in this world against other gods, Daemon would be a corpse already mixed with the soil of this world.

There was nothing he could do against it, but he accepted coming to this world when he discovered the truth about his family, even if that closed any chance of him going back to Skyrim. His life would now be bound to this world until the day of his death, he would not return or see any other ghost of his past.

But that was what he chose. He chose to avenge his blood.

"Dragonborn... or rather, Dovahkiin." Meridia said in a calm tone.

Meridia was wearing a dress covering her entire body, she liked being a modest woman, without showing skin, unlike other princesses who had no scruples about showing all their intimate parts to attract attention. She had beautiful yellow eyes and blonde hair, she managed to be more beautiful than Daenerys, but Daemon could not be deceived by appearance, Daedric Princes had no gender, they could appear as female and male figures as they wished, and would change their bodies easily as they wanted.

"It's been some time, a little over a year since the last time we spoke..." Daemon said.

"Yes..." She said. "I am more familiar with your journey than you think." She said in her ethereal tone as if Jon were speaking with a being of absolute wisdom with a touch of arrogance. Though she could plead with a sweet tone when she wanted something.

"So you are watching me?" Daemon raised his eyebrow.

"Yes... and not only me." She said.

"How unexpected, there's a bunch of gods watching me? I feel very comfortable now." Jon said in a sarcastic tone.

"I see your ironic personality never changes, Dovahkiin." She said. "But yes, you know any of us can see you. We are expecting something from you and you already know that." She said.

"Of course... how could I forget the army of the dead coming to destroy humanity... My arrival at the north of the Wall when I came back to this world, it wasn't a coincidence... You had sent me there intending that I would see the ice necromancers..." Daemon said once again, with sarcasm.

"Yes." She did not deny it. "We need to stop the dark future this world faces... you know we wouldn't have sent you here without a reason, you yourself knew that." Meridia said in a calm tone.

"I knew there was a reason for you to suddenly show the truth that had been hidden from me for so long... you manipulated me in a way, you knew I wouldn't refuse to come back here after seeing what happened to them..." Jon said, referring to his family.

"..." Meridia looked at him with a glimmer of compassion, she did not say anything, because she knew Daemon had not finished.

"The question is, why was I chosen in the first place to disappear from this world and end up in Skyrim as an orphan child? My master had taken me out of that orphanage and made me good enough to survive Skyrim's dangers... Later, discovering that I could absorb dragon souls, then I became the Dragonborn..." He said with a laugh after those words, before looking directly into Meridia's yellow eyes.

"Tell me, I went to Skyrim to become a Dragonborn, but it was not a coincidence... Now I am here to save this world, just as it happened in Tamriel... Tell me!" Daemon said louder than he intended, and with a touch of anger in his last word.

Daemon felt like a pawn of gods at that moment, he hated it, as if these beings moved him from one side to the other at their whim. He was the Dragonborn, he hated being used.

If Meridia was offended by Daemon's outburst of anger, she did not show it, she continued looking at him with compassion, as she would to any faithful. "I am sorry if you feel that way, but it was not us who pulled you into Tamriel..." She said, pausing.

"We do not know what happened, do you remember our first meeting, in my temple taken by a vile necromancer? Where you took my sword? I did not know you until that day, we had heard that a Dragonborn had been born after so long without one among mortals, but I did not know you until that moment." She said.

"You are saying..." Daemon had to raise an eyebrow.

"That it was not me or any prince who had sent you from this world... It was something else, something we do not understand. It is something that is above us..." She admitted and seemed shaken, Daemon had never seen her like that, as if she did not know how to answer a question of existence.

"And what in Oblivion could be superior to you princes or any other god?" Daemon mocked.

"We do not know." She said in a cautious tone.

"..." Silence fell between them for a moment, until Daemon broke it.

"But you do not deny that you made me come here when this world could be destroyed, do you?" Daemon asked with a touch of irritation.

"That is true, we really did make you come here. We do not understand it very well, but even if you were not the Dragonborn, in the line that this world would have with you remaining here, it could be saved, but the fate of the world changed with your absence, this world was doomed to destruction without your self. Even if you did not have all the powers you possess today." She said.

"..." Daemon had much to reflect on this, but he said nothing, perhaps he would have a crucial role here anyway, but as a bastard bound to the Night's Watch, which everything indicated was the future his uncle was choosing for him, he did not know very well how his existence would be crucial to destroy the Long Night. There was also that three-eyed raven.

"I met a man in a tree who claimed to be the messiah, who would protect this world as a great savior. But you must already know that, right?" Daemon said, breaking the silence again.

"A fool... that much I can say." Meridia mocked, she seemed irritated. "This fool is a creature in search of power and intended to use the destruction of this world to his advantage to achieve it, your encounter with that vile creature was a blessing." She said more satisfied in the end, satisfied with what Daemon had done with the three-eyed raven.

"I have his soul." Daemon said, perhaps Meridia would be interested in it, since it could be the price for her coming to him in this world. And he was not wrong.

"That is good... I intend to use it at the end of our meeting." She said, showing a satisfied smile for the first time since they began talking.

"So basically I must destroy the ice necromancers. Other than that, will any of you bother me? I am precisely uniting the realms for that, but also seeking what was taken from my older brother, killed like an animal when he was just a baby." Daemon said, Aegon was the rightful heir of their father, he was only taking what was his right now along with his aunt, even if he was not happy with the idea of ruling and dealing with the politics of the nobles of the Seven Kingdoms, but still, it was better than being sent again to another place and starting all over again, saving another civilization from destruction.

Daemon was tired of that, he wanted to live a life different from going around saving the world again, he hoped he would do it for the last time here, he wanted to finally build his family.

"No... we will not bother you anymore after this, you cannot return, you have already been warned about that... As I said before, we cannot pull you out of this world anymore, that is why I say it was something else, superior to us, that took you from this world and placed you in Skyrim. I cannot even be in this world, this is only a manifestation, something like a shell." She said and Daemon felt satisfied with her answer. In Skyrim, he was a hero, he had name, power and wealth, even the emperor saw him as an equal, although Daemon became a king consort in Skyrim, he knew the value of the Dragonborn.

If Daemon were not here, he would probably be at war against the Thalmor, leading an army, since the political situation of Tamriel was a little tense before he left.

But even though he had so many things there, this place was his homeland, and it did not need to be said that they would all be destroyed by the coming of the second Long Night, which convinced him to return here. He knew that deep down, he always belonged to this place more than Skyrim. Even if in one world he was the Dragonborn, the hero, and in the other, just a bastard of a great lord.

"But before we continue..." Meridia pulled Daemon from his own thoughts by breaking the silence. "I know you summoned me for her." She pointed to the statue of Lyanna Stark.

"Yes. Can you do it, Meridia? I will pay the price that is required for me to meet her." Daemon said.

"Of course, if I can make a son meet his mother, I will gladly do it." She said before turning completely to the statue and looking at its feet, at the bones of Lyanna Stark.

"I will summon her, Dovahkiin." With that, Meridia's eyes began to glow and her body became wrapped in an ethereal light.
