As my "master" left the shop, I started chopping the slabs one by one, each chop, each time I cut those slabs, I felt more and more comfortable with it, getting faster and faster.
And finally, as I finished chopping the last slab, Eldia's voice started ringing in my head.

And just as I finished that thought, Eldia spoke again.

I complained about what this simplistic ability looked like but.. It actually looks really good..
Any object with a cutting edge, so I can even use it with a sword or a dagger.
But the most interesting part is that if I use a weapon with the caracteristic 'Butcher's Knife', the times 2 strength and speed I would gain compared to if I use it with a sword for example.
As I finished that thought, Eldia's voice rang thru my head again, with a status window appearing infront of me.

Interrupting my thought, the sounds of a window breaking and footsteps throughout the main room of the shop could be heard.
Shit. SHIT.
Still holding my knife, I hid to the side of the door leading to the main room. The counter with the money was directly infront of that door.
"Looks like there's quite a bit of money in here.. about 100 gold I think..."
The first burglar.. he looked broad, about 185 centimeters in height and easily around 80 KGs.While I was about 190 centimeters in height and around 80 KGs aswell.
Go check the backroom. There may be some valuable stuff there aswell.

The second burglar looks smaller than the 2nd one, about 175 centimeters and around 70 KGs.
The problem is, that he's coming towards me, the backroom.
With each step, echoing closer and closer to me, I decided on my course of action.
As he passed through the door frame, I plunged my knife into his head, using the ability 'Chop' to split his head in half. His dead body crumbled to the floor, blood was pouring, on me and the knife.
I-Igor..? No.. NO ! SHOW YOURSELF !!
Screamed the first burglar, as he saw his friend's split head and his cadaver on the floor.
Surrender, and you won't get killed.
DIE YOU BASTARD !
He cried out, lauching himself at me with a dagger.
Chop.
His hand was cut clean off. The dagger fell onto the floor. The look of despair on his face.. Looked so.. real. Even the flesh.. The blood.. No. Everything about this game looked so realistic. It felt like real life. But it wasn't real life. There were no consequences to it.
So why can't I bring myself to kill him like I did with the first guy ?

I tied him up, capturing him in the process.
