Third Person POV
Konoha, Year 42.
...
...
In the end, all the confusion had subsided, and the ninjas began to disperse, but the night was not over, and no one within the walls of Konoha intended to sleep in the coming hours.
Arguments began across all corners of the village—between families, friends, clans. Be they Ninjas or Civilians.
The village would create a plebiscite to decide how to deal with the Uzumaki situation. As for Danzou's crimes, they would be investigated in the following days, taking priority over any decision regarding the Uzumaki.
Even though it was important, there was another matter—the timeline they were in was hanging by a thread, and the other villages had already begun to move. Perhaps in a matter of weeks, or even days. With no one knowing how close they were to the Uzumakis, they might already be reaching the Land of Whirlpools.
In the end, Minato thanked Nara and said they should keep in touch the next day.
He had also returned to Sakumo.
"I want you to reactivate as a ninja of Konoha, because you will have your justice. And not the village's contempt. I will personally guarantee that."
He spoke further with some clan leaders, while they still seemed a bit unsure of what to do, but nothing that a conversation here and there couldn't start to resolve.
Another thing Minato had openly asked for—and the Hokage was forced to comply—was the imprisonment of several suspected ROOT members, handed directly to allied clans, so they wouldn't mysteriously die during the night. They would be interrogated, and the Uchihas themselves, as Konoha's police force, had offered to guard the prisoners.
Now, without Danzou's seal, the root members could speak freely.
Their summons were finally canceled, and Minato's main group returned to the Senju clan to plan their next steps.
They wouldn't sleep that night and would likely plan throughout the entire night. The first thing he did was go retrieve the hidden members in the Senju clan's bunker.
They gathered in the main building, which remained intact despite several parts of the clan being destroyed and bodies being recovered by other ninjas, carrying away the defeated shinobi who had fought there.
"What happened to her?"
Mazu Uchiha's voice was heard in one of the rooms of the Senju main house, as he asked with a somber look, seeing his daughter lying with bandages over her eyes, while there were some bloodstains on them.
He knew something was wrong with Mikoto from the moment he noticed her absence on the battlefield. And, knowing his daughter well, she wouldn't be absent for a good reason. Obviously, he wanted to question Minato and even demanded to see her when he said she was recovering from an injury.
With no choice, Minato took him to her, allowing him to see her. It no longer mattered if Mazu could see her new eyes adapting to her body. Mikoto would not hide her power once her eyes fully adapted again.
Hardly anyone would hide a perfect susanoo in the next war, where Minato foresaw Mikoto using this power. At least for her father, it wouldn't be a problem to reveal it.
"Hello... father..." Mikoto murmured, while Mazu ignored her, demanding explanations at that moment, and he looked at Minato immediately.
"Kushina." Minato looked at the other girl in the room, and she knew what to do. In the next moment, chains emerged from her back, filled the space, and a barrier was created around them.
Minato just sighed.
"Well... her mangekyou sharingan was worn out. She lost her vision."
That immediately made Mazu grimace and roar in anger, but Minato wasn't finished yet.
"We placed new eyes in her. As you know, I fought two Uchiha at the border, and both had the mangekyou sharingan. I implanted a pair of eyes I stole from one of them into Mikoto. When she's finally able to use them again, she'll have a power no Uchiha has had since Uchiha Madara."
He said, while the place fell into silence.
It took Mazu a few moments to grasp what those words meant.
"Minato... are you serious?" he asked with an urgent tone, his expression tight.
"Yes, I am." Minato simply replied, unwilling to give any more information.
"How do you know all of this? Who gave you this knowledge about the Sharingan and the clan?" he roared again, glaring at the boy who had always been a mystery.
He already knew the boy had given hints to his daughter to awaken her Sharingan at the age of seven. Later, the fact: she awakened the Mangekyou Sharingan during the war with his help. But he had never explained how this boy had so much information that would shock any Uchiha—information that was also dangerous.
It seemed impossible that a child could know what this boy knew about the clan's secrets. He himself would cast a genjutsu on the boy if he didn't know the boy was powerful enough to break out of any attack.
The brat had destroyed nearly two hundred ninjas who had set a trap for him. He fought against Sand ninjas. Soon after, he killed the Kazekage as he had declared, even if no official information had been released yet—nothing stopped him from believing it.
'What kind of monster does that at such a young age and still stands there as if nothing happened? He fought against Danzou and several ROOT members, I believe... and his body wasn't even dirty or damaged. He doesn't even look drained of chakra...' Mazu couldn't help but shudder. Minato had fought the entire night and even summoned one of the giant toads, yet he showed no signs of fatigue. What kind of chakra reserve could he possibly have?
For a moment, Mazu might have thought he was interested in the power of the Sharingan and the clan, but everything suggested otherwise. This boy clearly didn't need any of that power.
'But, certainly, his power and influence would be far beyond any imagined ambition. If my daughter could have power equivalent to Uchiha Madara's, I would certainly be proud... But I also couldn't help but be worried. What was this boy planning?' Mazu looked at Minato.
He wasn't just powerful—he was creating monsters around him, nothing less than wives.
After all, even if someone else took the position of Hokage instead of him...
He was practically married to the perfect Jinchuuriki of the Nine-Tails from the Uzumaki clan, to perhaps the most powerful Uchiha after Madara Uchiha, and to a Senju with the legendary power of Sage Mode.
There was also the Hyuuga, who wasn't bad, even though she wasn't on the same monstrous level as the others.
And Minato didn't seem the least bit worried about his fiancées having so much power—he appeared calm, as if he were on the same level as them.
Even the Hokage himself would have to ask for permission to decide anything regarding the village, faced with a newly-formed clan consisting of just one Namikaze and multiple wives.
Nothing in the village could be decided without the approval of someone with such concentrated power in his household.
This would also extend beyond the village. No country would stand still with so much power concentrated in one small corner of Konoha. That, on its own, would bring war.
But could anyone really stop them?
Mazu pushed that thought aside. He simply sighed as he looked at his daughter.
"How are you?" He only needed her attention. He didn't want to hear about political games and legendary powers anymore. She was still his daughter Mikoto, above all else.
"I'm fine, father. Unfortunately, I couldn't fight tonight. But I will be in the next battle." Mikoto said.
"We'll see." Minato crossed his arms at the side, giving his response. Mikoto then frowned.
"He's right. If you can't control those eyes properly..." Mazu was about to say, but was cut off by his daughter.
"Minato's not talking about my eyes, father." Mikoto replied, while Mazu raised an eyebrow. Mikoto saw no reason not to share it with him.
"I'm pregnant." She admitted.
"What?" Mazu was surprised for a moment, before looking at Mikoto with a more analytical gaze soon after, resuming his composure as the clan leader.
"Well, then an even more important reason for you to take care of yourself. I'm glad I'll have a descendant, even if he won't carry the Uchiha name." He said, sighing. Mikoto was his only daughter—at least his bloodline would be preserved.
"Thank you, father..." Mikoto said, smiling.
"I'd like to see the little boy as soon as he's born, if that's not a problem." He said at the end, and Mikoto nodded.
"You'll see him, father." She said, as he didn't need to say anything more.
"Take care of yourself, Mikoto. If that guy ever makes you unhappy, my door will be open for you and your child." Mazu said, surprising Mikoto, as he had never said such words before.
Even so, Mikoto couldn't see any scenario where she would do that, while Minato raised an eyebrow, wondering what that guy thought of him. Did he really believe he'd be stupid enough to do something to his girl?
"Minato won't hurt me. I'm sure of that." She said firmly.
"I'm off then. I have to deal with clan matters. We have a lot to discuss. We've been heavily harmed by the elders and we want to bring them down." Mazu said. He had every intention of destroying the elders who had wronged them.
"I wouldn't want them in power anymore either. We'll do everything we can to remove them from decision-making." Minato said, as he divided his attention between dealing with the clan or meddling with the village leadership, and found the first option more important.
Although, regardless of what the village decided on its own, the Hokage couldn't do much besides holding his position until the end of this crisis.
After Mazu left, Kushina deactivated the sound barrier, since the conversation about the Mangekyou Sharingan was quite sensitive. Even though they were well protected there, it was wise.
Now, Minato looked at Tsuna beside him.
"Let's check on the others... I don't want to leave Mikoto alone, so let's have the meeting here. Can you call them, Tsuna?" Minato said, as his wife called her mother, her uncle, Hanabi, and her grandfather on the other side.
Meanwhile, Minato kept glancing at some corners of the room, as if he were seeing things beyond the walls, analyzing parts of the village.
"These things... they're here." Minato murmured.
"What? Is something wrong, Minato?" Kushina asked, while Minato looked at her, analyzing for a moment. She grew a little frustrated at his delay in responding. He was thinking about something.
"I want you to help me. We'll talk with the others afterward, alright?" He said, wanting to test something regarding her, and she nodded.
Tsunade, Nawaki, Hanabi, and her grandfather entered with Tsuna.
"Well, we're going to have a talk now. But before we begin... I want to deal with something first." Minato said, looking at the older man.
"First, we need to remove the Caged Bird seal on Hanabi's grandfather's forehead. The clan will surely want to retaliate after tonight." Minato said, while Hanabi immediately agreed. He hadn't had his seal removed like hers.
The Hyuuga clan was quite pissed about what happened that night. Revealing that they had removed Hanabi's clan seal from her forehead had been the last straw.
The fuuinjutsu was fairly easy when they didn't have to create a formula from scratch, since they had the sealing secret given by a main family member, so they just manipulated a new formula for removal.
Because of that, it took only two months of study for Minato to develop the key, with the bulk of the work done by Kushina. Minato and Tsunade only helped here and there, being busy with training or ANBU missions.
"Can you do it?" The man couldn't help but ask, still looking at his granddaughter, shocked after what he had heard.
"Of course. But you won't be able to return to the clan anymore. So I suggest you stay here with your granddaughter from today onward, until we decide what to do. I'll have no problem housing you later." Minato said, and none of his other future wives seemed to protest. Only Hanabi had a more grateful look than ever toward Minato.
In the end, Minato looked at Kushina. She was more than capable of doing it on her own now, having the power of the Kyuubi and the knowledge of how to nullify the seal. It would be easy. She would do it in a few minutes.
While she worked, Minato spoke again.
"Well, let's analyze the situation and see what we can do from now on." Minato decided, as Tsunade and Nawaki nodded.
