Minato and his family had their meeting with Jiraiya, Tsunade, and Nawaki at Mount Myōboku, appearing accompanied by the two children.
"Hi, Mom," Tsunade heard, seeing her daughter with a shy look while holding a baby — a girl — in her arms.
Her steps were long as she quickly moved toward the girl, while Tsunade stopped in front of her daughter, with Hikari still looking curiously at the woman in front of her. Even Nawaki approached, curious, looking at the baby.
"Her name is Hikari. It means light." Tsuna replied to her mother, while she saw Tsunade's arms being extended toward the baby. Tsuna handed the baby to her mother.
"This is your grandmother, Hikari." Tsuna said, watching Tsunade take the child carefully into her arms.
"My God, look at you..." Tsunade murmured, with a clear glow of grandmotherly love in her eyes. The baby stared at her curiously, observing the older woman.
"She looks so much like you. There are no real doubts," Nawaki commented, laughing cheerfully. "You three always seem to multiply one after another..." he said, given the resemblance that the three blondes had or could have. And before he could realize it, Nawaki received a punch from his own sister on top of his head.
"Don't talk like that, you're scaring the child," Tsunade said, while Nawaki brought his hand to his head from the impact.
"You're scaring the child more than I am," he grumbled, while Tsunade turned her attention back to the baby, hugging her affectionately. The little girl ended up being squeezed a bit, but she seemed to like it.
Minato and the others watched the scene, and when Jiraiya started laughing, he also approached, smiling.
"Minato, this little girl is still going to give you trouble in the future," Jiraiya commented. "Especially if she's like her grandmother."
"Shut up, Jiraiya," Tsunade growled, turning her attention back to the baby.
She then turned to her daughter, kissing Tsuna on the forehead. "I'm so proud of you, Tsuna. You became strong and you're also a mother..." Tsunade said.
They stayed there talking for a while. Minato was holding Itachi in his arms, the boy always curious, observing everything around him just like his sister.
The group also talked about Orochimaru's situation, who had been officially declared a rogue ninja, expelled from the village and included in the Bingo Book with a high bounty coming from Konoha.
Minato knew that he was probably in the Land of Sound, where there were already signs that he was starting to put down roots.
In the end, everyone returned to Uzumaki territory.
The months passed from then on. Minato continued his training with all of his hakis, further increasing his proficiency, while at the same time giving attention to his family.
Each of the girls demanded a date on the moon after hearing about Kushina, and Minato ended up taking all of them. Kushina served as his chakra "battery" so Minato and the others could go and return.
Hanabi also continued receiving chakra and the genetics of Toneri Ōtsutsuki. Over the months, her body began to adapt to the new cells, until, finally, her eye was fully developed three months after the start of the chakra and cell implementation.
Her power scale increased drastically. Her chakra exploded from one day to the next, reaching levels comparable to that of a bijū. She was able to assume the same transformation that Toneri had used in Naruto: The Last, surrounding her body with a layer of chakra similar to Kurama's, but in a greenish tone with white hues.
Hanabi acquired repulsion powers and gravity control, very similar to those of the Rinnegan. Her speed was comparable to Kushina in full Kurama mode. At the same time, she had powerful arrows and could even materialize arrows without being transformed, using only chakra and creating chakra-made bows, firing projectiles capable of causing explosions at the level of S-rank jutsus with a simple movement. When using her full power, she could cause Bijuudama-type damage with her arrows.
Hanabi was proud. Now, her power had surpassed all the Hyūga in the history of that world, becoming something none of them had ever even dreamed of achieving. She felt proud and also grateful; after all, she would never have acquired that power without help. Even so, she could not help but think that she had grown only as a talented member of the clan, but had always been denied the main abilities for being from the secondary branch of the family.
Minato used to say that he would really like to see the faces of those old Hyūga clan elders when they discovered the power Hanabi possessed. He also wanted to see their expressions when, one day, she demonstrated her current strength in front of them, considering that she had already taken down many Hyūga on the night of Konoha's civil war. No one in the village could defeat her. The only ones comparable to her were her peers there.
Tsunade had also transcended. She was the one who had begun to occupy the position of the weakest among them after Hanabi acquired her power. Even so, she did not lag behind for long. Her intense training with Mokuton continued, and she became increasingly proficient. Soon, she was already able to perform jutsus that had previously caused her difficulty, such as the Wood Dragon, and even create the legendary Hashirama golem capable of fighting a Susanoo; she ended up acquiring these jutsus through the scrolls and records she had taken from her clan.
She had already surprised her mother and Nawaki at Mount Myoboku when she performed Wood Release in front of them, leaving everyone shocked and questioning how she had achieved something that, until then, seemed impossible.
Minato had indirectly provided the main chakra that Tsuna needed for her Kekkei Genkai. At one point, Tsunade had cast a strange look at him, laden with a silent desire. The explanation given by her daughter was the simplest: it was because of their child. The inherited chakra passed down by the father made all the difference for Mokuton to be awakened in Tsuna's body.
Similarly, Kushina had also entered complete synchronization with Kurama, easily mastering his transformations. The same happened with Mikoto, who continued fighting on equal footing with Tsuna and Kushina during training sessions and in remote regions. Even Hanabi participated in battles without transforming into something gigantic.
All of them surpassed any other ninja in the current world.
Still, there was one who did not. Minato surpassed all of them. His haki had become so powerful that he could cause internal damage, regardless of the transformation they were in. His speed was impossible to follow when he transformed into light, especially when combined with the destructive power of Armament Haki, which had already reached the level of internal damage.
Six months had passed since the last meeting with Jiraiya and the others, when Minato finally made a decision. He was already powerful enough, and there was nothing more that needed to be done there. He was confident that he could deal with Black Zetsu and Madara.
His companions were strong enough to protect themselves, and his children would also be safe.
He gathered all of his wives and met with the Uzumaki elders, who lived peacefully, already accustomed to life in the sky after having remained there for almost a year and a half.
"Well, I want to return to Konoha," Minato said.
All of them nodded, already knowing this beforehand. It was not the first time they had talked about the subject. It was not a decision made on a whim, but something they had been discussing for a long time.
"Can you guarantee everything you told us?" the clan leader asked.
"Yes. I had my conversation with Jiraiya-Sensei yesterday, and the village leaders agree with our conditions. Besides, we can't live here forever. That's why I want to do this. Integrating into the village will make it easier to protect you, especially when all the villages feel more than just greed now — hatred toward you," Minato said, already feeling the weight of the decision.
"There's not much for us to discuss. We will pass the information and our plans on to the people. They certainly won't be happy about going to Konoha after what happened, but we must also inform them that Konoha did send reinforcements in the end, and that those who handed the Uzumaki clan over to the other nations are no longer in power," Mū Uzumaki said.
His companions nodded, and Minato was satisfied with the answer. Finally, it was time to return to the village.
"Well, we will have the protection of the Namikaze clan, so there is no reason to fear anything," the leader said, while looking at the Namikaze family.
They might seem like ordinary people there, but he knew that their power scale had increased absurdly. Through his sensory abilities, he could feel that Kushina and Mikoto were already powerful, but had become even stronger. He also did not fail to notice the difference in the abilities of the other two, who had grown drastically. All five were true chakra bombs trapped in human bodies, each one with an aura capable of destroying the entire clan on their own.
The clan leader even tried, at one point, to pair his granddaughter with Minato. He wanted not only to create alliance ties, but also to strengthen his lineage, as he clearly saw in the children of that family. However, he did not succeed. He knew the reason: his granddaughter Asuna could not compare, neither in the history that all of them shared with Minato, nor in power, to the four women Minato had married.
That family alone could face the entire ninja world. The legends of the past spoke of great powers that were comparable to each one of them, and now there were five in total.
The Uzumaki leader knew that the future would be decided by the people in front of him.
"Alright, then let's begin. How is this going to work? We don't want to leave the island behind..." one of the elders said.
"We can open a space beside the village and fit the island there," Minato suggested, and everyone seemed to agree that it would be easier.
The village would grow exponentially. Even so, it could not be fully integrated with the island without merging with it, since the island was much larger than the village itself. It would be positioned in the forests nearby, as a separate city, but close to Konoha, always able to assist one another.
"Well, this will require a lot of chakra. Can anyone do this?" one of the elders asked.
"I can," Hanabi said. "I have enough chakra to open the ground and fit the entire island." She spoke confidently. "With my chakra and the Earth element, this will be easy. Not to mention that Tsunade can also help, sharing the Earth element."
Everyone nodded, agreeing with the plan.
Either way, the decision was made, and now they would return to Konoha.
Minato left the Uzumaki clan taking care of the preparations, while the girls returned home, where Kushina's mother was taking care of the babies. He did not go with them; instead, he moved directly to Konoha, appearing openly in the village, on top of the head of the First Hokage, a place he had never left since the day he departed.
He simply jumped from the stone head and landed on the ground without suffering any damage, surprising a few people passing by. With his hand in his pocket, he began walking toward the Hokage building like any other citizen of Konoha. The ninjas had already noticed his presence and immediately stopped in front of him, including members of the ANBU.
"Minato Namikaze..." they said, with disbelief, surprise, and even a certain caution.
"Hello, everyone. I'm here to speak with Sakumo. As I had said before, I have now made a decision," he said.
The ninjas disappeared, but not completely; they merely concealed themselves, while others went to inform Sakumo that Minato had returned. Shortly after, they came back with the confirmation and the order to summon all the current councilors.
Meeting with them was easy after that. While Minato talked with Sakumo about the village and the operations to control the borders amid the growing movement of other nations and against Orochimaru, the elders arrived, greeting Minato one by one.
"My grandson?" asked Mizu Uchiha. He already seemed to be of advanced age. His body showed signs of weakness, and Minato could tell that he would soon pass on the clan leadership.
"He is very healthy. He will be a strong boy," Minato replied, making the man nod, still serious, but visibly satisfied.
"I heard that my daughter faced the Third Raikage before you killed him," he asked, with interest and pride.
"It's true, but you'll be able to talk about that when she returns with us," Minato replied.
Soon after, everyone sat down to talk. The meeting lasted for hours, as they decided what to do with the enormous island. Minato explained his plans in detail, while the elders discussed how to implement the new system, integrating the Uzumaki clan into the village and imagining how expeditions and missions would increase from that point onward.
Konoha had already been receiving a much larger number of mission requests than the other nations. After the failure in the battle against Uzushiogakure, many villages had lost trust in terms of the mission market.
Konoha, on the other hand, had not directly participated in the confrontation, despite having intended to intervene. Because of that, it did not lose many ninjas, and Minato, being a shinobi of Konoha, had drastically elevated the village's reputation, along with his wives, also strengthening the prestige of their clans.
In the end, only one decision was made: the Uzumaki clan would finally come to Konoha in the coming days.
Minato left the council shortly after. It was time to help move the island to the Land of Fire.
