Aria clasped her hands around the lethargic Hayden's and implored, "Hayden, please.”
She bit her lower lip and whispered pitifully, “I promise this is the last time. If he doesn't change, I'll leave quietly." Aria knew Hayden had tried his best for her, even risking his relationship despite all he was going through.
Even if Hayden decided not to help her anymore, she'd still be glad for all he had done. But just one last time was all she needed.
Hayden sprawled on the bed with no intention of leaving his sense of comfort. He clung to his pillow and mumbled in a lazy, annoyed tone, “There are plenty of better men out there…”
"Like Zenos." Aria sat straight and whispered under her breath, yet her voice was loud enough for Hayden to hear.
Hayden's expression changed; he sprang up and flared in anger. He pointed at Aria and scowled, "You dare? I’ll kill you if you dare touch or seduce my man…”
