"What was that?"
Long Tian stopped what he was doing and turned to Gambler. His eyes curious and his hands itchy to try a new martial art.
"Heh…"
Giving a light chuckle, Gambler rubbed the back of his neck before sighing.
'Whatever… I just want to see what he can do. Not like my family's martial art is any secret…'
Stepping onto the martial floor, Gambler took out his deck of cards. Cards he uses often to play poker and gamble, which is where he got his name from.
"I want to teach you a neat little trick," he began, playing with the cards in his hands.
"A 'trick' you say?"
Long Tian smirked as he took noticed of Gambler's peculiar hand movements. His golden eyes rolled and he instantly saw through his movements.
'It's a hidden weapon technique…'
Gambler shuffled the cards and Long Tian watched in an impressed manner as Gambler made the cards disappear and reappear constantly. They appeared everywhere along his hands and sometimes traveled from one hand to the other without one noticing.
"This is Sleeveblade," Gambler explained, making the cards all disappear at once.
"That's quite a nice technique," Long Tian said truthfully.
Gambler nodded, smiling a little proudly.
"It's a VERY nice technique," he said. "Its best paired with a dagger and assassination skills."
"Interesting…"
Long Tian nodded and went to the side where he grabbed a wooden dagger from a nearby training rack. He closed his eyes, recalling Gambler's movements before beginning to replicate them.
At first, his movements seemed a little stiff, but very quickly, Long Tian moved quite masterfully.
His golden eyes lit up and he nodded.
'This helps train my hands and arms agility and dexterity,' Long Tian thought as he recalled the muscles he needed to move.
Whilst Long Tian comprehended Sleeveblade and improved upon it, Gambler stood to the side shocked. He had only shown the technique once and Long Tian had already completely memorized it.
Not to mention that he was mastering at a shocking speed!
"Fuck me… what a talented guy," cursed Gambler in amazement.
He continued to watch, hoping to catch a glimpse of anything that might help him improve.
An hour later, Long Tian finally stopped. He felt like the control and dexterity of his hands and arms had increased exponentially.
"That was quite amazing," Gambler said, seeing Long Tian finally stop training. "How'd you do it? Actually never mind, everyone has their own secrets."
Long Tian smiled but didn't say anything or react in any way. He simply stood there, waiting for Gambler to continue. To which he did, with a sigh as he smiled wryly and revealed the way he was training.
"I recommend you try the holographic machine there," Gambler said, pointing at a machine not too far from them.
"That one?"
Long Tian turned his head to look at the machine that Gambler mentioned. A simple machine that focused on just the hands and arms.
A machine that had been made specifically for a popular hand training platform that was also known as a game by some.
Hand of God
It puts to the test one's flexibility and nimbleness in their hands. It places spots and directions throughout one's entire arms and hands that need to be touched by certain fingers.
"The better the level you get in Hands of God, the more profficient you become in Sleeveblade," Gambler explained. "Give it a try."
Long Tian nodded and went up to the machine, starting Hand of God.
"You'll start at the lowest level… At Unevolver-1, the difficulty increases greatly with each level. At every tenth level, the difficulty increases greatly before jumping to the next grade. From unevolver to evolver, etc."
Gambler waved his hand, feeling tired of explaining.
"Go ahead and try it. I need to go do some training."
Long Tian nodded.
After entering the gym early, Gambler didn't train at all. Instead, he had been looking at the porn mags Long Tian had gotten him.
Even after five whole days, Gambler didn't get tired of looking at the women.
Furrowing his eyebrows, Long Tian ignored Gambler who got to training. Turning his head, he turned on Hand of God and began playing.

Nodding his head, Long Tian continued to play.

Breezing through the levels in God of Hand, he wasn't aware of two pairs of eyes looking at his results in shock.
Gambler had just taken a 15 minute break, after working out intensely for 10 minutes…
Wondering how Long Tian's progress was going, he had arrived to Long Tian passing Unevolver - 5.
"Hou~, not bad," Gambler nodded, expecting as much.
He continued to watch, nodding his head subtly as Long Tian passed 6-8. But as Long Tian cleared 9 and 10, Gambler was slowly feeling envious and shocked.
He, who had trained in Sleeveblade since young, could only barely make it to unevolver - 9. Now, here was Long Tian, a newcomer, passing him.
"Ah… woe is me!" Cried Gambler.
As he lowered his head, he heard the holographic machine's voice.
[Pass!]
"Huh?"
Raising his head, Gambler widened his eyes.
Evolver-1
"No… I can't look any more!"
Gambler turned his head away, ashamed at feeling envious. He trusted his own experience and mastery in Sleeveblade. Even if Long Tian can perform it faster and more swiftly, he can persform it more proficiently!
As he turned his head, Gambler found Qin Xuan standing beside him. His eyes widened and he quietly walked away.
Ignoring Gambler sneaking away, Qin Xuan stared at Long Tian proudly. She looked at his hands, moving so fast that sometimes she found it difficult to see them.
As the one who had recruited him, Qin Xuan didn't feel envious or jealous of Long Tian's talent. She was proud and happy. Was her grandfather right? Should she tie him to the family?
"Ah… what am I thinking…"
Qin Xuan's beautiful face flushed and she looked away. Opening her eyes slightly, she looked at him with sparkling eyes.
"If he can evolve from God's Sanctuary with a Sacred Body, I can think about it…"
When one evolves from First God's Sanctuary to Second God's Sanctuary, the evolvee's body transforms. From a normal body, to a body based on the geno points that had obtained.
If one maxes out with just ordinary geno points maxed out, then they attain an ordinary body.
Same went with Primitive to Sacred-blood.
Of course, Long Tian attaining a Sacred Body was a piece of cake for him.
And Qin Xuan knew that.
With red face, she turned to leave after seeing how Long Tian entered the stage Evolver - 5.

The days passed and the day of the mysterious mission had finally arrived.
Qin Xuan had gathered all the elites of Bullseye and had them exit Steel Armor Shelter separately from one another. To keep Son of Heaven and Fist Guy from noticing anything, Qin Xuan had planned this.
They all grouped up together, far away, to the East of Steel Armor Shelter.
At Theel Lands, Qin Xuan and the rest had finally gathered after two days of travel. Away from view of anyone, Qin Xuan finally heaved a sigh of relief after receiving a nod from her scouts.
The scouts job was not just to scout the land ahead to where they were planning to go, but to also make sure they were not being followed.
"Alright, we will move as a group now. Ignore the primitive and ordinary creatures. Kill any mutant creatures that approach," Qin Xuan yelled, issuing her order to everyone.
The elites nodded and off they began their march forward.
"Long Tian, you will ride with me," Qin Xuan said, unaware that Long Tian already had his own mount.
"Alright."
Smiling, Long Tian didn't see why he should tell her. He jumped and sat behind her on her mount.
"… grab on to me."
Moving his hands, Long Tian placed them around Qin Xuan's slender waist. His warm and silky smooth hands pressed upon her shirt, sending his warmth through it.
"Let's move!"
Qin Xuan suddenly said, moving her mount ahead and making sure she remained at the front. From behind, Long Tian could see Qin Xuan's red ears and he couldn't help but inwardly chuckle.
Not too far from them, Yang Manli was also eyeing Qin Xuan and Long Tian. Her eyes narrowed and a frosty look in her eyes.
'Didn't you say he was mine, Xuan?' Yang Manli pursed her lips.
She didn't voice her opinion and just quietly watched.
'Fine, two can play that game…" Yang Manli thought, lightning flashing through her eyes.
Her competitive spirit was ignited, and even if Qin Xuan is her best friend, she won't hold back. She turned her gaze and looked at Long Tian, narrowing them as she clicked her tongue in mild annoyance.
"Tsk…"

Two weeks later, the elite group of Bullseye finally stopped right before a lake.
"This is the place…" muttered Qin Xuan.
They stood meters away, keeping an eye on the creature as the group hid. A large creature stood at the lake, revealing its beautiful and wild body.
"Is that a unicorn?"
"Wow, it's quite beautiful…"
The unicorn creature was muscular and two meters tall from the ground to its shoulders. Black in color, including its tail and mane that were even darker. The horn on its head seemed to absorb the light from its surroundings as it was shrouded in darkness.
"Is that…"
"Quiet!" Yang Manli stepped forward, silencing everyone. "As many know, Leader Qin has been searching and tracking for many mutant and sacred-blood creatures.
However, due to lack of strength and manpower, we have been limited in the hunts. Leading us to rely on Son of Heaven and Fist Guy's gangs to take care of many sacred-blood creatures."
The group went silent, silently agreeing with what they were saying.
For many months and years, the group had to constantly receive help from Son of Heaven and Fist Guy, as well as other predecessor gangs.
It was demeaning to their strength, and they would have to surrender a percentage of the meat to them as well. Not to mention the loss of a beast soul due to the rule of the "Killing Blow".
"Times have changed!"
Yang Manli finally yelled after everyone was sad and aggrieved for a moment.
"Our group has made a breakthrough in strength and we can now successfully hunt sacred-blood creatures alone!"
"Yeah!"
"Finally!"
"More meat for us!"
Everyone erupted in quiet cheers amongst themselves. This resulted in both Yang Manli and Qin Xuan to smile whilst they both thought of similar things.
'With Long Tian, our chances of successfully killing a sacred-blood creature is much higher!'
Their gazes both turned to the young man standing with them and they couldn't help but smile. Bullseye will now grow in strength and it was all thanks to Long Tian.
With him around, their strength had risen and they could now hunt without calling for help.
"Gear up everyone! This creature is powerful! If you're not careful, it will impale you with its horn. Its leg strength is high, so be careful of its speed and kicks."
Qin Xuan stepped forward, taking command. Having everyone summon their beast soul weapons and armor.
"Get into positions and strike when I give the signal!"
All the elites of Bullseye moved and surrounded the beast. Yang Manli and a couple others remained in the back, pulling out boys and arrows.
Like Qin Xuan, Long Tian was in the front lines. Standing in front of the unicorn creature, Qin Xuan was tasked with keeping it distracted and being the main attacker.
On the other hand, Long Tian was a support. As well as being the most important part of this plan.
