"I never expected you to come in person," Charles turned and said to Julio beside him.

"Of course I had to come; otherwise, I wouldn't be at ease. With this guy's head as a warning, the rest should behave. I never expected it to be him."

No sooner had Julio's words faded than the black Floating Island wrapped in shadows feebly crashed to the earth, shattering into several pieces.

"Using me as bait without telling me, is that appropriate?" Charles asked again.

Julio glanced at him coldly, "I never trust anyone, not even my own son. What makes you think I would trust you? If we're being honest, you're suspected of defying the Futan Sect too."

The black shadows that enveloped the Floating Island were swiftly consumed by a ball of white flames, burning to nothingness.

Hahod, with a dark expression, walked out from the broken stones with his subordinates. Although they appeared disheveled, not one of them was injured.
