"Mr. Charles," Lily, perched on Charles's shoulder, translated what the exploration rat Tiny-Tiny had communicated. "It's weird inside, but there's no danger because there's no one there."

Frowning, Charles held the telescope, observing the steamboat that lay stopped on the Gobi Beach in the distance.

From the traces found, the ship seemed to have set off a month and a half ago. Charles had sent a few ships ahead to scout immediately after securing the trace photos of 068, and this was one of those vessels.

But now, the metal ship had completely changed its appearance; the streamlined hull had become extremely strange and twisted.

It was as though the ship had been turned into modeling clay and then played with by a child for half an hour, there must have been some encounter for the ship to have ended up like this.

"Let's go, we'll have a look," Charles said, stepping forward towards the distant vessel.
