"What wish do you plan to make?" Shanshan looked at her father again.
"If you don't help Mom become a God, she might throw a big tantrum."
Charles walked over, gently patted her on the back of her head, "Don't worry about that, Daddy will take care of everything."
"Really?" Shanshan looked at him with doubt, "Mom says you're very unreliable, and I feel the same."
Charles looked at his daughter speechlessly, aren't daughters supposed to be closer to their dads? How does his own child seem different? "Don't listen to your mom, spend more time with me in the future."
Shanshan looked down at the dirt on the ground, muttering softly, "Where was this earlier, during my rebellious phase? Does showing paternal love now really help?"
Just then, there was a commotion from the Foundation building in the distance. Norden emerged with the body of that green centipede from the moss-covered glass door. His body had some scratches, and he was carrying two floor tiles with four hands.
