Nini carefully closed the workbook in her hands, raised her arms and stretched with a yawn, "Ah~! Finally done, it was so hard, it made my head hurt."
After neatly placing her workbook and pencil case into her backpack, Nini thought for a moment and then walked over to the bulky monitor, gently pressing a square button.
"Beep~!" With the sound of static, the screen lit up, though she didn't insert a cassette but picked up a brass key and twisted it into the slot on the right side of the television.
Soon, a new image appeared on the snow-filled screen, the latest TV program, which in Nini's understanding, played videotapes that could run from morning till night without stopping.
The screen showed images of the docks of various islands, the navies of each island bidding tearful goodbyes to their families as they ran towards the warships on the dock.
A highly emotional voiceover narrated in the background. "Everyone! Salute our warriors! Wishing them a safe and quick return!"
