"You're interested? Then, I won't tell you," Mallory replied matter-of-factly.
Alaric clicked his tongue and gestured at Mike, "Yeah, we'll see about that."
In no time at all, Mike arrived at Alaric's side. In his hand was a bag, and Alaric reached into it, only to reveal a pair of pliers.
With no urgency to his step, Alaric paced around the restrained Mallory, and asked, "What's more important? A name, or your bloodline?"
Mallory's laughter soon rang throughout the silent battlefield. It was eerie and frightened every soldier nearby.
"Is he going to attack?!"
"Prepare for combat!"
"I... thought we won..."
Then, suddenly, Mallory said, "The name of the organization is 'Shallow Waters,' I am a small squad captain, and I was hoping to get promoted through this mission. I was ordered to kill you, and the reason is that you're some sort of 'otherworldly apostle,' whatever that means. I am currently under Master Croft, and I am in line to be promoted to the same rank!"
