Chapter 6
After they finish wearing there same old clothes, they quickly went to the kingdom to eat there breakfast, they went to a pretty quiet area of the kingdom to find a food place to eat at. after finding the food place, they went inside and there was little to no people inside the small western saloon like place. but that's fine with them since it's much more quiet with no people around and it's pretty cozy in the inside as well.
Both of them were walking towards the front desk to take there orders. as they sit on the bar stool and proceed to look at the menu. after looking at the dishes they finally decide on what to get with Ren going first as he tap on the bell to call the waitress.
The women was surprise on who she see's waiting on the front desk. two very popular names on the kingdom. "What can i get your order today Mr. Ren and Ms. Theresa?" she said with a smile while holding her notepad.
"Can i get five bowls full of fried rice with beef on it. and for the drink just a glass of water." he said as the waitress write down his order then Theresa speak after he finish placing his order. "For mine may i have 1 bowl of fried rice with chicken and a lemonade for my drink. that will be all."
"Alright." she said as she write down the last piece of order. "Wait for about 10 minutes or so." then off she goes back to the kitchen.
Ren then glance at her since he has been down for about a week and he's thankful enough that he took care of his body. "Your not much of an eater aren't you?"
"Hm?" there eyes finally met. "No, not really I do usually eat alot but not as much as you do. right now I'm just not hungry."
He didn't respond but started to get curios in those day he was asleep, what happened to the kingdom? did he show to much of his power that the people might see him as the fire dragon even though he is? he didn't really want his true identity revealed to the whole kingdom since that will cause a panick amongst the people.
"Hey Theresa."
"Yes?"
"Can i ask you about something?"
"Sure go ahead. tell me something you want to know."
"Well first of all what happened to the kingdom when i was asleep for a week? did the do some damaged or was it all okay since i wasn't really paying attention?" he then went closer to her ear and whispered. "Did you heard some rumors talking about me?"
Theresa was caught off guard on the last sentence he said so she cleared up her throat and speak. "The kingdom is all well and fine like it usually do and the demon didn't really do some damaged nor serious one since there was a barrier and my portals protecting it."
She took a slight pause to gather her breath and whispered to him. "And about you. well i haven't heard anybody talking about you and your thing, the only thing i heard were people praising you and thanking you for saving the kingdom from the scary demon."
That's the only thing he need's to hear 'that nobody was talking about him' and he was all relief. he let out a relief sight and smiled. "Well that's a good thing to hear, hehe."
"It really is, hehe. your released so much power you know? but it was really incredible to see how strong you really are."
"Thanks. now lets wait for our food patiently and quietly, alright?." she nodded in agreement and with that they waited for a few minutes for there food. the waitress was now back pushing a black trolley that has a black tray with six big bowls of fried rice with the five of them had beef and the other one has a chicken breast, it also has two glass of water with a big glass container full with water for refill and lastly there was Theresa's lemonade drink.
"Here's both of your orders." she said with a lovely voice as she put the tray full of food down infront of them. and following that she also put down there refreshers. "Enjoy your stay."
"Thank you very much." Theresa said with a smile and Ren shortly followed. "Thank you."
The waitress smiled and said. "Your very much welcome, now I'll leave you two at it. and also if you have something to ask or place another order just tap the bell and I'll be there."
"Alright We'll keep that in mind." she smiled and the waitress went back to the kitchen while Ren was already chowing down the first bowl and he was almost finish with it. she made a shock and surprise face. "Are you really that hungry?"
The dragon stop eating with his mouth and proceed to look at her, he then nod as he gulp down the food inside of his mouth and started eating once more. she chuckled as she also started eating slowly, letting the taste of the marinate chicken savor through her taste buds since it was a very delightful taste.
"(So delicious!)" she said in her thought with smile on her face and one of her hand on her cheek. then they continued eating there breakfast causing clanking of spoon to be made inside the western style saloon. after 20 minutes or so they were finally finish eating, they tap on the bell and Theresa payed for it since this was the best way to repay him after what happened last night. after that they went for a stroll around town. feeling the fresh air once more.
"You eat alot today, huh? you even order two more bowl full of rice. you must've been hungry after a week with not eating?"
"hehe, you've got that right, I'm stuff." he said with both of his arms behind his head. then an idea to tease her come in to his mind. a smiled formed on his and he said. "What you did last night also help me eat this much."
Theresa's cheeks immediately went flushed red that he reminded her that embarrassment night they had again. "S-stop reminding me that, is not pleasing to hear."
Ren only let out a chuckled, very amused that his tease worked on her but then again she wonder how long did they actually done it? that's what she's curious about. she was hesitant to ask at first but after a few minutes she finally decided to ask him.
"So... Ren, how exactly long did we made love to each other last night?" said Theresa in a slight nervous voice with both of her hands place on her lap as she walk.
Ren then pause and think about since the only thing her remember was blacking out. "I don't really remember anything, my mind went blank half way through it, you were so rough and dominant last night, it was like you were the dragon queen and i was the weak dragon servant."
Theresa cheek's then turned more red when she heard that since the way he said it in a clam voice was something else. "Umm... let's forgot what happened last night, alright?"
"Sure thing."
"By the way, since your a fire hunter, are you immune to fire?"
Ren got confuse on why she called him a 'fire hunter' since he completely forgot about him being the fire dragon. "Huh? fire hunter?"
"I'm calling you that because were walking around the kingdom and-" she then went close to Ren's ear and whispered. "People might overhear us and they might panicked if i call you the fire dragon, which you are."
"Oh yea i forgot about that, hehe" he was dumbfounded considering they talk about this earlier. "And for the one your questioning. I'm not really immune to fire, i just have a certain resistance to it and i still get burn if the heat are extremely immense. what about you, what kind of dragon are you?"
"Umm..." she tried to think of a response. "I don't really know myself that much, i guess I'm a light dragon because i can use light magic." after she said that she quickly think of something to ask him that she want's to know. after a few second she finally decided on what she will tell him. "Hey Ren, do have any relatives or a parent?"
"I don't really have any relatives or a parent, atleast that i know of. I'm just really on my own." then it was his turn to ask her the same question. "How about you, do you have any relatives or a parent?"
"Well... i only have a sister and she's one of the 6 knights, and i also have a mother."
"(6 knights? interesting, could it be-) your sister is a vampire, right?"
"Yea she-wait!" Theresa was shocked on how Ren now that. "how do you know that? i never told you before that i had a sister, right?"
Ren then let out chuckled. "I'II tell you once we get home." then he put his arms around her shoulder. "Alright, but why at your house?" Theresa was confuse on why Ren want to tell her at his home but she too forget that's also a secret that need to be kept with them.
"Other hunter's and knights are here at the kingdom they might overhear our conversation about the 6 knights. the 6 knights wants there name to be hidden from the kingdom, right?"
"That's very true." they both then stop on there tracks as she suddenly open a portal right in front of them. "We will go through this portal for faster travel."
He made a face not trusting her word that much. "Where does this portal exactly go?" he said as he went closer to it, Theresa then smiled. "To your home." she then pushed him through the portal without giving him a warning then she immediately followed Ren through the portal.

30 seconds later at Ren's house. the portal appeared horizontally above right next to the campfire, then he was thrown out of the portal and he landed face first. "That worked but-"
Theresa then shortly followed and she land on top of Ren on his back precisely. "I'm sorry Ren, sometimes the portal redirects people from were there landing, hehe." she chuckled nervously with a arm behind her head.
"It's alright, but can you get off me?"
"Oh alright." she then gets off his back as he stand up and patted slight of the dirt on his pants. "so, how did you know my sister is a vampire?" they were both standing on the edge of the mountain watching the beautiful scenery of the kingdom and the nature around them.
"In the past month's or so the 6 knights are coming here, especially your sister, she come's here more often than the 5, and she tried to bite me several times but she utterly failed. your sister name is Morgan or Morrigan right?"
"Her real name is Morgan but she likes to use our Mothers name Morrigan and she is also a vampire." she corrected him
Ren then immediately realize that the sister are from different races. the one is a vampire and the one is a dragon. how come they're sisters? "If you two are sister's, how come she's a vampire and you are a dragon? your not a half vampire, half dragon are you?"
She let out a sigh of confusion. "Honestly i don't really remember, the only thing i know is I'm a full blood dragon. i don't even really know why i call her sister considering are difference in blood and race. maybe i just call her that since she's really the only one i have."
"(What? how does she not Remember? is she like me? are we both finding our origins?) how about your mother? do you remember something about her."
"Well i do know her name, but my memory of her is very vague and unclear." wanting to move on from there current subject, she decide to ask Ren a different question particularly the six knights. "Do you know the other members of the 6 knights? like there names and stuff."
"The other members? that's a good question." he put a hand on his chin rethinking what they're names again. "Well i only know three members of the 6 knights."
"Can you tell me the three members. sorry if I'm asking alot."
"It's fine." he said as he cleared out his throat. "There are 6 knights suggested to there squad name. each person of the six has their rank, the first one is your sister Morrigan the vampire knight rank 4 out of the 6, the second is Pondu the gravity knight rank 6 the weakest member out of all of them although her potential is really high considering her powers, and the third one is Armis the armor knight rank 5 out of the 6 that i consider there weakest member but i still don't know what he really capable of. and the other three members i still don't know them."
"Ahhhhh i see they're very interesting individuals." she then thinks of what he said earlier on why they're coming to his house. "Hey Ren, why are the 6 knights coming to your home? do they want something from you or do they know you secret?"
"Nah they can't know my secret." he shrugged. "They want me to join them, that's why they come here." he got straight to the point
"They want you to join? why tho?"
"They just say, that they need my help for something, that's what they always say to me when they come here but i always decline there offer."
She was very confused on why the strongest squad in the kingdom needs help from one individual person. but if they actually know his secret then she understand why they want to recruit him. "Why does the 6 knights needs help? aren't they the strongest group of people in the kingdom. what kind of offer are they giving you?"
"If i join them i will become the leader of the 6 knights and be the dragon knight. and they will give me anything i want in the world, that's the offer they're giving me."
Theresa was confuse on why Ren didn't take their offer. i mean it was a good offer. i she was in that situation she would probably take it right away no questions ask. "Why won't you join them? i mean it doesn't sound like a bad idea to join."
"I don't really want a high status or be the leader of that group, and they will never know what i truly want."
His words surprised her once again. "What you want? if you keep declining their offer, what do you want exactly?"
"What i want?" he paused and continued, "Well I'm still searching for it. . . i want to know my origin."
"Your origin?" Ren then open his own type of pocket and pulled out a book and he proceed to hand it over at Theresa. "Here take a look at this."
She gladly took the book from his hand. "What's this?" she then read the title of the book. "It say's the dragon soul and at the bottom of the book it say's. "if you want to know your origin, your parents and your true powers you must search for the dragon soul this is the book to guide you Ren." the book knows your name, and it's say's were inside the realm of the mortals." she raised one of her brow confuse on what she read. "What's that?" she then handed the book back to ren
"I don't really know either." he said as he put it back to his pocket and close it immediately, "I haven't even open it to see what's it say. i just keep inside my portal. "
Theresa was thinking of joining Ren to his journey, but she was hesitating join since they only have met last week, but she made up her mind considering that she took care of his body after all. she cleared her throat and said. "I will join you to find the dragon soul, are you alright with that?"
Ren was taken back the words came out of her mouth, she want's to join him? "What?! wouldn't you have other journey's to do?"
"Well... i don't really know were to go, so I'II just follow you at your path, i might also find something interesting about myself and my true parents."
Ren then suddenly hugged Theresa with his nose buried on her hair smelling the pleasant scent he usually smell from her. "Are you sure about this? There's a highly chance of you to get hurt or even worse than that. are you really sure about your decision joining?"
Theresa hugged back back with the side of her cheek now touching his chest. "I'm sure about this, because your the only person i ever loved." Theresa realize what she said and then her face started to get flushed from the embarrassment.
Ren cheeks slightly turned red. "What?! love? when did that came about?"
She was blushing hard with her face tomato red, she then broke the hug and looked up . "W-what?!" she quickly went over to the door of Ren's house, opened it and slamming the door as she went inside. she then laid on the bed pillow in front of her face. "(What was i thinking saying that, we only know each other for about a week)"
"Love huh? Hm." Ren smiled then he went inside the house and they still have plenty of hours to talk or could either sleep since they were still tired.
