Arad blinked twice and then reached into his stomach and pulled one of the angels that now served Eris. The angel looked at him for a moment, bowed, and then looked around. "Is something wrong?" She didn't fail to notice the mountain of divine energy that is Mathilde.
"She just said that the halo is an angel's real body." Arad looked closer at the angel's halo, and Mathilde was right. The halo was the real angel, and the body beneath was just a projection. The only reason angels go down when their projected body dies is that they don't have enough divine magic to recreate it.
This means the way to fight weaker angels is to aim for the halo.
The angel looked at her halo for a long moment and then tilted her head, "You didn't know?"
Everyone but Mathilde shook their heads. Not that many people get to meet angels every day, and very few get a chance to get to know them well.
