Chapter 35 - Goodbye, Dalene

EARLIER

Looking at his family go by, Micheal laid back and felt like crying but he couldn't do it, since he was on a Juvi bus. He looked around as he saw the other inmates and questioned why he was there.

As they arrived, he was guided to his cell, getting glimpses of others and their cell. One of them legit had his middle finger off as he used his pinky to drink his liquor. Micheal hoped that he wasn't going to get someone like that, arriving at his cell. He was pushed in as the guard behind closed the gate and swirled the keys in his pockets. To his surprise, Micheal didn't get a tough guy but a feminine one who seemed to have used the pain from the wall to put lipstick on. Too tired to care, Micheal went to his bed and cried himself to sleep.

PRESENT

Playing the song, Bust them by Teenage Squirrel, Dalene made her way to the shower, refreshing up. Making her way to the coffee machine, her phone rang as she was stunned to see Janice's name. It couldn't be her. But what if it was? She ignored it and made her way to the room as it rang again. She was tempted. What if it was her, she wondered.

Picking up the phone, Janice greeted her.

"Hey, babe"

"Is it actually you?"

"Yeah. I had to hide since Ponda was going after me."

"I can't believe it's you"

"I know... I want to see you. I miss you"

"Well, where do you want to meet," Janice said, hoping it would be the place she was thinking to prove it was Janice.

"The bar, where we first met" Janice replied, Dalene jumping in joy.

"See you there," She hung up, smiling.

She couldn't believe it was Janice. Her baby cakes was alive after all. She grabbed her bag, got in the car and drove off to someone quickly.

The silence was loud. They both gazed at each other, hoping one of them would say something. Jessica then cleared her throat as Sam looked at her and then faced the ceiling again. She saw his disappointment. He wasn't happy and not in a million years did she ever want to be the reason he was upset, not again. She sighed as she tapped his shoulder. 'Yeah, why not,' she said. Sam blushed as he pulled her close to his face and devoured her mouth. Smitten, Jessica went on top of him as they made sweet sour love.

As she landed on her back, she looked at him and said, 'We should check on my eggs first. I want to make sure they are in good condition,' 'Anything for my soon-to-be mother of my child,' Sam said, heading to the shower. Jessica didn't want a child but for the happiness of Sam, she had to.

Arriving at Lance's place, Dalene folded the paper in half as she made her way to his door and knocked. Opening, she found herself facing Emma, trying to see if Lance was in there. 'Where is he?' 'Oh, yeah. He left with Baby Mama to the clinic,' she replied. Dalene frowned as she handed over the letter to Emma and told her strictly to only give it to him when he arrived, making her way back to the car and driving to the bar.

Upon waiting for the results, Jessica was nervous. She was hoping that the doctor would return and provide them with bad news so she wouldn't have to carry a living being for nine bloody months excluding the back pain and endless gaining of weight with vomiting in between. Entering the room, the doctor opened the file as he showed his relief to both of them. 'Lucky for you guys, Jessica's eggs are perfect and Sam, your sperm is fertile enough to make her conceive twins,' he said, Sam smiling in joy as Jessica faked her. Shit, now all she could hope was that she didn't need to have twins. 'Aren't you excited,' Sam asked, snapping Jessica out of her thoughts. 'Oh, I'm ecstatic,' she lied as Sam jumped in for a hug. He then moved closer to her ear, whispering, 'Get ready to lose those birth control pills. It's time for me to plant my seed.'

EARLIER

On his way to the cafeteria, Micheal was trying to receive his food as three buff boys pushed him to the ground. He grunted as one of them picked him up by his neck. 'Please. I don't want to cause you guys any trouble,' 'Trouble? Your existence makes me sick,' the boy says as he throws Micheal on the table. About to punch him, the feminine boy intervened as he told the boys to move along and they obeyed him. Micheal was surprised as he grabbed the boy's hand and helped himself up.

'Uh, thanks?' 'Don't bother, Honey. You just need to chill with me and you'll be A-O-K,' as the boy walked and Micheal followed.

PRESENT

Awaiting Janice, the club got empty Dalene tried calling Janice but this time instead of voicemail, the voice told her that the number no longer exists. Shocked, a bullet went right through the glass of wine she ordered as Dalene ordered, forcing her to jump behind the chair. The shooting increased as Dalene tried searching for her gun and realised she left it in her car as the shooting stopped.

She immediately tried to run but she bumped into someone's leg and saw this tall woman who wore a mask. 'Who the fuck are you?' she asked as the stranger clicked their guy. 'Say hi to Janice for me.' Shooting Dalene right through her head. The suspect continued shooting her through her chest as they made the Bartender hold the gun and then shot himself with it. The murderer smiled as they gave one look at Dalene and left the premises.

Lance laughed with Angela as Emma handed over the letter to him. 'I'll go to my room. Good night, ya'll,' she said, walking up the steps. Lance then opened the letter as he read through it and felt through the letter how she was desperate to see Janice. Lance knew it was fake, after all, he was framed for killing Anna's brother and stuck with that name until Jessica was busted. He immediately ran to his car as his phone rang.

"H-Hello?"

"Is this Lance Miller?"

"Yes, this is him," he said, starting the car.

"I'm afraid your sister has been shot and... We tried all we could," the nurse said as he dropped his phone and broke into tears. "NOO!" He shouted, hitting his head against the steering wheel.
