Noah ran around his master Darth Zash with his Sith Warblade as he watched her with narrowed eyes while they were being watched by Eskella. As he used a force push on his master, but she wasn't that affected by it as she used her own force to protect herself.
She then attacked him using force lightning as it shot towards her apprentice, but Noah wasn't a slouch either, as he ran forward as he dodged the lightning as Zash smiled to herself as he dashed towards her as she shot her lightning at him.
But he blocked it with his sword as he pushed forward towards him as her eyes widened before she used her other hand to attack him as well. But he used his own force to move towards her as he adjusted his sword stance to block both attacks as he rushed towards her.
"You have good skill with the blade. Unfortunately, that isn't enough." Zash said as she decided to use more of the force lightning.
Noah felt more power from the lightning as he was forced to stop his advance as he grit his teeth as he wasn't used to such an attack. He had experience in physical attacks from the species that was on the planet of Odessen, but he didn't have much experience in force attacks.
And even in the academy, there weren't anyone strong enough to actually utilise such a technique so this is the first time that he is encountering something like this.
And he can say without a doubt that this is a pretty powerful force technique and if he managed to learn it in the future, then he will be able to add it to his arsenal, of course he has to learn it from his teacher whom he is currently training with.
Noah used more force as he lunged forward as he created a veil around his body using the force which was blocking the force lightning and dispersing it around him to allow him to move towards her as he made her lightning act like water around rocks.
But he knew that he had to do something fast because he doesn't think that he can keep up with it for too long as he shortened the gap between them.
But Zash didn't seem to be bothered by it as he saw the smile on her face as he then suddenly found himself flung into the air by her attack as he was shocked as he used his sword to block the lightning as he landed on the floor as he skid back as he maintained his posture.
But Zash stopped the attack as she smiled at her apprentice and sensing that she didn't want to continue, he also loosened his body and looked at her.
"You have good grasp on the basics of sith combat. But I would recommend using a light saber in place of the Warblade. But you lack power in the arts of the force, and without it, you will not be able to defeat me." Zash said to him with a smirk.
"And when will I be able to learn those arts?" Noah asked her as he stood in place.
"When you have gained more control over yourself. You have to become a true Sith, until your eyes become the bright colour of the Sith you will not be taught the arts of the force." Zash said to him as she gestured to her eyes.
"I see. I will do my best to become a true Sith." Noah said to her with a nod.
He understood her of course, he had seen his eyes whenever he was connected to the Dark side, while his eyes were orange in colour which signifies those who used the Dark side, his colour isn't as strong or bright as as Zash's own.
He is very wary of the Dark Side corrupting him, but considering the condition that is placed on him for learning the dark arts, it would seem that he would have to delve deeper and form a stronger connection with the dark side than what he currently has.
'I just hope that I won't lose myself to the dark side.' Noah thought to himself as he nodded to his master.
"That will be all for today. You have great potential as a Sith, your little servant on the other hand..." Zash said as she looked at Eskella and went silent.
But the reason was obvious to all that were present in the training room, as Eskella clenched her fists behind her back and stood straight, doing her best to now show her frustration at the words of the Sith Lord.
It has only been two days since they had left the academy, but in this time, Darth Zash had made it clear that compared to Noah, she wasn't that gifted in the arts. It also reminded the daughter about the way he father had thought of her, but she couldn't do anything about that.
Even with a lightsaber, Noah is able to take care of her without a weapon as he is able to easily disarm her without the force purely with technique. Every force user has proficiency in weapons, but there is proficiency afforded by being force users, and there is the proficiency born out of skill and practice.
And considering the fact that he can defeat her easily in the use of the force as well, she knew that she is weak in comparison to the man who she pledged her loyalty to, and if she isn't strong enough then she won't be able to get the revenge that she wanted.
Eskella clenched her jaw as she stood in place and watched as the Sith Lord left the room as Noah looked at her.
"Well, come on, we have training to do." Noah said to her as she nodded.
"Yes master." Eskella said to her Master as she pulled up her lightsaber.
"Be ready." Noah said to her as she nodded.
The moment she did so he rushed her and attacked her with quick sword slashes as she grit her teeth and tried to fend him off to the best of her ability.
Even with the fact that she is using a lightsaber and he is using a Warblade, he is still stronger and faster than her as she couldn't help but grit her teeth in anger at the fact that she isn't able to do anything.
"Weak." Noah said as he pushed her back.
"Soft." Noah said as he parried her next strike and pushed her back.
"Pathetic." Noah continued as she growled at her failed attempts at landing a hit on him.
Her eyes gained more colour as she glared at him due to her repeated failed attempts as she wasn't able to land a single attack on him as he just smirked at her, as if all her attempts were child play to him.
"Sad." Noah said before he kicked her back as she gasped.
Using a leg to attack your opponent when using lightsabers is seen as foolish move due to the fact that you could have your limbs cut off with her lightsaber, but the fact that he used his leg was confirmation that he didn't think that she would be an obstacle for him.
And this infuriated her even more. She wanted to get revenge for her father, and she has been following the orders of Noah and training as he had said, but the fact that she couldn't see any real improvement in her attack was aggravating to her as she felt impatient.
Eskella felt her anger rise as she roared and attacked with more gutso. She used the force to aid her as she attacked, as unknown to her, her strikes were much faster and stronger than before, but she wasn't aware of it as she was drowned in her anger, frustration and other dark emotions to distinguish the change.
But Noah was able to pick up on the increase in strength of the warrior as he smiled to himself as he kept on repelling her attack with ease as he has much greater skill than she has due to his experience and power as well. But he still felt happy that she is able to use her anger to increase her power, but he knew that it wasn't enough.
"Is that all you got?" Noah goaded her on as he knew that she would react to it.
Eskella didn't have control over her own emotions, which wouldn't help her as while the dark side does draw it's power from negative emotion, if they don't have control over themselves, then they would lose themselves to the very same source of power.
And he aimed to teach her better control over it, but for that to happen he first needs to fight her when she is out of control like this to see how a Sith who has no control over themselves and had been overwhelmed by their emotions act.
The way her eyes glowed was reminiscent to that of his master Darth Zash and he knew that Eskella has the ability to use the dark side well. He just has to temper her and make sure that she would be loyal to him.
'It will be an interesting experience.' Noah thought to himself as he pushed her back with a force push as he smiled at her as she glared at him and roared and charged at him.
