Hey, hope whoever's reading this has been well lately. So its been almost 5 weeks since I updated this book, (yikes) but I've briefly come back bearing news.
I actually started writing GGT years ago I came up with the idea back in 2022 and wrote it on some paper before posting the first chapter draft on WebNovel in 2023 (bonus points if you were around back then and remember the chapter title).
After I completely forgot about it and went on with my life until this year where I found the initial scrap of paper that had my idea and made me want to keep writing it. But when I reread my first initial chapter I hated it and realized how bad of a writer I was before so I deleted it and started anew cranking out two chapters a day.
Which I quickly found out was a bad idea as I slowly began to burn out and lose motivation.
So I decided to take a break to recharge as well as for personal reasons. But during my break I found myself going back to read over my work, and yet again I didn't like it. I felt like I didn't add enough substance into the causing places to seem smaller than they actually were intended to be.
I also realized that when I was writing before I would rush scenes to get to the next part of the story and I wanted to change that. I plan to add more to current chapters and maybe even write extra if I think something should be a chapter on its own, as well as plan out the next few arcs. Compared to how I was simply writing as I went before with no real framework for the story and plot direction to follow.
Alright enough of my ranting basically to sum it all up for the 4 to 5 people actually reading my crappy story since most of the comments are bots, I've grown to really like writing this story so you won't ever have to worry about me dropping it since I know how frustrating that is as a fellow reader.
It may take me a little while to post again but I'm starting to try to stockpile chapters so you won't have to wait for long whenever I take a break again. I will go back to the chapters already posted and edit the fight and chase scenes since I didn't really put to much effort into them despite them being my favorite things to write along with monster designs.
