After everyone left and I fixed all the desks the teacher showed up. Daniel ended up getting up and got escorted to the nurse's office by Yui who glared at me the whole way. He didn't seem to have any bad blood towards me, more like determination and gratitude. I think he got the message I was trying to beat into him. Brute strength means nothing unless you're an impenetrable fortress that can take any damage, or you're so fast you can't be hit. Unless you're just overwhelmingly powerful then you need skills. Daniel may be superhuman, but he's not Yujiro superhuman.
Classes went ahead as usual and nobody said anything to the teacher. There was one strange thing though. This quiet kid with blonde hair blocking his eyes was staring at me. I noticed him during the fight too, and he seemed very tense but he never made a move like it seemed he wanted to. He seemed to really care for Daniel even though he just got here. Maybe he was gay? Who knows.
[Later In The Day]
I was in a Rolls-Royce Cullinan heading towards the meeting spot. It was a high-end cafe in a suburbian area.
"This is it, boss."
My driver, Park Hyun-woo, said to me as he stopped in front of the cafe.
"Thanks, Hyun-woo, I'll be back out soon. Make sure to pay attention to your surroundings just in case it's a trap. If you feel in danger, leave. Don't worry about me, no one in that building right now can beat me. I can smell their strength from here. Do you understand my instructions?"
He swiftly nodded, and adopted a serious expression on his face.
"Good, brb."
I said with a goofy smile. And got out of the car and walked towards the door of the cafe. I reached for the door handle but had to slightly step back so the door wouldn't hit me as someone else opened it from inside.
"Joshua Park? We've been expecting you."
I was greeted by a behemoth of a man. I assumed he was African-American from the curly afro, and dark skin you don't usually see around these parts. He stepped to the side to allow me in where I saw a scrawny-looking kid with glasses sitting at a table. Next to him was a kid with the same build as him but I could smell strength radiating off of him, just like the man at the door. The baseball cap he wore hid his face from me, but from the similar scent him and the kid with the glasses I could tell they were related. Most likely twins from the similar builds and look.
"Joshua Park, pleased to meet you."
The scrawny kid with glasses spoke to me as I walked to the table and sat down. The African-American man walked up to the booth next to us and sat down. He got on a tablet. You know you're a giant when you have to use a tablet as a substitute for a phone. The guy with the hat sat across from the giant, and just looked down.
"Pleased to meet you as well,...?"
"Ah, I forgot to introduce myself how rude of me, ahaha. My name is Eugene, I am the director of Workers. The giant over there's name is Mandeok Bang, and that guy across from him is Yuseong."
The now named Eugene said with an easygoing, and disarming attitude. But he couldn't fool me. I could see it all over his body language. He's dangerous. The scheming and intelligent type. I'll have to make contingencies for him if he ever decides to come after me.
"A pleasure to meet you all. Now, Eugene, what is it exactly you want me to deliver to this hospital, how much, and how long."
Eugene smirked and pulled out a contract from a bag next to him and handed it to me.
"The contents of the transaction are there. Read through it as carefully as you'd like, and please let me know if there are any problems or questions you may have. "
I read through it and in between the lines and there were no tricks. All I had to do was have my men at Ubre deliver a few medicines, supplies, and equipment to the hospital every month for a year. At the end of every month, I'd get 500 million won. This would add up to a grand total of 6 billion won. A lucrative amount considering it was over 25% of what I've earned so far. The punishment for any breach of this contract would be paying the 6 billion with an annual interest of 7%. I could pay it any time but it would hurt my pockets a bit, so I didn't see any problem with signing. But something bothered me.
"This medicine here, it can even put elephants to sleep. Why would you need this at a plastic surgery hospital?"
Eugene narrowed his eyes and his smile became sharper.
"Last I checked that is neither your business or your concern. If you want the job take it, if you don't let me know now so I can get someone else to do it."
I just stared at him blankly for a while.
....
"BAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHHAAHAHAHA!"
I laughed in his face so loud it knocked the cups that had been sitting on the table since the beginning off the table. A worker immediately came and cleaned up the mess, and another one replaced the cups of coffee. I didn't even notice them.
"Eugene, excuse me if me laughing just now was disrespectful I would never wish for that."
His smile drooped and he now looked at me with a straight face.
"It's okay Mr. Park, but may I ask why you just laughed in my face? I thought everything I said was reasonable."
A toothy smile stretched out over my face as I said the next words.
"Oh well it's very simple, Eugene."
My smile dropped and my face became serious.
"What you said was idiotic, and you now strike me as an idiot."
Eugene now looked at me with a hint of surprise, and I felt Bang and Yoseong tense up next to me.
"Eugene, you don't know me so I will let you slide on that one. But if you ever disrespect me in any way like that again I will snap your neck and take a private jet to America with your body in my lap just to drop you on the front lawn of the white house, and piss on your corpse. If it touches my trucks it's my business. So I'll ask again, what's it for?"
Bang and Yoseong stood up at that moment. But Eugene swiftly stopped them from making any sudden movements.
"It's for a special purpose, and that's all I can tell you. Don't worry it won't be used on anyone that comes to the hospital for surgery."
I stared him in his eyes as he said every word. Before I smiled again and leaned back in my seat.
"Okay, I trust you."
After that, I signed the contract, and reached out to shake his hand. He stared at my hand for a moment, then gave me a firm handshake.
"Hm, I guess you're not some scrawny pussy after all."
At this point, I could hear Bang's knuckles popping from clenching his hands so hard.
Eugene smiled and looked me in my eyes.
"I guess not."
I just chuckled and walked out of the cafe after downing the coffee and saluting the two bystanders. I got back in the car and nodded at Park Hyun-woo.
"Where to, boss?"
I looked at him thoughtfully before answering.
"Drop me off at the karaoke spot by J High."
