Eros turned slightly and looked at Jimmy.
"Open the cage."
Jimmy stiffened. "M-My lord… is that wise?" His voice shook. "She… she did try to kill you."
Eros let out a quiet chuckle, almost amused.
"Jimmy, you truly have no idea what I'm capable of."
Those words carried no arrogance—only calm certainty.
With trembling hands, Jimmy stepped forward. He took the heavy iron key from his belt and slid it into the lock. The mechanism clicked, gears grinding. With a slow creak, the cell door swung open.
The moment it did—
Lysa lunged.
Her body shot forward like a released arrow, her eyes wild, killing intent flaring as she rushed straight for Eros's throat.
But Eros didn't even move his feet.
He simply lifted one finger.
Reality itself seemed to obey.
Lysa froze mid-air, suspended inches from him, her hair and clothes still fluttering from the momentum of her leap, her face twisted in shock and fury. No matter how she struggled, she couldn't move a single muscle.
