After a long deep sleep and some relaxing meals grey was ready to head out, his entire body was extremely sore but tolerable.
It was late evening before the pair decided to head out and after a short two hour the found small hills covered in a blanket of blue mist.
"WOW! It more beautiful than intimidating so the Demi god of endless mist lives here?" Jade asked grey as he just nodded.
"We gotta be careful, although I made a deal with him I have no clue what he wants only a vague idea. He needs me at the lowest stage of tier one for that. Ironically my body has been growing stronger because of me suppressing my runes flow." He said calmly.
As they approached a pair of golden eyes glowed in the distance as a echoing voice rung out. "Enter with haste, we got a bit of time to spare. Head straight for a bit and I'll answer any questions you may have."
Grey hopped on jades back pointing forwards and shouted "onwards" his smirk was irritating as she wrenched in pain.
"Don't jump on top ssso roughly! Your not the only one hurting." Jade said firmly while all grey could manage was a meek "sorry"
She let half of her body fall into the shadows while moving like she was in a inky black water.
In less then a minute the arrived at a area with no mist. At the center was a giant stone pyramid with a gaping entrance fit for a giant.
A giant blue bear with Beautiful golden eyes. While a red patch of fur on his neck and chest ruffled in the wind.
He seemed to be about 8 meters tall standing up which was about the same height as a giraffe or a small tree.
He approached the pair slowly but full of strength and confidence.
The only Demi gods grey has ever met were Don the owl Demi god of pranks but he was more of twisted play my games and be rewarded kinda being. While he couldn't be too sure about the holy lion and chimera he met earlier.
But it felt like teddy had more of a presence to him for some reason.
His voice no longer echoing but let out a low rumble as he spoke. "Before you ask any questions let what's going on exactly so you'll have an idea of everything."
"I am teddy dreams The last of the fire bears when I was younger I was summoned to another continent which spared me from being eaten by a sky shark raid. After being summoned I was bound to a master and quickly became more powerful."
"I eventually became a demigod and helped her become the queen in her land after a few years she fell in love and had a child but died giving birth. Her daughter has a similar attribute to summon creatures but I'm too powerful for her and no ordinary animal is good enough to protect her wholeheartedly."
"And the future is looking very chaotic and dangerous so I need someone loyal, committed, driven and have a high potential for growth. Until she can summon me one day."
Grey sat there in thought for a few seconds "she probably just awakened recently and needs a creature at a similar level as her, which is where I come in. And in order to ensure she gets total protection your willing to ensure my friends and family live safely in your land under your protection. Correct?"
Teddy just smiled "I'm glad you understand, yes which is why I had you stay a lower tier one while strengthening your body. The stronger the body the longer you can stay at her side. And with your chimera abilities you can probably stay there indefinitely if you eat the right creatures."
Grey looked spooked for a second. Of course the Demi god that excels at gathering information knew he was a chimera albeit a lesser one but still a chimera.
Teddy acted like he didn't out grey as the enemy of every race for chimeras have made enemies at every turn for power. "After I link you and her and the summoning is complete I will give you a one time use mist gate stone. It will open a portal that leads here for your family and friends."
Jade just silently coiled up into a bundle to watch the two talk she was to lazy to care about all the details.
Grey thought for a moment; on one hand he will have the backing of a demigod for his family and his powers will be quickly enhanced. On the other his family's fate will be in his paws while he will be away for a long time to protect them.
But then he remembered what scarlet said how they will attack all nearby burrows while the central burrows won't do a thing to stop it.
"Will I be able to come back to deal with some trouble makers that need beating." Grey asked.
Teddy let out a small chuckle "granted you ensure she is safe within the time you'll spend away."
"That's troublesome there's only so much I can do alone for her." Grey questioned.
"For every tier her powers grow she'll be able to summon one additional creature it could be a result of personality or random. Which is why I have to manually link you to her while other summoners have to fight and subdue a random creature without dying to command them."
"I see… when do we start." Teddy just replied with a ~soon~.
In the middle of the woods surrounded by glowing bug and shining stars while the moon stared at them from above only half her face gazed down on them illuminating the area.
A man with tanned skin and glowing purple eyes stood at a distance his ears stretched far out whilst his gaze fixated on a you lady with green hair and eyes with the same dark skin and long ears.
She sat at the center of a mystical magic circle surrounding her.
A small fracture in space appeared as a small creature emerged from the crack.
A grey ball of fur bounced towards them before unfolding into a small rabbit. Its voice rung out "is this the Arrival process?"
Her dad behind her spoke up in surprise "it can speak our language? How?
