Lilly woke up in a smaller body hidden in in some cabinets when she looked at herself she realized this was the body of herself when she was a child.
Heard some voices coming in so she stayed hidden as two dark elf maids walk in and closed the door. both of them looked like normal slim dark elves with black hair and golden eyes looking.
The one with short hair spoke first.
"Did you hear that the moon saint said that the young miss shouldn't have been born, her fate was to die before birth but instead the mistress died protecting the child making that child an anomaly.
The long haired on gasped
"Aren't anomaly's those rejected by fate and chaos, children that are usually hunted down by the abyssal claw?"
The short one nodded. "Yeah apparently it one of the abyss creatures that either recruits or kills all anomaly's they find so that means we are all in danger because she was born."
Lily heard them and her entire body froze her breathing stopped hear that her mother died because of her and a strange demon was hunting her for just being born she started hyperventilating as tears fell down her and everything felt almost darker.
Mister flos poked his head through the door with a smug grin and quickly shushed the two maids with his fingers quickly.
They just nodded as he quietly crept inside the room and tried to whisper. "Don't speak i am playing hide and seek with my daughter and this is the last room in the manor."
The maids eyes widened as they gulped and looked at each other. Flos took their looks of worry as proof she was hidden here which made him smile even more.
He looked around carefully before he heard heavy breathing coming from some cabinets near a table.
He quickly dashed and open the door "Surprise! I found you my little bund…le?"
The surprised flos expected to see a surprised lily but instead saw a terrified little girl. He quickly picked her up in his arms and rocked her gently "it's ok little one what happened talk to me." She wouldn't calm down or stop crying so he glared hatefully at the maids in the room "WHAT THE HELL HAPPEND!!!" He roared.
The maid were too shocked to speak before lilys small but broken voice rung out. "Pa am… am I anomaly? Did I kill mom?" She asked terrified and still breathing heavily.
He galred at the maids in the corner trying to walk away directing all his killing intent at them before he call out "HUGO! Deal with them. As for you my little bundle don't worry your mother loved you so much she gave her life so you could be healthy. You are our bundle of light and joy we love you with all our hearts."
As he finished calming down Lily Hugo appeared from a mist and teleporting away with the maids without a word.
As Lily calmed down she blinked and now she was a little older standing in a empty hallway of the wooden manor. She looked around before a look of realization dawned on her "oh no?"
The next moment a explosion erupted as humoid creature covered in a mass of darkness with black smoke coming from its body erupted from the walls.
His glowing white eyes stared at her as his almost empty voice rung out like a loud whisper everywhere. "You…time…glitch join us or return to nothingness."
Lilys legs trembled as she mumbled to herself "a abyssal claw!" She took a few steps back as the entire area was shrouded in darkness.
It unhinged what seem to be its jaw and unleashed a beam of white light at her.
She dropped to her knees in a panick watching it come closer.
The next moment a mist appeared before her blocking the beam as her dad and Hugo came out.
Her dad looked pissed as he held a hand axe in both hands covers in a blue aura. He quickly charged at the beast as it made blades of light to counter him.
"Young miss it's to soon to give in to despair. Get up and run well deal with it." Hugo said firmly as he watch flos clash with the beast
She looked at Hugo surprised "but father doesn't have a elemental Rune? And your runes are mainly support? How could I leave you guys i went through my awakening ceremony last week if I could summon a strong enou—"
"NO!!… sorry for my rudeness young miss but if you summon a random creature now it could make this whole thing worse. As for me and your father this is how we've always been, he fights up close using just the Raw flow of his soul force to enhance himself and his storage trait to keep a bunch of weapons at the ready while I support him with my mist gates and my healing he gots this so get to safety."
Lily was about run away when looked back she saw her dad fighting it when she had sudden flashback blinking in and out of her vision of that mosnster holding her dad with a blade of light through his side.
"No…no.. NO!! Not again I can't keep waiting to be saved." She yelled out as she run forward using the raw flow in her body to speed up as she punched the abyss claw in its empty face.
It let out a loud and horrible scream as she got into a fighting stance and dashed forward to kill it.
The next moment she stumbled into the grassy floor she was at earlier.
She quickly got up and looked around.
To her left was a injured Adam, his grey skin all cut up but healing slowly with grey laying atop extremely exhausted.
She turned and saw he father watching from the tree lines seeing him she called out to him as she ran to him. He quickly appeared in front of her worried "what's wrong my little bundle! Are you ok, did he hurt please tell me"
He basically pleaded.
She shook her head as she gave him a big tight hug "no… I just missed you. How's your wound doing are you feeling better?" She asked clearly concerned.
He just chuckled while patting her head "I'm doing fine, I'm mostly healed you just need to focus on yourself my little bundle." He said with a soft smile.
Adam lifted his head "What about our deal?" He asked curiously.
Grey quickly got up and slapped his head back into the ground.
While standing on Adam's chest he whispered "Leave them be they are obviously having a moment, plus I'm pretty sure she passed your test so just accept it little man."
Adam just let out a loud groan of pain.
