The emperor's seat was to the right of Julius Reed.
There was no one else in the room.
Julius Reed, Hiddy, Lillian Tompson, Davion, and the emperor.
The dinner had no food or drink, nothing at all.
"You've already eaten, so I didn't prepare anything. I invited you here today for a good chat." Julius Reed waved a hand, and Davion closed the door and left.
"Now. Everyone in this room is trustworthy." Julius Reed stood up, pointing at the emperor, "Submit to me, or die."
"I never thought I'd make it out, especially after the Emperor Master and Darin sought me out." The emperor was very candid, "After thousands of years inside, fame and fortune are like dust and dirt, nothing at all. Mr. River wasn't wrong. Under your command, I can be safe. Leaving you, I'd die even faster."
"Good."
Julius Reed nodded in satisfaction.
This was also why he let Mr. River block the Emperor Master.
He just hadn't expected to also accidentally block Darin.
Consider it an unexpected gain.
